Loved it, I found everything that I need with 60% off. The store is very neat and organized and the customer service is excellent!!!!

Had to make a return and then pick up a few items for a new project. Customer service is exceptional and I was able to find everything I needed!

I do not write reviews often, but two EXCELLENT employees did a tremendous job helping me out a few weeks ago and I feel that they not only represented the company well, but need to be recognized. Shakiva and Nate spent nearly 30-40 minutes looking for a picture that I had dropped of to have framed. It was not where it shouldve been, but they did not give up. They searched high and low until they ultimately located it! Long story short it had been mislabeled and was under the wrong name. Both employees were patient, diligent and I cant thank them enough!!

I would give this store a negative 5 if I could. The shelves are always decimated, its impossible to find anyone on the floor to help you find d something. Seriously Michaels? Just close this location its obvious that you dont care about providing good service at this store.

Generally a great place to get craft and baking accessories. This latest visit they were just beginning stocking or rearranging the store so many things were off the shelf hard to locate. Granted I got there right at open.

Went there to find a letter board to announce the arrival of our new bundle of joy.. well needless to say NO ONE working there could help us. Didnt know what I was talking about, even after showing a picture of it from their own site.... Thats not all.. My husband FINALLY found it on his own and we went to checkout...get to the line and were standing there for 15-20mins waiting for a cashier to come help us.. (she did FINALLY come). Not sure why it took so long because going in we saw that there was 4 cashier waiting on customers when we arrived. They seem to have all disappeared. This place is a joke. Wont be going back there

I would rate Bowie a 4 because I always find great CLEARANCE, although Michaels is pricey. But, Bowie has long lines, more staff doing recovery or reshops, planograms. With a line down to the picture frames and 1 cashier.

Michaels hires the nicest people too work for there corporations! Every time I step in a Michaels (2 times a week)to purchase Cricut items, Im always meet with a greet and assistance! It feels good too go to a store, and the employees can give you the correct aisle numbers to find your products without an attitude, always with a smile!THATS THE ULTIMATE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!

Typical craft store with super friendly staff

The customer service here is very poor. I use their UPS drop off service to drop off two packages. Only one of my packages left the store. Who knows what happened to my package. My package was given to the store employee, Vondell. I returned today to inquire about my package, no manager was available to speak to me. The short, young lady with the dreads was useless. She said my package is no where to be found and I should call corporate. Only corporate apologize to me for the inconvenience, they open a case. Long story, short, DO NOT DROP UPS PACKAGES OFF HERE!! They will go missing and you will suffer a loss.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I definitely visit this location in the future.

First time to this location in a very long time since the pandemic. They made sure staff and customers were safe. So many creative items for a truly creative mind to work with. The staff was very helpful and kind. I will be going back.

Took a poster here to have matted and framed. Within 30 seconds of the employee handling it he torn it down the middle. To say I was upset is a understatement. No response by the employee or even a apology. I was so mad and shocked by what happened I left the store. Sadly this was a vintage poster that was to be a gift. Will never go back to this store again. CUSTOMERS BEWARE.

I come to this particular Michaels often. Usually the customer service here isnt too pleasant but today, Monday, May 17th, even though they were crowed I was immediately attended to. Then Vondell helped me bring my packages out to my car. He was very polite courteous and helpful. So thats the reason for me leaving this rating because of him.

Michaels has everything that an artist or maker needs,I used to get my supplies from A C Moore in Bowie and since that store closed I have been shopping at Michaels and am happy to find my supplies at a reasonable price here.The pictures are scribbles of fellow makers who were testing the colorful markers on the black shelves!!

Selection was low to average and prices have increased. Did make a purchase but not all I intended to buy

I placed an order for a picture to be framed about 2 weeks ago. When I checked on the status I was put on hold for 32 min. When someone finally answered I was placed on hold for another 20 min and still holding. Curious to see how long it actually takes for him to pick up. Customer service is awful today.

The aisles here are very narrow so even when its not too busy it feels crowded. They have a good selection of arts and crafts etc but are restocking shelves after Christmas. One thing is they always seem to be restocking and theres usually boxes/carts filled with items placed around the store unattended even though there are employees walking around. This location seemed more unorganized than others but you will find what you need. Cashiers work quickly to keep the line moving and are friendly.

Came here, and was very surprised to have some random women waiting in line cursing me and my family out which included my 3 year old. Threatening to throw candles at us and not one single employee stepped in to de escalate the situation. As a matter of fact when this women bragged to the cashier about what she did, he agreed. Absolutely disgusting.

