Incredible store with super kind staff! I inquired about a hat and they looked all over the store and were eventually able to find it at the bottom of a bin!Its expensive but quality stuff with a laid back atmosphere. Id definitely return!

I made first purchase in 1983. The item was a Snap T fleece pullover. I have been a regular customer ever since. I appreciate their their promotion and participation in environmental conservation. Their do this in order to limit the environmental impact, while producing items of the highest quality.

Not convenient for customers trying to get to Newbury St. especially- hours have now been reduced to 4 hours per day. We are not waiting in queue in the freezing cold to return because of these ridiculous hours, which means we need to pay return shipping.

Made a trip to get a button replaced (patagonia defect) on the hood of my Patagonia snowshot jacket. Not only did they put the wrong button on, but its backwards. Wild. Patagonia wants 8 weeks to fix the jacket.

Its important to note that Patagonia is an expensive clothes store. Dont expect to find anything under $100 here. Once youve gotten past that, this store is a great location. The staff were super helpful and understanding and helped me as I spent well over an hour deliberating on a coat purchase, and were similarly super helpful when I came back a week later and exchanged it. They have a great warranty policy with lifetime repairs or trade ins. The coat was expensive but I dont regret it one bit.

The staff at this Patagonia store are so friendly and helpful! They helped me find the perfect item, order it and have it shipped to my house, and allowed me to ask questions about their products and policies. Such a great experience. Ill be shopping Patagonia more often, I love the baggies I got!

I shop at Patagonia because of the quality of their products and because I can trust that what I wear is produced in a fair way.I wanted to post this review to comment that, in addition to what I just wrote, which makes Patagonia great, yesterday evening I arrived at the Newbury shop when they were about to close. To my surprise, they let us finish our shopping even after the store was closed. This is the first time this happens to me, I think, in my whole life. No pressure to buy anything, and no rush at all. Good advice that feels honest and knowledgeable.Well done Patagonia people, you keep surprising me in positive ways!

Fully stocked store with the usual high-quality products. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a return to make without the original receipt and they took it without question and with a smile. The product I returned was no longer in production but they gave me a comprobale new item. They even let me choose among several things. No charge. Outstanding friendly service. Great place. Great location on upper Newbury street.

Normally I dont leave reviews for retail stores like Patagonia but the staff went above and beyond when repairing my micro puff jacket. The guy at the register offered me two options, an iron on repair that would take a week, or an in store fix with tenacious tape (picked the latter). He then went and got some denatured alcohol from the downstairs stockroom, came back, and patched me up. You could easily DIY this but it was nice to see he took the care as if he were fixing his own. Love Patagonia corporate mentality.

I was at Patagonia with my grandmother who needed to buy a coat for winter she could travel with. They werent pushy and immediately found the perfect thing for her- very lightweight but warm.The entire staff was great. The store was almost empty (midday on a weekday) so we had two of them helping her out, chatting, and offered her water.Definitely check them out if you appreciate good-quality clothing.

Always high quality, functional and stylish clothing. Customer service is exceptional. I have found that whenever there is any type of problem with any purchases, (which are few), that the staff is extremely accommodating with either replacing or repairing the item. They provide extremely durable, comfortable clothing that is perfect for living in the northeast. Their policy of guaranteed satisfaction surpasses any other clothing retailer that I have experienced.

I slipped in just before they closed at 6:59 PM (maybe even 7 PM...) and they still very generously let me in and helped me!! Saf (pardon my spelling) took the ripped capilene long underwear that I had brought in for repair and said that they could repair it or just get me a new one for comfort. The phenomenal assistance that he offered me made me feel like a human being and is a testament to both Patagonia as a company and Saf as an kind individual. Thank you!!!!

Came in for the worn wear event in the summer. There were two or three racks with worn wear items to choose from. Everything was in great condition and good value. I wish there was a larger selection of items though. The team doing patches and repairs did a fantastic job fixing a pair of shorts for me. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with repairs. They even gave tips on DIY repairs and handed our mini sewing kits. Awesome event to attend. I highly recommend if you have the chance.

Awful - small store, incompetent employees, frustrating experience. Great products, but that’s about it. Waiting over 30 minutes to buy $300 snow pants with only 4 people in front of me in line... almost walked out and bought another brand just out of sheer aggravation... they need a MUCH better system. How about a mobile check out app? They have the iPads already... Only 3 registers (4 if you count the one in the front that they somehow can’t think to open when line is long) in the store and about 30 employees, most of whom walk around re-positioning merchandise. Get your act together! Just awful...

Patagonia on Newbury st. Boston took very good care of me and went above and beyond regarding a pair of ripped rain pants (torrent model) and I am very pleased

The staff there were extremely helpful and pleasant, even though I was not an easy customer to help.I had a giftcard to Patagonia and wanted to use it to buy a backpack, but the store did not have the two backpacks I liked the best from the online store. My top pick was not in stock when they went to order it to ship it to the store, so I ended up ordering my second choice to have it shipped to the store. A couple of days later, I was looking online and saw that the backpack I liked the best was available online, so I called the store and asked them about it. They were able to order that one for me and have it shipped to the store in a couple of days. I compared both backpacks at the store and wanted to keep my first choice, but to do so and apply the gift card to that one, I had to return both backpacks and then pay again for the one I wanted. It was a lot of work for the employees but they were always cheerful and pleasant.Ultimately, they did a great job making sure I got exactly what I wanted, even if it was a difficult process for them. I really appreciated that service and would recommend this store for anyone who is interested in purchasing a Patagonia product.This review is really for the service I received, but to speak briefly about the products themselves, they are expensive and very high quality.

The staff are INCREDIBLY accommodating, grabbing unreleased clothes from the basement for you to try or letting you use their clearly staff-only bathroom in the basement. This is Patagonia flagship store. Its the only one around, and they did it right. Huge selection of mens and womens. Good selection of kids. Plenty of accessories like hats, bags, provisions, etc. Well worth a visit.

I love Patagonia, they stand by their (quality) products for nearly a lifetime! Everybody at this store is super helpful.

We gave them a jacket to fix (for free), but when it didnt show up for 3 weeks instead of the one week promised, we learned that it had been stolen. When contacted, Patagonia apologized sincerely, refunded the full price of the jacket, and then gave us a 40% off entire purchase coupon. What great customer service.

I have to say, I LOVE Patagonia!!!! This store is awesome!!! The whole staff is so helpful and they make you feel special. I had a problem with a jacket I bought last season. The staff told me it was no problem to return/exchange!! Now that is customer service!!!! Bottom line, you can tell the whole staff in Boston want to be there!! Go in for yourself. They arent kidding about their return policy. A Patagonia windbreaker I bought years ago started falling apart. I got a no-questions-asked substantial credit for it, and bought a new $200+ windbreaker for only $70 plus the credit on my old windbreaker. Why would I shop anywhere else? Their stuff is pricey and worth it.

I just love this store. I mean the products are awesome but they have awesome people working here! Once I was browsing in kids section for a down sweater (for me because they are cheaper) and the sales person stopped by and explained everything and said I should totally get the kids one and save money! Haha. I ended up with regular womens bc it looked better. That same down sweater had a little rip and they repaired it in store in 10 minutes! Amazing. Totally worth the money.
