Tubbs has to be one of the top best place to shop. Every time I go in I am quickly assistant with an associate that is eager to help me find the things I need. They are friendly,curtious, And makes me feel like they truly value me as a customer.

I walked in looking for a set of small metric screws, in seconds and older gentleman took me to exactly the size set I needed and help make sure I had the thread type and size needed. I was in and out in under 5 minutes! Probably the best experience I’ve had in a hardware store!

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Tubbs hardware. We had a chance to meet Don who was so kind. This is a great place to stop at, they have much more than hardware. My favorite thing we took home was the bbq sauce 😋

First time shoppers, really enjoyed looking at what they had to offer. Not going to lie, I have heard great thing so I was excited to finally have the chance to go in and look around! The lady who checked us out was awesome. However, Been thinking about buying a new mower. But, it will not be from here. We were asked 7 times in 15 minutes if we needed help, and if we were sure we didnt need help? 3 times by the same guy! I honestly would have bought more if I didnt feel so rushed out the store! NO, WE ARE JUST LOOKING FOR THE 7TH TIME.

This is by far one of the best places I have been. The people who worked here had the best customer service I have ever experienced. Met Don, couldnt believe he was there on a Saturday. Decided to buy a grill, they helped me load up and talked a bit they didnt seem like the normal experience at other places Im used to where I feel like I was bothering them by being there. If I had a question, it was easy to find someone. Overall, if I could give over 5 stars I would. I highly recommend this company. Don whatever you are doing with your workers continue on this way. This was an awesome experience.

The merchandise in store is very cool, some things only found there. The issue is renting equipment from rude, impatient, non-communicative, ill-mannered, not so knowledgeable nor informed staff. To not cause an uproar, I have chosen to not publicly name (call out) this individual. This individual caused our rental so much unnecessary stress! Not to mention we, and our 3 children, were extremely inconvenienced; Which could have totally been avoided, had we been given appropriate information, and not mislead or misinformed!!Should there be a next time, I would rather call a plumber, and spend $100s, vs going there to rent anything, ever AGAIN!Good luck to you all that need to rent equipment from there!!**To reply: No, I did not know who to get in touch with...and honestly, more times than not, it just is not worth dealing with when the situation will not change😥

Mr Don is always cordial, and helpful.The entire staff act like they enjoy there jobs!It feels like small town America Everytime I walk in the doors, like a time machine takes me back 50 years.In a time where big corporations are gobbling up small town America and making empty promises its extremely refreshing to see a place like Tubbs hardware!!!!!Thanks to people like this who tow the line.

What a nice change of pace from the big-box hardware stores.Helpful staff, large selection of garden items, and interesting and unique Cajun gifts.Additionally, they also repair small engine and lawn equipment, a service thats hard to find now.The staff truly makes this business, and they hit a home run with their current team. We only went for the gift shop side of the store, but it was great! Cant speak for the hardware side, but its a fun store with a very friendly staff and good selection of Louisiana and Mardi Gras trinkets.. Worth stopping in at least once!

So my wife and I was in the area visiting we saw Tubbs Hardware on a billboard. We decided to go there because of the last name Tubbs. Soon as we walked in store great Coustomer service. As we walked around the store a guy walks up and introduce himself come to find out it was Don Tubbs we actually had the same First and last name..Don Tubbs is a great Guy!

It is always an amazing experience when you walk into an establishment to be greeted by the owner themself. The store had more than what I came for. When I purchasing what I wanted, my children were given complimentary moon pies! I was thanked for giving them business even though the store was thriving! I had purchased a few heavy items and the cashier was adamant that someone help me to the car. I assured her that I was okay and then none other than Mr. Tubbs helped me out to my car!! I am always very pleased to give local businesses my business, but I will continue to give my patronage to Tubbs!!!

Stopped here for a off the wall bulkhead fitting size 1 ⁷/8 size they had it. Had to use some wet and dry sandpaper to sand a little down on the tubb opening, but Works like a charm. Thank you Tubbs Hardware. Shop here if you cant find it elsewhere.

Definitely not very friendly and king cake was absolutely dry. Ive heard that before but ignored it and boy should I have listened. Nobody at work would eat the king cake so it got trashed.

This place has some cool souvenirs and WONDERFUL staff. We were heading home from Louisiana back to Austin Texas yesterday and was looking for something for my mother and wr found it. They have lots of Mardi Gras stuff and cookware and trinkets. Plus has hardware stuff. I enjoyed it but most importantly the PLEASANT STAFF. Thank you for being so kind as we had not had that luxury half our trip.

One of the coolest hardware stores in the area! I have need odd parts, bolts, screws, etc.... over the years...something specific, but not wanting to have to purchase a package or set of the ONE item I needed. They seem to always have the right items on hand. Their king cakes during Mardis Gras season are quite tasty as well.

They always help you out even if it is not what you need that they have. Help me out this time it was great. Wonderful price!

I love the in-your-face type of service you get here! Every time I go in to go by my outdoor equipment for my Construction company OtcOnTimeConstruction.com or my lawn equipment they always come up to me and say Hey you need some help! Thats the reason I go back! Also they have a lot of great Cajun products here! I highly recommend this place!

Tubbs has provided advice on how to solve several repair challenges on my lake house. Often, I buy the wrong product at the national chains because there is usually no knowledgeable person (with some exceptions) to advise me. Two of the Tubbs staff in particular have given me the right guidance ever time and saved me money -- expert service is their advantage and the big stores cannot compete with great service.

I love Tubbs, great LSU and Saints gear, as well everything you need for the Big Green Egg. The Cajun side of the store is everything you would need for Mardi Gras. Highly recommend them. Kudos!!

I was rushed off the phone by Don Tubbs himself when I was in search for a replacement solenoid off of a Briggs & Stratton engine. He cut me off several times, claimed he didn’t have the part, and made it clear that I was less important than the customers in the store. I ended up calling the location in Benton. Turns out, they DO SELL the part, and I picked it up from that location when I was in town again. That was the first and last purchase I’ll ever make in a Tubbs hardware.

Tubbs Hardware is awesome. Excellent customer service, every time I visit, from people who know their stuff. When I was in there last I was looking for some thing they dont carry (hard to imagine since the carry almost every hardware item imaginable). Mr Tubb heard my request and spent 10 minutes himself helping me find a way to fix my issue.

My husband is a true Cajun, so this is our go-to store for his lawn mowers, trailers, cast iron cooking pots, amongst many other items, including all things Louisiana! Tubbs has that old fashioned, friendly customer service! Everyone in there is helpful and knowledgeable about their products.

Would not buy a table leg from these people, bought a hose nozzle would not spray as advertised, they would not return $$$. I was going to purchase a pk grill from them, but will find another place to purchase from.

Just saw a video of the owner I guess looking to hire help. I’d never work for that place after seeing what he said. And I’ll never buy anything from them ether.

This place is great for when i need souvenirs to send to my family from out of state.

They are great when you are purchasing their products but you better take it elsewhere to get it service . When you call and check on your item after a week you get told to check back in a few days since they havent gotten to yours. So just know that if you want to have preventive maintenance done it may take a couple of weeks. If I wod have known this is exceptable to them I would have gone elsewhere to spend my mone .