The store is always nice but the wait in line can be excruciating at times. If you go in do not plan to be in and out. Selections are fine and competitively priced with other craft stores.

Michaels is a Arts and Crafts store with a variety of stock..if you are a hobbiest..this is your place to go.. unfortunately Michaels does not have a wide variety of Coloring Books.. I also love Crocheting.. huge stock of yarn.. Michaels does accept competitors coupons....

Great visit. The store has been reorganized since my last visit and its now very easy to find everything.

Prices were very deceptive. Sign for a paint said $0.99 for a section on a strip; then it was $1.79 for the next strip. Turns out that the $0.99 price was for just the one color that the sign was in front of. Very deceptive.

Custom shirts, TONS of flowers, jewelry, books, vases, mardi gras items, yarn, pre -made wooden structures, paint, wreaths, holiday items, straw baskets, model cars, etc. This is the utopia of crafts!

Help on the floor was no where to be found. And had a lot of stock missing. But overall a nice layout and lots of options.

Boxes everywhere, shelves empty, missing letters from package. Manager would not come talk to me about the problem I was happening.

I was disappointed with the variety of items stocked. It seems that they cut down what they have to offer.

The aisles were neat but they only had two people on the register so you waited longer to get out than you did shopping.

I love shopping at Michaels and I use my coupons and members discount helps a lot.

Granted its the holidays, so, many places are packed and understaffed. But I could not find anyone on the floor to help me and when I did she just told me an aisle number (like I know the store like the back of my hand). No direction to go in or anything. Also, stood in line for 20 minutes and watched an employee shopping for wrapping paper and yelling across to the very busy cashiers about how cute the Llama paper was. If I hadnt promised my daughter an evening of decorating stockings I wouldnt have stood there and tolerated it. But promises are important so there I stood.

First time ever there, staff was very helpful. I was looking for something in particular that I saw online for a gift for someone. Staff person told me exactly where I was right after I walked in the door.

Store was not really stocked to well, a lot of empty shelves. No store employees were on the floor helping customers. It was not really busy but no help, took me 20 minutes to find foam boards and glue sticks.

This is not a chosen place to shop for me a non-hobbyist but i married a hobbyist and we gave birth to one as well. So i often find myself in this store wondering why the hell is it so busy in here. Dont get me wrong this location has everything and more for a hobbyist and I am here routinely for birthdays, xmas, school projects, and wifely I wonder what this will look like. My only and major knock on this location is You Will Be In The Checkout Line FOREVER.

Tyler didnt do her best at all! As for the cashier, well he wasnt motivated to be there either. Ive never had a good experience at that location. I received a call from a very kind, professional and friendly Ms. Kimmel today and she assured me that the store manager was not represented properly, and she was right! I had the honor of receiving a call from the Store Manager, Mrs. Tierra, and boy is she a real sweetheart! She was like a friend youd know. I loved talking with her. She was so professional, but warm, relatable, had a great since of humor, a great listener, funny, intelligent and she loves her job and the customers, as I could tell. Mrs. Tierra completely changed the way I feel and I cant wait to meet her. Customer Service is definitely her strong suit. Ill come for a fresh start and spend with enjoyment,! Thanks Mrs. Tierra, I look forward to meeting you!

My daughter and I walked in Michaels looking for fabric. A young lady asked us do we need help. I said we are looking for fabric..She abruptly said we dont have fabric here in a very condescending tone.. As if we should of know that... I left but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Went into Michael’s looking for bees wax, fine glitter & pigment for my daughter. She’s doing a final project for her summer program. So, I noticed that we were being followed throughout the store by the same two people, one black with a mcm bag & the other was Asian. I pointed it out to my daughter stating its stereotypical that they both believed we had to be watched. As we too are black. I.told my daughter on second thought we’re leaving & will not patronize this store again.

I love this store! It seems to be always stocked and clean! The layout is pretty easy to navigate for most items and the staff is always happy to assist. The only downside is I think they’ve been a little understaffed since the beginning of the year (and I’m sure COVID hasn’t helped) so the lines are always to the back of the store. However, even with 2 Cashier’s they are able to move the line pretty quickly and are always friendly!

Store was very difficult to navigate and many aisles were filled with unopened boxes. I asked two associates for help. The 1st one said Make it quick, Im off the clock. The 2nd person who I approached was clueless. I was only looking for paper stock and some rubber stamps! Store was cluttered in some areas and empty peg hooks in other areas. Their only saving grace was the cashier was very polite. No reason to return. A very dissapointing visit!
