I have been a Sun Tint customer for 4 years, they are great. Reasonable prices, great service, great product. BTW, I also had them install window film on my home windows and, whoa, totally worth it. Keeps the heat under control, as about 40% is blocked, and the UV rays are also controlled. Im positive my stuff would have discolored had I not installed the film. Why 4 stars? Their hours of operation are not well suited to customers that have to work 9-5. Headache to get my car there, but TOTALLY worth it. Honestly, I would have traded a longer wait for an appointment in order to get an after hours appointment. But, again, I took time off to take my car. That says a lot about their services . Shop local, eat local!

Sun Tint is highly capable. We have taken several of our vehicles to them. They have updated our stereo systems, rear view cameras and other high-tech items we wanted in our vehicles where the dealerships have not been able to provide or would have charged twice as much. Had some minor issues when I came into the shop as I had no receipt from prior work on my Ford Fusion, but the owner Jamon made things as right as they could be due to the circumstances. I appreciate his trustworthiness, and loyalty, and willing to help me out the best he could. His work is awesome and he’s very kind and friendly! His tint work is amazing! Looks great again and no bubbling or anything! When I paid him I forgot my change but (I believe his son) came running out of the shop with my change I totally forgot about! Very disappointed in the extremely poor customer service. I dropped my car off the day before to have 2 windows tinted and everything was fine. They drove it into the shop and put it up overnight. The next day I get a call to pick up my car saying that they don’t have time to do it, it has tint on it and to come get it out of their shop immediately. The owner acted very aggressive towards me on the phone which was surprising. I immediately went to pick it up not wanting to leave a Mercedes SL500 in a location where someone was acting like that. When I went to start my car I noticed the key wouldn’t turn which had never happened before. I asked his wife who drove it in to the shop and she said she would try but he told her to get away from the car and that “he would have to fix his own car. Then I understood why he was acting so aggressively, they had somehow broken the ignition lock cylinder on my Mercedes SL500 and he was worried he was going to be blamed for it. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it or fight with them because I understood how these things happen so called the insurance company and explained what happened and asked if I should call the police and they said just to have it towed to the Mercedes dealership which I did. Overall I was very disappointed with the aggressive and rude way it was handled, very unprofessional. As a business owner myself I understand how important it is to at least be polite to the customers. Be careful about taking an expensive car to this location, it could be a very expensive and disappointing mistake.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Awesome people!! Always willing to work with you on things, and always give great advice. Any problems you may encounter, which is once in a blue moon, they are more then willing to fix them for you to make you happy. The pricing is awesome. Hours are also good for the people who work later and cant make it because of work.

Awesome guys. Very friendly and helpful, also fun to talk to. Had all my Windows tinted, headlights buffed/cleaned and all of my lights tinted/smoked! They stayed a little after closing time just to get it done because of when I was able to get there. Everything was very clean and still is holding up great and its been six months! There was some bubbles when I picked it up but they assured me they would go away with good care of the window in a week and they did. I refer them to anyone who asks where I got my tint done.

Took my truck in to get a complete stereo system put in. Was extremely dissatisfied with the speakers they installed.Jamon told me to bring the truck back in and upgraded my speakers. That speaks volume to me. great job on turning things around I dont think anyone else would have done the same. You guys rock and so does Rob.

Awesome place! They do tinting and all other kinds of service and accessories for cars including car stereos and installation.We first had our windows tinted on our car, and the quality and service they provided was awesome. The owner and employees are top notch and super nice to work with. Basically what he explained is that they offer just 2 types of tint, and unlike their competitors their bottom line stuff is very high quality, and offers the full UV protection and some heat protection that you pay extra for elsewhere.We opted for the higher end ceramic tint which blocks A TON of heat, we were swayed because we do have 2 little ones. I have had windows on other cars tinted at other places in the past, and I guess there isnt much difference, other than the fact that these guys take the time to explain everything to you, and offer suggestions, they are very nice, and they will work with you on price, or throw a discount on there for you. A few weeks later we took another car in to get an aftermarket strep put in. Because of the specifics of the car the stereo had to be hardwired in, and we even decided it would be best just to run new wires to all the speakers and the batteries. (I came to this conclusion because I didnt have time to wait for a needed harness to arrive) unfortunately because the car was apparently a pain to work with, they werent done by the time they closed on Saturday afternoon, so he called and offered to either stay late or go in on Sunday morning to make suite I had the car by the time I needed it!They were able to get everything taken care of for me and went way above and beyond to do it.

