This is a very fast and efficient bike repair shop. Every other shop said 10 to 14 days. 2 days here for a repair job! Great, great, great!

Ive never had a better tune on my bike than the one I got here. It rides better than new after being ridden through all winter long. The staff were very nice and worked quickly to get my bike back to me the next day!I cant recommend enough.

Did a bleed and brake job, did it quickly even though they had to order parts. The person working was happy to answer my questions. The selection is somewhat minimal because of the size of the store but I still got everything I needed. I like the appointment system they have and their shop/store is clean. Ill be back for my tune ups!

These guys are great! I made an appointment online, spent two minutes in the shop on a Saturday, and was told my bike would be ready by Wednesday. They called the same day I dropped it off to tell me it was ready (so fast!). When I got my bike back, issues I didn’t even tell them about (because I forgot) were all fixed, they put really cool salmon colored break pads on and even cleaned my bike for me! Very reasonably priced. I’m so impressed and grateful to have these guys in my neighborhood. Thank you!

Got a rude vibe from the guy at Austinvelo on more than one occasion but I was sold products at a reasonable price so I was morally obligated to give 4 stars. Not the friendliest but maybe he was just stressed out at the time, trying to survive in these difficult times.

Needed a brake job and they did a great job. I have a cheap, 5 yr old $100 bike and he was honest with me about the cost of repair vs buying a new bike (which I really appreciated).The person went above and beyond with the repair! Really pleased and would highly recommend.

Shops like this remind me, I already have a bike shop. Shop person couldnt be bothered and had scoffing answers to questions. If youre looking for a Colnago (youre not looking for a Colnago) they might sell you one. Other than that, they have tubes.

My bike chains got loose while I was riding in the area, and I needed them fixed quickly so I could get home. Even though I didnt have an appointment, the repair employee took a quick look, diagnosed the issue, and fixed it in under a minute. Quick, professional, and kind.

Great service. I had issues with two tire tubes that I bought from Allstonvelo. Employees were helpful in figuring out what may have caused the problem and replacing the tubes for free in case there was a manufacturers defect. Replacement tubes havent had issues.

JT is super knowledgeable and doesn’t make you feel like a dummy if you don’t know a lot about bicycles. I got a full tune up and multiple fixes for my old run down bicycle and it’s riding like a champ. They are super honest and care about the work that they do! Great experience all around.

JT fixed up my bike that had been off the road for a year, and its fantastic. It was so good that I brought my wifes bike in for an overhaul as well. They do great work!

JT is great! Will easily walk you through what needs to get done when you need repairs or tuneups. Like any good mechanic hes honest about what needs to get fixed and things that Ive overlooked hes pointed out and made my ride that much better.Hes also a great guide to buying new bikes. I had a bike stolen last year and needed something cheap so he pointed me to 6KU bikes until I was able to (thank you stimulus check) put together the money for an All-City Cycle that I just got. One week from placing the custom order I was riding out the door.We know were all riding a lot more often right now to avoid the T so its nice to have this shop close by to keep all our rides smooth.

Need your bike fixed, go here! Need a new bike - they sell some pretty dope bikes and can order you just about anything. Between here and their sister shop - they do 95% of my bike maintenance and I have never been unhappy with their work. They also support the local bike community and are generally the nicest folks. When I open a bike shop - I want it to be like this but with sandwiches and beer and racing bike. 10/10, Best of Bostons

My first experience with Allstonvelo definitely wont be my last. I took my bike in for a check-up after a crash, and they inspected my bike quickly and professionally. The owner is super friendly. Ill definitely be back next time I need a tune-up.

This guy takes great pride in his work, as well he should. He totally rehabbed my average bike. Now it is like a new bike. I love it! I would definitely go back to him again for more maintenance.

I was looking for the correct size seat post on a Saturday right before they closed at 5:00. The employee that helped me really took the time to help measure and sell me the correct size in what turned out to be a very tricky measurement compared to normal even though it was the end of the day. These guys are great.

Bought a new seat, post, and helmet from this place and they were great! As a casual bike rider I was worried the guys who work here would be pretentious, but it was the complete opposite. A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Both mechanics are extremely helpful and go above and beyond. I had a defect in my bike from the manufacturer. Allstonvelo diagnosed the problem and helped me resolve the issue. They repeatedly told me their main goal was to keep me riding. I will be bringing all my bikes here from now on.
