The staff and mechanics were very professional and timely. They didnt play games like a lot of auto shops. They told me their recommendations and werent pushy. Got my truck running like new in a about a day from drop off. I will return again for oil changes.

They have been changing my oil for years and have always gotten great service. They always treat me right. One time I wasnt sure if my brakes were going. They checked them, no work was needed and there was no charge. Other places would have taken advantage but not them. Quality and honest service is what I go for all day long.

I wanted a quick oil change on my lunch break. It was a few bucks more than Im used to paying, but they got to me immediately and didnt try to sell me an air filter for $40 or tell me I needed a new battery for no reason. Priceless! Got my preferred oil no problem. Will be going back!

They didnt fix anything in my car after I already had a appointment to get a alignment but they sure charged me over $40 and letter me walk in the rain for 2 hours to fix absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were traveling Cincinnati to New Orleans when the clutch went out.we had packed the car as we asWe were moving. The shop did not have the parts in stock. And the snow was moving in so we rented a car moved the load and continued on our way. Leaving the car at the shop. And came back a week later. It all worked out as good as possible. The shop was very helpful arranged gor us to pick it up on a Saturday even tho they were closed.

Tech Tune is the only mechanic shop I would trust and recommend with my vehicles. They always go above and beyond to help, never pressure you into choosing an option you may or not want or be able to afford, and are very patient when explaining issues and solutions with less-than-knowledgeable customers (aka, me). They’re straight forward and always willing to help any way they can, even to go as far as giving professional recommendations and opinions on reputable car dealerships and rebuilt titles. Bud even did me the huge favor of helping me reveal the gender of our second baby to my husband! Although I don’t know everyone in the shop by name, I do know that they are all trustworthy and truly honest when it comes to the safety of your vehicle! 11/10, way to go Tech Tune! Dont do it. Find another shop. They only want to fix things you didnt bring the vehicle in for and MASSIVLY OVER CHARGER for it. Roadside crooks at best.

Quoted me $1,900 to replace the exhaust tube on my AC compressor and change my AC compressor. I told them I changed my AC compressor 2 months prior in which they acknowledged then told me I needed a new AC compressor because they weren’t completely positive where the Freon leak was coming from. I ordered the $30 tube myself and replaced it in 20 minutes. Extremely disappointing that this business is trying to over quote customers and assume that because they don’t understand automotive, they can charge $1,900 for equipment that I stated I had just gotten replaced.

Bud and the master technicians at Tech Tune really came through for us during a road trip. Not only were they able to quickly source the parts we needed, but they also fit us in on VERY short notice and knocked out the work in a matter of hours. We were also impressed with their work place -office and garage bays seemed spotless, everything is organized and they are incredibly professional. We feel lucky we found them and grateful they could fit us in.

Unprofessional. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment then was told after I showed up they couldnt work on my car. Waisted my time and was not apologetic.

Always great. Being so far away they make sure to answer all questions, provide alternatives if available and precise recommendations. Their payment system is easy for someone being 1500 miles away and they treat my parents with respect. They help ease the worry that comes with caring for elderly parents knowing my folks will get a fair shake. They are always sympathetic and understanding which is refreshing.

They did a great job with my alignment, I had lowered my vehicle and it now drives terrific. Pricing is very competitive. Keep in mind they do not have an indoor waiting area due to COVID.

I took my car here for them to fix what was important so they “did that” I paid 1000+ dollars for repairs and literally a week after I got it out it started smoking, shaking really bad and not driving over 65 mph. It seems like it’s way worse then before I put the car in their hands. Theyre way over priced for the quality of their work. Wouldn’t recommend unless you like having to pay for repairs every week. Then they were rushing me to pay and rude when I couldnt at The moment. One of the workers lied on the owner said the owner said I have to pay such amount now then I spoke with the owner jimmy and he said he never had such conversation with that worker!!

I stopped for an oil change and they wanted to use synthetic oil and refused to use standard oil in an 11 year old Taurus. I didnt want to pay 50.00 for an oil change and left.I understand refusing to use oil that would void a warranty and could cause a potential liability issue, but come on... 11 y/o and over 100K miles?What happened to common sense or a signature that they are not responsible.

While on Fall Break, my son had an issue with his car and took it to Tech Tune. Service writer, Lee, spoke with me several times (I tend to ask a lot of questions) and took time to explain the reason for the oil leak. Diagnosis by their technician, John, was accurate and completed in a timely manner. I forgot to mention that this was a BMW and not all repair shops work on them. I highly recommend Tech Tune to everyone! The professionalism shown by their employees was second to none. Their honesty and fairness goes a long way in the auto repair industry. I will be telling everyone to call them the next time they need auto repair. Lee and John will definitely take care of your vehicle.

I had my car towed up there because it wouldnt start turns out the brain of the computer needed to be replaced. The price was high but they fixed it. It was $856 to get it reflaahed. We got it back and it was overheating bad we went and bought our own fan and put it in and it fixed it but Im still having trouble codes pop up that have to do with the computer..we called and they told us to bring it in next week to see if it is something to do with the computer and they will fix it. Only thing that bothered me is they tried to charge $65 for an oil change which is crazy when you can find it waaay cheaper or so it yourself for about $25.