It was the year 2007. I was a 17 year old kid who saved up $5k to buy a Jeep Cherokee. I remember calling a million local tint shops and I ended up going with Jamen and the folks at Sun Tint. Im glad I did. I think I spent another $5k in audio upgrades and tint on my $5k car I just bought!Fast forward a decade later (and several cars) and Sun Tint still remains my choice for vehicle tint and audio. I went down to this place because I had heard from a friend that it was a great place to go to. I went down (All the way from Utah Valley, a 50 min drive) to get it done. Got there and they took me in. There were bubbles and I asked about them. Said they would go away. They didnt. It was horrible. There were so many tiny bubbles in clusters all over. I went down to get it redone. (Another 50 min one-way drive) And I cannot tell quite yet for how bad the tint is, But right off, There is a huge spec that looks like spaghetti sauce in the driver side tint. I am so upset. This will be the third time to go down to this place spending over $150 just in gas to get there. This is a terrible place. Never go there unless you plan to have to spend lots of time there!

A nice spot for big truck tint

DO NOT take your vehicle to this place!! They tinted 6 windows on my car and all 6 have bubbles and creases even after letting sit for 1 month. Had to take it back (which should never have to happen) they did nothing to fix the problem and had every excuse they could come up with as to why it looks horrible. I have worked with cars (including tinting) for over 30 years and have never seen this bad of work. Dont waste your time and money, find someone who cares about their work. I dont normally do reviews but eveyone needs to be warned about this place.

Dont care about their work. I was I had my tint and clear bra done by them. Had to take it back 3 times to have the tint redone because of so many bubbles from the install. Still has a ton, but am sick of taking it back. Clear bra was coming off. First time they snipped it and try sticking it back, second time they used some jagged scrap piece. Not a professional job. Would rather pay more money to have it done better anywhere else.

Staway!!!. I had them tint two cars last year spent 400$ and I got both cars back with dust on the tint! You could seriously rub your hand and feel the dirt. (I guess thats why the owner had me pay BEFORE they did the work. Also, the stripe that goes on the windshield was uneven. called the careless owner and he assured me that it was normal and did absolutely nothing to help. After ONLY ONE YEAR the tint turned purple and the rear window is starting to show bubbles. They do not care about their customers at all. You will get sarcastic answers and will be ignored if you have any issues or questions about their work.

Had a full tint and clear bra done at this shop. Had high hopes due to the price. The car that they were applying the tint/bra to was a 2013 Subaru BRZ. They custom cut all of their bras from what I understand. There were seams everywhere on my bra. bumper itself was at least 3 peices. This caused dirt and water to collect in the seams. A quality job minimizes the number of seams. Tint was applied at the same visit.Problems with the clear bra remained after over a month. There was moisture and dirt collecting under certain locations of the bra. Had to make an appointment to get that fixed. The seams were collecting too much dirt, at which point i decided to get a new bra applied from Mark Miller Collision. Upon removing the bra, they notified me that the previous job had LEFT CUTS IN THE PAINT. Straight through the clear coat. No amount of detailing will fix that. The new bra had zero seams. All ONE PIECE.The tint was horrible. After a month bubbles, creases, and other inperfections remained. I took it in and they reapplied all 7 windows. 4 out of the 7 windows still look bad with creases and bubbles.Sadly this is the kind of shop that leaves greater than 1/8 inch gap around windows with bonus water and scratches in the interior of your new car. They also come up with long lists of excuses for their poor work. I had a very hard time reaching Jamon (business owner) on his phone during the process. Even calling ahead of time I wouldnt be able to find him at the business location. Offputting to say the least.Multiiple visits didnt improve their work.TL;DR: You get what you pay for. Youll get damaged paint, damaged interior, and poor quality work.

I had a problem with an amp that I didnt purchase from Sun Tints and a subwoofer that I did purchase. Jamon sold me a new amp and subwoofer at a very reasonable price. The sound was not quite what I wanted and he changed the subwoofer and box which gave me the sound that I wanted. I strongly recommend Sun Tints in Bountiful for all of your window tinting and audio-visual needs for your car. It was Five Star Service in my book. Thanks Sun Tints!

I brought my motorcycle in to Suntint to have Jamon, the company owner, give me an estimate for a clear-bra application for the bike. Not only was the price that Jamon quoted me a fair one, so that I agreed to it right away, but Jamon himself was actually able to do the application right on the spot and in a minimum of time, with the job turning out beautifully. On the whole, it was a very pleasing experience for me, and I would enthusiastically recommend Jamons work and that of his company to anybody.
