I was on a hunt of looking for a new mattress and while I couldve bought it online, I couldnt decide whether I wanted a foam or a Purple mattress. I really really wanted to try them out first, so I visited this location referred by my friend and was eventually greeted by Luis near the end of the day. Even though the store was about to close, he was extremely helpful and nice in educating me about the mattresses and answered all my question I had. I also loved his personality and had a great conversation, even though I didnt buy the mattress on that same night (since I was waiting for the tax free weekend). In the end I decided on getting the Purple Hybrid Premiere 3 mattress, and while I had the urge to buy it on Purple.com website (since I had coupon code and other offers and cash back incentives), I ultimately ended up coming back to this store and was glad that Luis was also working that day. I quickly worked with him and bought the mattress with pillows and walked out the store smiling super happy. I highly recommend working with Luis and I cant wait to recommend this location for all my friends mattress shopping needs in the future. I also felt real good being able to support local business.TL;DR get your butt in there, you wont regret.

If you are buying a tempurpedic mattress in Boston then *definitely* go here and ask for Jack -- he is a total pro! The delivery and returns are far superior to buying a mattress online. They will really take the time to make sure that you feel comfortable (my husband and I spent a long time trying out the beds!) and they go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that you will get your bed on time. Our son is moving to Boston with all his belonging that could fit on a plane being the only things he could take. Obviously that didn’t include a mattress. My son also won’t have a car so it complicated pick up and we couldn’t confirm a delivery date if we ordered online which might mean he wouldn’t have a bed for a week or two. The manager at this Mattress Firm was amazing. I started a chat message on their website, he immediately called and walked me through all the affordable mattress options, price matched a bed frame, and even told me how we could schedule an Uber XL ahead of time to pick him up from his airport hotel on apartment move in day and get the mattress on the way there. He held the mattress and other purchases for us at the store for the last week and we pick it up tomorrow so he has a bed to sleep on his first night at his airtime time. He was helpful, well-priced merchandise and went above and beyond to make this school journey so much easier. I could not say enough nice things.

This place deserves zero stars their customer service is terrible. They lied to me and overcharged me and I have actual proof on my receipt. I ended up paying around $800 for a terrible cheaply made mattress. And you think it ends there it doesnt the customer service is horrible. They owed me money and didnt return my calls then when I finally reached them they said Im in the wrong. Here is a tip just in case they didnt teach you at mattress firm university the customer is never wrong especially when they have a receipt proving that you the manager lied and overcharged me. How you became a manager is beyond me. My family has done a lot of business with this company and for you to raise your voice and tell me Im wrong when I have the reciept to prove you said shipping was waived on the first mattress is a blatant lie. Maybe you thought you could take advantage of a woman. But you took advantage of the wrong person. You all owe me 119.99 for the delivery. Also an apology!!!l

We were disappointed that the return process was not as straightforward as advertised. We bought a mattress and it was too soft. They had actually sent us the wrong mattress. So after sleeping on it for a month we needed to return it. There are additional fees and charges. The salesman was inflexible and we left feeling taken advantage of. Will not shop there again

I was skeptical that mattress firm would have inflated prices but actually the mattress I wanted was the same as the manufacturer website and They matched some bonuses and perks too - and the people there were incredibly accommodating and attentive - I wanted a mattress asap because I was in pain and not sleeping well because I’d just moved and didn’t have a good bed and they found what I needed at one of their nearby branches and made it really easy for me to get it even in covid times. They followed up but also weren’t pushy either. Excellent customer service and great people to work with that I’d trust again if I ever need a mattress bedding! Highly recommend - Jack and Mike were who I worked with and were especially helpful for me.

They found me one, but I decided to return it a month later in the staff is just as helpful and dedicated to finding me the best snappers. Great customer service from Jack (5 stars), HORRIBLE customer service from Mike (1 star).I was given the stores phone number in an email about delivery, so because I had a question, I called it. Mike picked up. He told me I was out of luck if I needed to change it. ... But it gets worse. I was trying to ask if MattressFirm sticks to their own delivery windows (in other words, if theyre too early, can I make them wait) and he cut me off three times telling me he had other people to help, other customers to get to, and hes just too busy so Im going to have to deal with itTaking my business elsewhere next time.

What a great experience, even during this difficult time. First of all the store was super clean; it had hand sanitizers, masks, and social distance was maintained so I felt very comfortable going in the store. Second, the staff were very helpful especially Mike. We didnt know what we wanted and were unsure of what will be good fit for us. He went above and beyond to help us find the right mattress.

Jack, the salesperson we worked with at the Mattress Firm Back Bay location in Boston, was super helpful, straight forward, and worked with us to make sure we were able to purchase what we needed (a Purple 3 king, two purple pillows, and a mattress cover). We will definitely recommend him to our friends! It was also awesome to be able to try the mattress in person before purchase (which they were careful to make Covid-19 safe). On delivery day, the team showed up 5 minutes into our arrival window and were quick and friendly. They were also wearing PPE to avoid contaminating our home. Overall a great experience.

Ive been shopping for a mattress for months. Ive visited stores in Boston and New York as part of the process (I was operating on a relatively long timeline)--including some of the higher end stores here in Bostons Back Bay--and my experience with Jack at Mattress Firm topped each of the other ones. Jack guided me through a testing process merely to confirm that what I thought I was looking for (medium firm) was, in fact, what I enjoyed from a comfort perspective and what was best for my spine alignment. After we narrowed in on a style, Jack was very helpful in having me try different mattresses that fit the medium firm profile albeit at different price points and with relatively different technologies. Suffice it to say, I wasnt really planning to pull the trigger on a purchase when I went into Mattress Firm, yet I did. I wouldve never thought buying a mattress could be such an enjoyable experience, but Jack and his team at Mattress Firm made it a breeze. I will wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking at any stage of the purchase process- whether trying to get a feel for what youd think youd like, to making an actual purchase.

The store was clean and neat, the salesperson Jack R was polite, welcoming and knowledgeable, I was allowed to make my own decision on what I wanted, however the price was not as was advertised on all the tv commercials, but having checked other furniture/mattress stores and not getting what I wanted and I would have had to pay more for things that I was forced into taking I was able to make my calculations and found that the price was at or just above what I had intended to spend.also the delivery time was excellent and fit my needs.

When I got there the associate brung me to the third floor where he left me to consult with another customer after taking his time I had to come see what they were doing he finally was finished with her after 15 minutes then sold me a mattress no box spring for 200 dollars found a better deal for both ask for a refund and it takes 4 weeks literally a month. And I havent received my money yet I would never recommend Mattress Firm EVER!!!!!!!! Not even good enough for the one star FOH!

I recently purchased an adjustable base and mattress from the Boylston street location but the adjustable base I bought wouldn’t fit up the stairs of my apartment building. I called to store to see what my options were and Mike was able to upgrade me to the next level of adjustable base, which folds in half so it will fit in my building, for free. He was even able to get it delivered the very next day. Thanks Mike!

We had a great shopping experience with Jack and highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for a new mattress. At the very least, treat yourself to a few minutes in that super fancy massage chair near the window and people watch for a few minutes. A variety of options and price points without being pressured to spend more than intended. Once we narrowed down our options, Jack left us to test/decide but also knew when to check in. Amazing value furniture store. No particle board stuff here, although the solid wood/leather you find here probably isnt of the highest quality. But we walked out with a $150 solid oak colored coffee table, $800 super comfortable 3 seated sofa and love seat black leather, and $200 wood dining table and 4 chairs. Cant complain at all. Free same day delivery to sf, the person there,I think her name was Tina was super nice too.Will come back here.
