Dropped off my bike and so far the experience has been extremely positive with great customer service. I will update this review after the bike is serviced, but I fully expect it to stay a 5-star review. Everything about the experience has been top notch so far.

Unless something catastrophic happens Ill always do business with D&K. Its vary rare to find someone in this kind of an industry who knows his stuff and is a down to earth nice guy. His crew are rock stars and I have and will always recommend people to this place

Donnie did an amazing job cleaning and repairing my sons carburetor for a yz250f that had a terrible bog. I’m pretty knowledgeable about this stuff but couldn’t get rid of the problem. I took just the carburetor in and when I put it back on the bike, perfect. Runs strong now. Thanks D&K. I’ve had great experience’s with them, always a good job. Keep up the good work fellas.

They are awesome has some work done by them a while ago. Took a cam cap with a broken bolt before close on Saturday. Told me it would be done Tuesday and sure thing it was. Sure beats a machine Shop I had something similar done and it took 3 weeks and cost 4 times as much. Highly Recommend!!!

I took my 1987 lt500r quadzilla to get tuned here. I had to schedule about a week in advance because they were pretty busy. However, I dropped it off on a Friday and it was ready for me the next day! I couldn’t be happier with their work! They were very professional and for what I paid the value was amazing. They’ve tuned my brothers banshee and worked on some of my other friends quads, and every time they do outstanding work. I would highly recommend taking any quad or motorcycle here for whatever you need done!

These guys are GREAT as a motorcycle shop and their superb customer service is TOP GUN. When my bike needed a tune up or repairs, I was continually being contact through text and phone messages about my 07 Yamaha motorcycle on the cost before starting on the repairs. From the rear tire (they send me pictures) and rear brakes needed to be replaced to checking over the bike for other necessary safety issue. Also, their pricing on repairs are reasonable. In addition, when my bike had a problem while on the freeway, I had to merge into the safety zone on the highway. I contacted them and spoke with Nick, Ian, and Donnie about the problems. Well, I was surprise on their reaction and Donnie (I think thats how to spell his name) said, are in a safe spot? After trying to troubleshoot the problem over the phone, he said, Im going to get on my motorcycle and ride over to you. What? Who does that? Where did these guys come up with going the extra mile for a customer? Is this crazy? But wait, it even gets better! When Donnie arrived, he looked over the bike and search for the reserve tank switch. It wasnt easy to turn the switch to the correct setting. Also, the battery needs to be replaced too. So, he arrange for Nick or Ian to drive to our location with a trailer. While, we were waiting, Donnie said, Where do you live? Well take you home when his employee arrive with the trailer. What, take me home? In fact, after we agreed for I to find a ride home, Donnie stayed and waited for the trailer with his bike and mine bike too. Wow, Wow, Wow! I am stunned about their customer service, reasonable pricing, and putting customer first as a priority are more than any other shop have done for me!!! I AM ECSTATIC and will continue to come back, again, and again, and again! Thank you D&K Shop!!! You guys are Champions!!!

Awesome motorcycle repair shop. Good people that really know what theyre doing. Highly suggest them for mechanic work from dirt bikes to street bikes and sport bikes to snowmobiles and even small engine stuff like generators etc. Donnie one of the owners is a great guy whos spent his whole life racing and swinging a wrench. These guys work on motorcycles because they love it, and it shows. Ive taken my bike in for service or other fixes and they are honest and up front about what is and isnt wrong, as well as what the cost should be. When I take my bike in here, it feels like Im paying a friend to take care of one of the most important things in my life, thats how they treat me.You wont be disappointed. They earn every penny of what they charge, which isnt as much as most other shops.

Great shop, they are honest, and keep busy. They are there to help the customer. They gave great advice and diagnosed the bike (unlike other local shops). The staff is friendly, open, and honest. They wont over-diagnose to get extra work. Theyll fix what needs to be fixed. Ive had a much better experience here compared to other local bike shops. Thanks guys!

Charged way more then was talked about in a full rebuild. I bit my tongue and said nothing. Had them take a look at the bike and asked for valves to be done because bike was running a little funny. Told me it was a hot start issue and that needed to be adjusted and that was it. Bike runs worse after whatever they did and they still charged me almost 200 for that and to put on a throttle cable that I provided. Do not recommend. And if you decide to go there make sure you triple check on what they are actually going to charge you. Lousy work and service

These guys are terrible. I would not refer anyone to them for any work or any products. The employees are very rude. You are better off going to moto united.

Friendly, knowledgeable and fairly priced. Cannot go wrong here. Taking your dirt bike anywhere else is a HUGE mistake. Cannot emphasize that enough.

