This business fraudulently charged me 1700.00 earlier this year for supposed engine work! A week later I had the same problem and engine lights go off. I filed a report with the Better Business about them. Sarah lied to the Better Business and said I never called them about their fraudulent work! The calls were in my phone, plus there are people close to me including the person who gave me the ride to Care car that know I was telling the truth.I ended up having a TRUST WORTHY BUSINESS go back and tighten my head bolts down because they did not. Told me that I needed a valve job. Car Care scammed me! I am having the same issues this morning that I paid them 1700.00 to fix! Snakes! I personally know of two other people they have scammed as well! ONE OF THEM IS MY DAUGHTER! BUYER BEWARE.

Car Care is always reliable, quick, trustworthy. I would call it friendly, but it is certainly efficient. I am a big fan of Sara at the front desk.. she runs everything like a Swiss watch. Fair pricing, and I never feel like they are taking advantage. Great Olivet discount.

Ive only noticed one problem in all the years Ive taken my Honda Element (2003) to them. There was a coolant reservoir that wasnt screwed back in securely and it hit my fan and got torn to shreds (not fun). But aside from that, our family has been taking our cars to them for years - so thats a lot of work done with only one minor catastrophe. Overall, they are reliable to diagnose and do good work. I recommend them frequently.

Love CCAC! Theyre always courteous and timely and if something requires an explanation rather than a repair CCAC always makes it a point that I understand why. Even though I live out of state now, I still go there when I come to visit!

Twas my last day working at dairy queen, and all I wanted was to work with my dear friend for the night. Unfortunately, /car care/ located at bourbonnais cannot run a business, so my friends (after being screamed at by the manager) had to wait 8 hours for a tow truck. My shift was long gone and my heart is forever broken😫😭

Was planning to take my car in to have several things done in a few weeks, but my steering became real loose to where i didnt think it was going to wait. I dropped it off at 7am on a monday with no appointment, they opened at 730, called me at 8 to tell me what was wrong, then called me at 10 to say it was done. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing quick, reliable and fairly priced repairs.

We had an amazing experience! We thought we needed new brakes pads. Turns out, no work was needed. Instead of replacing the pads anyway and taking our money.....they called and said our brakes were good. They didnt even charge us for taking up their time! Great place!

Very Friendly staff. I dont know them personally but i do know the same mechanic works on my vehicle everytime and i love this.. They take care of my vehicle and listen to my concerns.Car care will take a look at your issue for free and give you an estimate on repairs.Oil changes are a must here they are super cheap and they check and replace fluids!!!Never had any complaints with this company or the people working it. I have been coming here since i was a child with my moms vehicle and now my own.

The office staff & mechanics are courteous and trustworthy. Our 22 year old daughter, finishing at Olivet University, never felt talked down to or felt like they were trying to taking advantage in any way. And when she had a repair that was going to be like $900, the mechanics discussed it & recommended that the vehicle probably isnt worth the repair bill. What live is company is that?! Went to get a routine oil change, and they strip the drain plug causing an oil leak and in return started causing my engine to start shaking. Then they refuse to atleast refund me for new oil tray, even when I drop off old one and you can physically see where they messed it up. Wouldnt recommend going to a place that cant get a basic oil change right.

After calling multiple shops around town, Car Care offered the most affordable price to replace my rear brakes and rotors. Service was done in a timely fashion and the gentleman working at the desk and the other man working on my car were great. They were incredibly busy this day and had no issues keeping me updated with the progress of my vehicle.The only reason its not a 5 Star review it due to one of the techs talking rudely to a customer who had left her windows down when it started raining outside. She had asked for her keys back right when it started to rain and the guy at the front desk didnt give the lady her keys back since he was about to have her vehicle pulled in. Just poor communication in that instance.

While I would love to give a good review of this place as I have been going here for oil changes for a few years I simply cant because there customer service is terrible. On multiple occasions I have come in with a concern and be told that nothing is wrong with my car without them even looking at it. Most recently I called to get an alignment for my tiers, they would not do this as I had my tires installed at a different place. There explanation was flimsy at best to why they would not provide me this service. If a customer wishes to purchase a service you offer I do not see why you would refuse them

They didnt top off my fluids and the oil plug was seized on it. Cheap but not great.

Recently had a fuel pump go bad on my truck.The first 2 went bad and just had a third replaced, great to have a warranty with the work.Saved a few buck with an on line coupon.Check them out, youll be pleasantly surprised

Had an oil change done here where when I drove the car after it overheated on me three times. They had overfilled my car with coolant and when I opened the hood it had sprayed out everywhere all over the engine. When I brought the car back because I had issues with the overheating, they told me tough luck and that it was not their responsibility to fix a problem they made. I had been going to Car Care for 15 years but now I will never go back there again. They do not care about people; unfortunately now theyve just become money hungry mechanics that want to tell you everythings wrong with your car because its over 10 years old.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Mechanics are knowledgeable, competent, and willing to take a second look at things if something doesnt seem right to you. The waiting area is large and air-conditioned. The prices are a little higher than most other places, but I find myself going back to them because of their customer service and helpfulness.

They have the BEST customer service and they are so quick! Super honest and reasonable. I wont go anywhere to service my car.

