Comfortable shopping experiences. Price is good depending on your purchases. Quality of the products are good. Much more crowded now especially on weekends.
I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the team is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a gorgeous evening. warmly recommended.
If you are looking for a Filipino store with a great selection, this is the place for you! Its amazing how they are able to fill their small space with various goodies that will remind you of Manila and other places in the Philippines. They have siopao, tocino, longanisa, ube ice cream, hopia and a lot more! Worth a visit!
My church is beside here and my friends and I go there all the time, their snacks are very good and the staff are so friendly, even when Im a couple cents short.
I was searching for an Asian market to purchase items for my NYE dish. Once located the market (my GPS had me at someones house) I was greeted by the nicest employee. She helped me easily find the items I needed. The customer service was great! Although I have a market closer to me I will probably be returning here because it was such a pleasant experience.
I brought calamansi plant and is worth every penny. It has fruit already and flowering. The owner is very friendly. Everything you need is in that store. By the way, filipino cook meal is on sale freshly delivered. Yummmm!
Very nice small Aisan market, they had exactly what I was looking for.
Clean and organize. Friendly staff and fair price.
Nice alternative to Jumbo that is closer to home. Though a bit smaller, it has the basics Filipino staples. They also have money transfer through Vigo for the occasional gifts.
For its size, not bad. But it is a really really really really small store. Staff was polite. They have a $10 minimum for credit cards. They do have some fairly obscure Asian groceries, but very limited by size.
Complete items or more items in store and the sales persons are knowledgable and friendly
Really nice place! They let us use the bathroom there as well which was very kind :) kinda difficult to find but worth it
Nice selection of products. I noticed local baked supplies are replenished on Fridays. Best time to shop.
Hard to find but they have items you cant always find.
What a great store. You can find anything and everything you need or want. Very friendly and really relaxed atmosphere. Every time I go I feel like I am visiting a friend or family. My favorite Filipino grocery store in Maryland. You can find the store on the back side of the shopping center.
Well stocked! Some stuff they have that you cannot find in other Filipino stores! Will definitely go back!
Cool place and friendly staff. A little hard to find because you have to drive around to the rear of the brick building. Glad we found it though. Nice variety of international options.
Great place for oriental food supplies. A little tricky to find. Its behind the main bldg.
A great Filipino market with all of the favorites! Incredibly well stocked with a huge selection and very helpful staff. Its a bit tricky to get to, but the pictures say to go to the back of the brick building, which was very helpful information. Highly recommend checking it out!
Love this place! Best fresh Turon I’ve ever had! They have everything I need to make pancit! They also have authentic Filipino spices and marinades you can’t find anywhere else in the area!
At the first moment you arrive in this place the personel give you a good feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a friendly restaurant to pass time with friends or with your date. Excellent cooking, experienced chief cook and stuff, reasonable cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.
Great family owned place for finding authentic Filipino groceries. They even have balut! But the good stuff is the Nagaraya nuts. And they have plenty. Some interesting premade stuff too.
Palawan was not a well stocked Oriental market. The 3 stars was given because it was at least clean. Honestly, I may have expected too much coming from places like HMart, Grand Mart, or LA Mart.Let’s first start with, this market is not easy to find - located in the back of an off the road shopping center. After the search was completed it was unfortunate that none of the things I wanted (e.g. fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables) were available. The only positive is that a true Oriental Market will do well in this area because there is no competition.
Find the store around back. We missed it at first but glad we persisted. We are delighted to find this Asian grocery. The staff is wonderful: they devoted themselves to helping me find what I wanted and even some things I didnt know I wanted.
This store is a treasure. They have starch cakes I was so surprised and had to purchase them. They were tasty as I knew them to be. The young lady working there is very pleasant and helpful. I will be visiting again soon.
Great staff! they are friendly and the prices are good
Got many things with a low price.
Nice and clean very organized,,
I always strive to support small & local business if I can help it, but Lourdes (I call her Ate Des) makes it easy to come here. Shes so polite & the store is always stocked with what I personally need. Shes nice to my boys & switches easily between Tagalog & English so as not to make anyone feel out of place if they dont speak one or the other. Go support and while youre out there, support another local Filipino business and get some Gwenies Pastries (sister of Kuya Jas in Rockville) right by the register!
