You don’t know how much you need your electricity until your underground service goes out. I didn’t even realize it could go out until the Swepco guy said to contact an electrician. The guy came out and gave us an estimate and explained what would happen and by the dinner time the next day we were back on line. The guys were so professional and considering they had to dig all across the back yard to get to our meter it was quite a project. I will definitely recommend McNeer for any electrical issues in the future.

Overall work was good but waay overpriced. Had to call them back out to fix a mistake the technician made. They had to fit me in to fix it.

My neighbor had a new electric service run across their yard. They dug on my side of their line and cut my cable service. When I got home and saw that my internet was out, I asked them if they had done anything around my line. They responded by asking who my internet provider was and told me to call them. I’ve now been without for 3 weeks, made about 6 calls, Comcast has been out 4 times and it still is not fixed. Also, I was told I may be charged for the service. The lines were clearly marked. Careless and unprofessional work!

Called for emergency. No response. Used Thomas electrical instead. Will use them againVery pleased

I’m floored by the exceptional customer service I received from McNeer Electrical Contracting. From the moment David called to let me know he would be there shortly, I knew this was going to be five star service I haven’t experienced in a very long time. To be honest, I was in the car taking my children to school when he called and was on speaker phone. The moment I hung up, I looked at my 13 year old and said “wow, that’s probably the nicest guy I’ve ever spoken to!” She agreed. The five star service didn’t just end in a phone call, but got even better when they arrived. David took the time to explain everything to me, what it would cost and what he was going to do to fix the problem... in detail. There wasn’t a moment where I felt rushed in deciding what option would be best. Trevor came into my home, not before putting shoe protectors on which I thought was fabulous, and couldn’t have been more polite and efficient. They both did an amazing job and even put back all the things they had to move in order to get to the breaker. It was so apparent that this is a company who treats their employees like family and in turn, their employees treat their customers the same. I will forever be a loyal customer.

Yikes! The technician showed up and charged $69 to write a way overpriced estimate. Very pleasant fellow but the instant up-sell for surge protection and benefits for members that pay a monthly service fees before even writing the way overpriced estimate was an instant red flag. Their work may be the best around but not on my place today.

The service was excellent. The electrician worked on a weekend, non-stop; communicated with me throughout the process as per estimated timeline; was informative regarding their other offered services and payment options as well being friendly, prompt, & reasonably priced. I would strongly recommend you using them when in need of service or as a preventative measure.

Did a search for some electrical help and McNeer actually had somebody to talk too online at 2100! So we set up a time for them to call the next morning and they came that afternoon and fixed my issue(old wiring plug and no circuit breaker with a new dryer). Friendly workers and they were happy to explain what they were doing. Will use again.

I had a wonderful experience with McNeer Electrical representative, Joel, who arrived at my house to install my Tesla Home Super Charger only one day after I called in my order. He was courteous, patient, and very proficient in his craft. The fact that he was a fellow US Army Vet just made me want to deal with McNeer exclusively in the future, so I joined their sensible monthly service plan for a meager $9.95 a months. I wish my plumber had one of those.

I was actually contacted by these guys first when choosing a company through Home Advisor, to fix my lamp post, and help with an outlet inside my home. They promptly made an appointment that worked for me and they arrived on time. The technician was very friendly and told me what to expect up front. I really like that they charge by the job and not by the hour. The technician also inspected my home and made some additional recommendations that would save me on energy costs. I took him up on replacing some lighting and even with that his total time at my house may have been 30-45 mins. Ive since had some more work done by another technician, who was just as nice and equally knowledgeable. They are excellent to me all around.

First I wanted to say this is my first review I wrote online and I am happy to do so for this amazing company. They are wonderful!! Another company was unable to work on our electrical cable and I called McNeer Electric at 11 am in desperate need of a repair for that day because we been without A/C for almost 2 days! I have a newborn and a toddler at home who did not do well the night before and I was hoping to find a solution. I spoke with Melinda (who is also fantastic) and she was able to pull some strings to get me on the schedule. Patrick, the technician, was on time, very professional, and had a smile on his face despite the 95 deg weather he was working in. He updated me throughout the day and at the end of everything the electrical lines were fixed. A bonus was that he was able to tell me that AT&T was at fault for the tampered lines and they should be able to refund me! They are a great company from the front office to the field work. I felt safe and at ease and would recommend them to everyone! Thanks to all who helped me and my little family have a good nights rest. =)

McNeer Electric did a great job on my service head. They came out here and ran a wire to my daughters RV, they did a great job on it.

They charge a $70 fee just to come do an estimate.