I have known Donnie for over 20 +years. He has always been so kind and helpful to me when ever I had any questions about my motorcycles. He recommended this awesome chrome exhaust pipe for my honda xr 600 back 20 so years ago. My daughter recently purchased this nice used honda cbr 250 r from his shop, and fixed a few issues on it, and had it ready to go for us. He even went above and beyond just recently and helped me with a Suzuki Dr-z 400 carburetor I brought to his shop. He fixed it for me. My son and i took it home installed it back in the bike and it runs great now. Excellent service from Donnie . Would recommend anybody to D & K Motorcycles. 👍

Great honest people! I Went in to get my fork seal replaced. They are busy so you have to set up an appointment but they were able to get it done same day. The seal ended up leaking again so I brought it back and they fixed it again, no charge. Highly recommended D & K

Excellent, affordable service for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, etc. These guys know there stuff! We brought in a severely damaged scooter which they restored better than we could have imagined. Its a smaller establishment, so it can take some time to turn around. Glad they are located right in the heart of Bountiful.

I would take my scooter here for repair again, and if I was in the market for a motorcycle, I would get it here.My scooter is my only way to get to school (35 minute commute so I cannot walk) and I am new to the city, so I dont have anyone to bum rides off of. I was going to have to drop my scooter off for repair for over a week at the vespa dealership... Donny threw some Redline fuel cleaner in and did this crazy rev and turn off my engine technique. My scooter sounds great and is running so well. I will likely need to take it in in a few weeks when I have my car back, but in the mean time Donny saved my butt. THANK YOU!!!!

Great Shop!

The guys here were super helpful when I took my bike in to get an estimate on repairs. They are willing to work around whatever you want done, and adjusting the prices because I was bringing in my own parts and fluids. Good selection of used motorcycles and ATVs as well at fair prices. They also carry some high quality fluids and some parts if you need them as well.

This place is great. Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable. One of the owners Donnie always remembers your name when you come in. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting someone that knows what they are doing at a fair price.

I do everything but tires, so I went to here to put some new rubber on. 20 each plus weights. Shouldnt be a lot. Twenty of those small weights, a dollar each, huh? Strip weight? Those are even more I was told. I could have been charged 2.50 apiece, wow thanks, $50 for weights?, I would have had them removed at that price. I paid DK and went to our friend Amazon. Motion Pro, 72 weights, $8.40 prime shipping. They are not expensive, they even come in both black, matching my rims. My point is to be a bit more upfront with pricing. Dont back end the service, knowing it is hard to undo it, obligating the customer. Amazon doesnt do tires, but many others locally do. Nice guy Don, but I wont be back.

These guys are great! They have saved me a lot of money over the last few years. The owner, Donnie, is very personable and really cares about customer service. If I tell him I want to do something myself he gives me great advice, helps me order parts and always tells me to call him if I run into trouble. On my last rebuild he could have taken me for about $400. Instead, he gave me a better/cheaper option and sent me to another shop for machine work so I could use that sleeve one more time. Its a 50 mile round trip for me to get his shop and I pass quite a few other shops along the way but I wont take my bikes anywhere else.

Been trying to get a 12v outlet put in my ninja 400 for months now. Initially they ordered the outlet but not the relay so I had to wait for the relay to come in. Took it in to get the relay put in and it’s the wrong part. They said they’d call Kawi and let me know when they figure it out but that was a couple weeks ago. They’ve been nice and haven’t charged me anything since the job isn’t done, but I’m frustrated by how long this is taking

Just recently purchased a used YFZ 450 and had problems with it after I got it home of course... But I brought it down to D&K and they did more then help me! Donnie was very personal and took the time to personally explain what was wrong with my ATV. You can tell that he’s really genuine about his work and I will continue referring and bringing work to the fellas down at D&K! Thanks guys!

During a tune up they drained my oil and forgot to put new oil in my bike. I trusted them because of their good reviews and didnt double check. I got about 100 miles down the road and my bike stalled because of the lack of oil. Luckily it did not seize the engine. When I came back to them about this issue they told me it was my problem. I told them that I understand people make mistakes and I wasnt upset, I just wanted them to fix the mistake and any damage it did to my bike. They responded with the suggestion that if I wanted any compensation, I find a lawyer and meet them in court.

If you are a person that knows nothing about bikes this guy can make it sound like he does. Nice person but little to no knowledge. You can find kids working out of their dads garage with more knowledge and experience.

I had two new dirt bike tires mounted with the Tubliss system by them...after swearing up a blue streak trying on my own to remove the fossilized remains of the old tire carcasses I took them to D&K. They found two problems I over-looked. The front bearings were notched (I had suspected) and about a dozen rear spokes were frozen that I didnt know about. I ride on a budget and replacing them was going to get spendy fast. So as a last resort they lubed them and heated them and they all broke loose which saved me serious $$. Thanks Donny and Co.

Not impressed. Poor communication. Tried to convince me that the tire wear is due to kickstand scuffing. Tried to work through the problem but Donnie would only be more insistent and antagonistic.Then found out they invoiced me for parts not installed which was caught and corrected, but not the labor.Its a real shame because it looks like an otherwise good shop. Just rotten experience here.
