I know this brand and visited their branch near Venice Beach a couple of times. There the espresso was outstanding. Here in Boston the cappuccino was so extremly sour that I even had problems to swallow. The very nice ladies tried a second version and I could see how they did a lot of adjustments at the grinder and brewing ratio. They both did their very best to improve the extraction. The outcome was a little bit less but still sour.I was too embarassed to complain again as the barristas were so incredible friendly. It seemed to be a problem of underextraction propably caused by the espresso-machine. The company should fix this issue and provide proper hardware. Almost seven dollars for a terrible sour cappuccino is ridiculous.
Excellent service and amazing products! Employees know how to talk about coffee in an eloquent way without sounding pretentious. Would come back again!
Unexpected good quality coffee shop in the lobby of an office building. It has a good number of seating options, excellent for a work casual conversation
Great atmosphere and terrific staff. So far everything that Ive tried has been good. Food, coffee etc...place is awesome and conveniently located.
Delicious coffee in a quiet and comfortable space. Always love intelligentsia
Really neat little place with good espresso.
Wonderful coffee, absolutely gorgeous space to sit and relax and enjoy your beverage.
Excellent coffee and service, in a tucked-away location in Bostons financial district. A blink-and-youll-miss-it cafe in an office building next to Equinox and a sg, Intelli serves up a great array of coffee products, with delicious cappucinos and awesome pourovers. They dont charge extra for nutmylks, and the baristas Audrey and Marco are especially nice.
Does not accept cash. What kind of coffee shop won’t accept cash for a transaction costing only a few dollars. There are dozens of other coffee shops nearby who will gladly accept cash and tips. Get over yourselfz
High quality coffee but crazy expensive.
Well pulled shots and, if you can believe it, friendly staff (a trait Intelligentsia staff are not known for).I’m hesitant to give a 3rd wave behemoth five stars, but they offer complimentary sparkling.Until someone in town starts sourcing Little Wolf (sry ToS), I’m posting up right here.
Best coffee I’ve found in Boston so far.Prices could be better, but given the landscape of Dunkin’ doughnuts and Starbucks in Boston, it’s a delight.Coffee actually has flavors instead of just tasting burnt like the competition. 👍🏻
The coffee was really wonderful, the service was OK, just took our order & ignored us for the most part. But its a really gorgeous place, with fantastic coffee
Meh. I spose the high prices keep the riffraff from lowering the average income in the lobby. Which is nice.Minus 2 stars bc the barista didnt mention his Tesla once.
Excellent Coffe, limited options for food, but all I had was very good
Nice setting, yummy steamed chai, friendly staff
Too expensive for too little coffee with too little quality. But, the service seems great.
The best hot chocolate in Boston, hands down.
Friendly Service!
Awesome!!
A very nice place to land with your computer and work a little, an afternoon.