After taking my truck to a local competitor, I was charged for an alignment and sent away with my truck pulling to the right. I took it to Tech Tune based off of a coworker’s recommendation. It didn’t take long for them to find an alignment pin that was missing. They performed the work, and sent me updates via text, including detailed pictures of my truck, issues they found, and estimates of the cost. Very professional! Now it rides like a new truck! Thanks to Bud and Jimmy for a job well done!

Way overpriced!! They charge more than a dealership!! Called them and asked if they could change my inner tie rod, they said yes and quoted me 365$ including alignment and when i went there they said they would have to do their own inspection which they charge you 35$ so they did! After an inspection they said my both inner and outer tied rods were damaged and both needs to be replaced and it was going to cost me almost 600$ and it just way too much for me! So long story short, my mechanic friend today remove the tie rods, and guess what?! Outer rod was just fine, as you can see it on picture inner tie rod is bent, and this is the only part we are replacing!! Never going back to this place

Exceptional service. I have been getting oil changes at Tech Tune for over ten years and have always been happy with them, but today they went above and beyond. I had an oil leak that it turned out was caused by a loose oil filter from my last oil change. This has never happened and they were very apologetic for the mistake, so to make up for it they gave me this oil change free of charge, and gave me some free cleaning fluid to clean the oil spill in my garage.On top of all that, the whole staff wore masks and gloves my entire visit. At a time when some businesses are very lax in COVID-19 precautions, they are doing things right.

Jimmy and his crew at Tech Tune have always done excellent work! They treat you as a friend and always keep you updated with repairs, costs, etc. I wouldnt go to anybody else in town!

Friendly and fast! They performed an oil change on my class c motorhome quicker and for much less money than previous oil changes. Everyone was so friendly as well. Highly recommend them and will be back next time I’m in the area.

I was able to drop my car off and come back a little later to pick it up with it complete and ready to go. I like the fact I received a full on inspection of my vehicle and that they give recommendations of what it needs to make sure my car is performing correctly. I commute for work everyday so this is very important to me.

I called the other day and asked what the total price on an oil change would be if I supplied the oil and filter. I was told $25 plus tax. When it was time to pay I was charged the $25 plus a $2 disposal fee plus tax. When they put the new oil in I noticed that they put the entire 5 gallon jug in unlike previous oil changes when I always had some left to keep. I didnt think to much about it at the time until the next day when I checked the oil level and saw that the reservoir was way overfilled. I then realized that they never checked the level, they just poured the entire 5 gallons in way overfilling which is hard on the motor.

Jimmy and Chris are always honest about their work. Never had a bad experience there. I highly recommend Tech Tune!

Ive been talking my personal vehicles, as well as my company fleet, to Tech Tune for some time now. To date, I have have vehicles serviced here at least 20 to 30 times for basic repairs to major ones. On at least one occasion they turned down working on my car because they knew there was an extended service bulletin by the manufacturer that would fix it for free. Other locations have done the work and charged for it under the same scenario. They are honest and fast. All of their work is warranted and they stand by that warranty. Ive had my catalytic converter replaced twice under warranty with no cost to me for parts or labor. The issue was with the OEM converter itself and not due to the work performed. I will continue to use this repair shop for all my vehicles.

Honest garage which can be hard to find. Not the kind of place that just throws parts at stuff to fix it. Took my truck to 3 other places in town and no one could tell me what was wrong. These guys were a life saver.

Yes, they are very overpriced! But, they are nice, work pretty fast, and have always solved my problems. My car was overheating last July and i could get it worked on until September. They had it fixed in just a couple days because they had to order the parts for it but it had 4 busted heater hoses. Not to mention the last time I went in there about my air they were up and honest about what was wrong with my car that Midas had messed up. Unfortunately because of the maintenance price I can’t get it fixed so I have no air but they temporarily fixed it for me. It only lasted 2 days but it was nice that they tried temporarily fixing it for me. But I have never had a problem with them. Tech tune is the place to go in BG!

Today 3 Stars is charitable. I have been going to Tech Tube 10+ years. They are expensive but very thorough. Today the men in the bay were not the usuals. I sat at the bay doors and they did not open the door- they just stood there looking at me. Could it be that it was 4:30 pm..... I has to actually park and go in the store to ask if they were still open for oil changes which they were. As I was speaking w the desk the same men stood in the bay looking st me as if confused. Typically when I pull up one or other of the bay doors open and I pull in. I will not have my oil changed here again unless Chris is there. He always is professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. After today, I also will not use the mechanic department either. The customer service gave me little confidence as in the past.

A great place to go to if you want to get screwed. Dropped my car off at 3 pm, get a call 30 minutes later that they need to change my cabin air filter and engine air filter, among other things. Only problem is both of those I’ve changed myself and have less than 2000 miles on them. Don’t let them screw you and convince you it’s a good price, I’m sure if they reply to this they’ll say it’s honest work worth the money, but it isn’t. I went to pick up my vehicle from them at 4 pm, the same day I dropped it off, and my vehicle hadn’t moved from Where it was at at 3 pm.