Great place, lots of items. The wife loves this store and the owners are real friendly too. If they don’t have it, they can get it. Not to mention, it’s clean and well organized. See you there!
Its a small shop but I love shopping there, very family friendly, stop by on Wednesdays and Fridays for best stuff and hot food.
Very friendly staff and probably the best selection of Filipino groceries in Maryland. The only thing they are lacking is produce. We have been to several others such as Manila Mart and another in Rockville across from Great Wall, both are about half or even 1/3 the size and seem to rely on their prepared foods. Some prepared foods also available here. I havent been down to Oxen Hill where I hear there are some other good Filipino markets, but this is the best place north of US 50!
Best price in town
Good service and decent offerings of good and spice.Look forward to going again.
Love this small oriental market. Enough to find your normal daily needs. The owners are friendly & very helpful. Is behind the building. Make sure you drive back
Great experience shopping here! The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, and showed me where everything was that I needed. They also had freshly made turon (like a fried banana lumpia) which was delicious! Be sure to drive to the back of the building to find the store. Ill be back!
Friendly very accommodating respectful above all always smiling
A very nice Filipino store. Friendly folks and a very neat, clean store. Store has all the basic needs.
Thanks so much... C u next time!

Very nice, greets everyone with big smiles. Lots of stocks, Recommend for you All to visit Palawan Oriental Mart.
Great service and selection of Asian products, store is hard to find you need to go to the back of the building
Great selection of Asian foods, especially Filipino foods. Awesome place to visit and purchase delicacies youve been craving to eat.
You can find delicious pow right here in MD. Yum
Small. Mostly Philippine oriented. Prices were good but the selection a little limited. Very friendly staff!
Lady was super sweet and helpful, I had trouble finding the store because it’s in the back of the store and the man who answered when I called was also very helpful
I highly recommend this place! Great selection of Filipino & other Asian products as well! Provides various services too — Balikbayan boxes; TFC; money remittances; lottery; groceries; lanterns (parol); etc. Made me miss the Philippines!❤️ I compliment Lourdes (the owner) for providing great customer service!🍰🍮🍢🇵🇭*NOTE: The store is at the back of the brick building. It’s open 7 days a week! 10 am - 8 pm everyday!
Looove it.. my peoples!! At an unexpected State of Maryland
Always cheerful service and delicious baked goods. My wife is happy when I return home with her Filipino favs.
Great little hidden gem.
Very friendly staff, good selection for a small market
Little tiny shop with a lot of items not found in many supermarkets. Love this place.
Small store with all the essentials including pan details sal, balut, and pork blood for dinuguan. Balakbayan box shipments too!
Excellent store to find items from the Philippines
Great selection and super helpful and friendly staff!
Tiny hole in the wall Filipino store with staple Filipino goods. Might be a bit harder to find as its in the very back of the building so you wont see it from the street or from the front parking lot. You have to drive to the back of the building where the back parking lot is to see it.
New management. Lourdes, the new owner was very helpful. Will do business again.
Filipino food and products. Friday is a good day to come for freshly cooked food are packed for sale..
Real talk dis da illest filipino store in Bowie. Yeah its hidden in the back of a strip mall but you know what they say you gotta dig for that gold you kno what im sayin. Best asian market. Must visit.
A small Filipino convenience store with all the Filipino conveniences! They have snacks, meals, frozen goods, some dried goodies, pancit ingredients, tocinos, red hotdogs, Boy Bawang, and many more...The store is kinda hidden.... youd have to find your way round back of the property through a wide alley way between two buildings and there it is... Its right next to a karate place..
Well edited selection of Asian spices and snacks!
Friendly staff and good selection.
All your favorite pinoy munchies are here
Very helpful and friendly staff. Hard to find
Desis Philippines Oasis in Bowie! I always leave here smiling😊🌴
Great people.
New owner. The store is small and yet they have a lot of varieties for Filipino cravings.
Very friendly and very reliable
Dont miss it--the store is located in the rear of the small strip of stores.
They had what I needed.
