My experience at Mattress Firm was excellent. The sales person, Ayo, was pleasing to talk to. Not only was he courteous but was very informative. I told him that I would think about the bed and would come back. Of course, when I went back it was his off day so I spoke with Abodeii. He too was very professional. After speaking with him, I decided to purchase the bed.

I visited this location on 9/2/21, and was greeted by Marcus Moody. He listened to my needs, and showed me several options to select from. He was very patient and knowledgeable and helped me to find the perfect fit for me!

Went to Mattress Firm today in Bowie. Had a great experience. The sales rep “IO” was great. He explained the products in detail and he was very informative and personable, but did not pressure me into a sale. Needless to say, I bought a new bed and I am very pleased with the price and service. I would recommend him to family and friends

My son and I visited the Bowie MD location store yesterday, 2/22/2021 to look for a full size mattress for my son. We were immediately greeted by Jason. I told him what were looking for, and with professionalism and extensive knowledge, he asked a series of questions until we narrowed down his best recommendations for my sons particular needs.Jason spent quality time with us, allowing my son to try several mattresses, explaining the quality, comfort levels, etc. before we made our final decision.Unlike other stores we visited before this store, Jason was very patient, engaged, did not try to push the most expensive mattress. He explained the qualities of those as well, he genuinely cared about our needs and was not satisfied until we were. His pleasant and friendly demeanor made for a great experience and us leaving this store very happy and satisfied. I highly recommend you go and see Jason when looking for a mattress or a mattress upgrade. The great customer service we received was top notch! When I am ready to upgrade my mattress I will definitely return to this store location. Thanks again Jason!

My experience at Mattress Firm was more than I expected. It was both educational and a pleasant experience with Jason and IO.It was very clear who Jason worked for, as he exuded with passionate for the products that he sells. It was a great experience as I walked in to gather information to make an informed decision and 1 and 30 minutes later I walked out buying. No pressure at all from either salesperson but patience and provided me with lots of information.

They have a very nice staff that gave me great service. Chuck was the guy that helped me pick out my mattress and we were quickly able to find a good and affordable mattress. 5 stars

Marcus was extremely helpful in finding my mattress! When I walked into Mattress Firm I had heavily researched many mattresses and I had low hopes of exiting with the mattress of my dreams. However, I was warmly greeted by Marcus and I told him exactly what I wanted. I was shown an array of mattresses at my price point and eventually it led me to the one. I felt heard and It was just an overall great experience. Would definitely recommend!

The manager (who usually works at the Annapolis location) went above and beyond to help us out. We purchased a full size mattress online and it arrived too small for our frame. The manager offered to accept our return and gave a great deal on a replacement mattress. All of our future mattress purchases will be through this manager.

I had a good experience buying my mattress here. Marcus was knowledgeable and gave me the space to make a good decision.

Terrible experience at this location. I asked CLEARLY several times if the quoted price was for EVERYTHING and we were told yes. We sat down at the desk and the sales man start typing in things and stated he was adding on a mattress pad. I spoke up and said there’s a deal for 2 free pillows and a free mattress pad. He took us over to show us the difference in the $140 mattress pad (that he added on without my consent) and the free one, and said he’d give us the better one for $110. I was starting to feel manipulated and said it might be a deal but it’s still $110 that you tried to sneak on the bill, no thanks. I was holding the free pad which was in a package as if you could purchase it and started to walk back to the desk and he YELLED at me to give it back. Then tried to make a joke about it to my husband. We sat back down and he shows us the screen which is now double the price of our estimate as he’s rambling off all the “discounts”. I told him there was a miscommunication because he had said everything we were laying on was $1100. He begins to ARGUE saying “no I said the base was a deal for $1100 I said that! I said that!”. Oh and the “pre approval” is a credit card WHICH I WAS NOT TOLD. There’s a difference between making a sale and being manipulative. I will NEVER go back to that location.

I have never had such a HORRIBLE experience at a Mattress Firm. It was absolutely astonishing. We walked in expecting someone to welcome us and want to make a sale, obviously, but a normal salesperson who listens to the customer. She straight up told us youre buying here with me because I want to be promoted to manager. Her attitude from the second we walked in was rude and aggressive- but we gave her the benefit of the doubt because we needed a mattress. She later claimed she was the manager (obviously not) when I asked who her boss was. During the whole time she kept being so rude and pushy and telling us that we werent listening to anything she was saying and throwing her hands up in the air. I told her exactly what we were looking for when we walked in, and then half hour later she makes a comment that she doesnt even know what we want and pushes us to leave but we wanted to buy the mattress! We were simply asking questions, wanting to compare differences between mattresses, to which she couldnt give us answers. We were fully prepared to buy last night- she kept assuming we are poor and talked in length about financing and we couldnt even get a word in her speech- but if she had listened, we were ready to pay in full for whatever mattress we wanted. We then produced a coupon we got in the mail and she started rearranging the numbers she had given us already - we asked how something made sense and she started getting angry and accused us of calling her a liar. At that point with her attitude we just said nope, were done, and left. We will be purchasing the same mattress tonight from a different store with a much nicer employee who actually listens to us and answers questions. Ive never had such a bad experience with a more arrogant, rude salesperson.

Just moved to the area. Checked out Mattress firm in Bowie after visiting some other places. I was promptly greeted by Ayo and he explained to me how the color system worked for finding the right firmness for a mattress. I told him my expectations in a mattress and he helped narrow down my selections. He also took the time to explain how the different materials, springs and series of mattresses worked. He gave me a GREAT deal on a extra firm mattress and I love it! I was also able to finance the mattress which helped spread the cost over time. ***UPDATE***After sleeping on the Purple for a couple of months we decided that it wasnt for us and at the 107 day mark decided to return it. The associate Harry Ulu fought us tooth and nail regarding having it returned stating that we are over the 120 day return/ exchange deadline. I honestly cannot tell you how many times I hung up on him. Finally, another associate from the Annapolis store, Chuck, ensured us that we were NOT over the 120 days and hell have it taken care of, which he did. We did get another mattress, a beautyrest, but from the Annapolis store.We have been considering and shopping for an upgrade to our queen mattress for a year- We originally bought from Sleepys. We visited 3 mattress firms and this by far was the best experience we have had. Frank was amazing and gave his honest opinion and worked with us as return customers. We decided on a Purple3 and will recommend Frank to anyone looking for a new mattress without the pressure. We walked out knowing that we got a good deal.