So I went to the Honda dealership to drop off my car yesterday due to the drivers window falling, and the cable on the window regulator breaking. I just need a new window regulator. They said it would be a minimum of $150 to assess the situation. I got a call this morning and they told me it would cost $845 or more to fix the driver side window motor/regulator. I told them them no, and they said they could get a after market part and do it for $450, and have it done by Monday (4 days from now). I am looking at the aftermarket part and it only cost $66-$90. I understand that the parts department needs to increase the price for commission to $110-150, but there was no reason for $450 lol. I’m not that stupid. I understand labor was added to the $450. It’s just ridiculous to think someone would pay that price, and be manipulated by the dealership to pay that price. So I told them no, Ill just pay and leave. They ended up charging me only $95 just to say the door window is broken; which is better than $150. I called car care auto center and told them about my car, and they said they could fix it for $250 in a hour and a half. I just went there. They fixed it that day in less than 2 hours for an acceptable price. I would go there again. Also the lady at the desk has a cool keyboard.

I needed two new struts on the front of my vehicle.After receiving a $1,500 quote from dealership that I have been doing business with for many years I decided to call around for a better price! Car care quoted me $520 for two new struts with a lifetime warranty!! I guess I have been doing business with the wrong people all these years!! Thanks car care for the wonderful experience!

Im a paraplegic ( paralyzed from the waist down ), I will never get my car serviced at Car Care again !!! all I needed was to get the air out of brake line on my 2007 Ford Focus !! I just had it serviced at Farm and Fleet ! When Car Care got done they charged me $812.00 ! They replaced parts that didnt need to be replaced !! Front rotors and pads, etc. and when they explained what was needed to get my cars brakes working right they rattled of the explanation so fast that nobody could understand it ! I couldnt get to the Car Care and check it out because I had no way of getting there. I had someone bring the car there because it was difficult for me to get it there with my condition. Car Care took advantage of me !

Honestly, these guys are the best! Ive been coming here for years. Occasionally I would go somewhere else and regret it, so I finally just stayed with car care. Mechanics are skilled, Sara is fantastic, and they really go out of their way to help you. Overall great people.

Been going there for many years when I lived in Bourbonnais, 5 years ago moved to Orland Park, I still go out to Bourbonnais from Orland Park for oil changes and Car repairs, I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and they are the only place I trust, Very honest people

The employee at the counter was extremely rude. I had an appointment to have our vehicles air conditioning checked out. His first response was I dont have you down for an appointment, then when I advised him the car dealership was paying to have it fixed. He claimed he didnt know anything about that and proceeded to tell me they charge $80 an hour. I explained again that I wasnt paying for it, the dealership was. He then said very rudely its going to be a three hour wait. I explained I didnt have a choice. I called the sales person at the dealership who came right over. We decided because of the way this employee treated their customers we would take our business elsewhere. People work hard for their money and have choices where they can bring their vehicles and dont deserve to be treated in this way

Needed to have a front wheel bearing replaced on my 2004 Chevy Cavalier before heading home for spring break. I was able to make an appointment online over the weekend and get my car in on Monday.I was expecting to pay up to $300 and to have to wait a few hours for the repair, but I was pleasantly surprised when the bill was $170 ($100 parts, $70 labor) and it was done in less than an hour.

Will never bring my car back! every time Ive gone in to get work done, something goes wrong. went for an oil change n they screwed the oil cap on so hard it stripped the cap. and when I left from that my check engine light came on n car was stalling and when I brought it back they said it wasnt their fault. also paid for them to fill all fluids n they didnt.another time I had front end work done and the new control arm they put on was broken.

Sarah and her staff only perform work that is needed. If it isnt necessary she will tell you and send you away. This trust makes you want to come back when you have problems and thats what they hope for by being honest.

They have always done a good job for me. I would recommend them.

We were in Chicago for a graduation and lights on our dashboard were coming on warning us about the brakes. It was a holiday weekend and we tried getting an appt with several dealers and service station. We brought it into one dealer and they said the brakes are fine but there might be something wrong with the antilock braking system and it would not be safe to drive home. He did not have time to fix it and could not give us any more info. I found Car Care Auto Center and they got us in that morning, diagnosed the problem correctly and fixed it in less than an hour. We enjoyed the rest of the weekend and have not had a problem since. They were great to work with and were spot on with the diagnosis and repairs. The price was reasonable. Thanks so much Car Care Auto Center. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND. I wish they were in the Buffalo area.

Everything was going well until we had a problem with our truck. They said nothing was wrong with it when I would take it in. I ask to ride with the tech so I could show him what was going on and he took off without me. The 2nd time I took it in, I again requested to ride and AGAIN, he drove off with out me. When the tech came back, he said one of the spark-plug wire was burnt. I told Sarah then they did the tune-up. She was very rude to me and said, NO we didnt. After looking in the computer, she found it. After spending around 1200.00 for several repairs, I will not return. Sarah, you dont need to be rude to your customers when there is a problem with the work you do!!!

They deserve a 0 rating, avoid these scam artists. While attending school down in Bourbonnais, my car broke down and I brought it to them to get it fixed. Fast forward 2 months later, Im back home for summer vacation and the car breaks down again. I have a mechanic up here look at it and he tells me it was the same part that was replaced a few months ago causing the problem. I call Car Care to see if they would work with me since the part was under warranty. They tell me I need to have the car towed down for them to inspect it if its within a 100 mile radius. After asking if they would cover the cost of towing if part that they replaced was the cause of the problem they tell me no. I ask if I can get the part inspected by another mechanic close to where I live because Im out of the 100 mile radius and they tell me no again. After multiple attempts throughout the week to talk with the owner, he somehow doesnt have the time to return a call and is never in the shop when I call. Bottom line: CAR CARE AUTO CENTER WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK, ONCE YOURE OUT OF THE SHOP, YOURE SOMEONE ELSES PROBLEM.