I bought a vehicle and noticed some issues. I brought my Armanda to Tech Tune for an used car inspection on a Tue. Tech Tune Staff confirmed what I suspected the vehicle needed; brakes, rotors, rear CV axles and also discovered the ball joints were loose. Tech Tune was able have the vehicle completed on Fri. Tech Tune was slightly cheaper than Nissan Dealer, and offered 3 times the warranty on parts and labor. Im extremely appreciative for the quick service and customer service I received. I found Tech Tune to be a shop with integrity, which is hard to find anywhere these days much less at a mechanic shop.

SUMMARY: THEY ARE LIARS. THEY ARE OVERPRICED. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE.I highly recommend that you read all the negative reviews out there for this place. If I could give zero stars I would. I went in to get my serpentine belt replaced and I knew the alignment of my pulleys was probably off, so I expected to pay a little more than normal. They replaced the belt and tensioner which cost me about $300.THEN THE MAGIC HAPPENED. I (like a fool) trusted that everything was fine and did not check under the hood. That is until my power steering went out BECAUSE THEY PUT THE BELT ON INCORRECTLY. There is LITERALLY a diagram of how the belt should be routed RIGHT UNDER THE HOOD. So I took it to them and they had the AUDACITY to say the belt WAS put on correctly but my power steering pump was out and said theyd fix it for $505. I had other people look at the diagram and look at the belt to confirm it had been put on incorrectly so TECH-TUNE LIED TO MY FACE. When I went back there (because I was taking it ANYWHERE else), I checked under the hood and they had UNETHICALLY TRIED TO HIDE THEIR MISTAKE AND PUT THE BELT ON THE RIGHT WAY BUT STILL CLAIMED THEY PUT IT ON CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. They then charged me about $50 just to check it out after lying to me.Front desk lady was deceivingly nice. Take your business somewhere else.And I dont want to hear anything else from tech-tune so dont call me or email me or even respond to this.

A little pricey but they do great work!

I was in town visiting when our car suddenly developed a hard pull, grinding noise and other weird problems. Normally I do most all my work myself, but was stuck where I could not do anything. I had planned on replacing the front wheel bearings after our trip because I knew it was time for them to go. I had already replaced the rear.I chose Tech Tune based on the reviews and was not disappointed. They got me in quickly, and found it to be the front wheel bearings. ( No surprise, and yet another lesson in not putting things off)The problem had chopped up the tires pretty bad and they found the tires I wanted, where no one else in town could.Between the accurate diagnosis, quick turn around, going the extra mile to find hard to get tires, and banter at the front desk, I was very impressed.But...here is the kicker. They owned up to breaking a speed sensor while replacing a hub. And in taking ownership of it, they replaced it for free. It was not a big deal and they could have easily said that it just needed to be replaced. I know, I do this stuff myself. But they did not.If I ever need mechanical help in BG again. I am going to Tech Tune.I will say that they were a tad bit expensive. But my confidence level in their work is worth it.

Potty-mouth Robert sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee. His review could not be any more inaccurate. I found myself in an emergency situation traveling between states. No one else in Bowling Green had the time to help me that day. The female manager of this Tech Tunes understood my plight and made room for me in her busy schedule. What most people would have mistaken for low coolant and needing a Freon flush turned out to be three bad heater hoses that needed replacement. Within 3 hours, I was back on the road to my destination two states away. I am extremely grateful for this Tech Tune location and its superb management staff.

Got quoted online when I came in they changed the price on me they said it had to do with liability issues because it was required for them to do a full tire rotation when that could have easily been quoted on the phone. They will try to get extra money outta you

We were having issues with the air conditioner on our car. . We asked to have a diagnostic ran on it but unfortunately our car is too old. The receptionist was very kind and helped us through the process and answered all of our questions (and we had a few). We will definitely recommend their services to all of our friends and family. Its so nice to know that honest mechanics still do exist.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for an oil change and it was 360.00$$. they told me that my engine needed to be flushed out or I would have problems. I was back in on Monday to tell them that everybody I spoke with said that is crazy and wrong. They then told me that it is a maintenance thing and good to do but that is not what I was told on Friday. On Friday they made it sound urgent that I get engine flushed. So if you are a woman do not go in there alone. They totally took advantage of my lack of knowledge. I feel robbed and decieved and I will let everyone know what a rip off this place is. I will be posting on my Facebook next!!!!

Just had a very frustrating experience with Lee and Bud at Tech-Tune. My daughter attending WKU brought her car in, they diagnosed the problem and gave the news, $1500 for repairs. I checked with our mechanic at home, he said it seemed about right. Then 2 hours later they call back and say they made a mistake, it would be $2100! I called my mechanic and he said, Ive made that mistake before, but Ive eaten the cost. Tech-Tune owned their mistake verbally, but wouldnt even consider trimming down the bill a little from $2100. It struck me as arrogant and really not wise business behavior, but that is there choice. We are taking it to another shop.

Once again Tech Tune has gotten our van in tiptop shape, ready for the road.

Great customer service. We were staying the night in Bowling Green when we noticed an issue with my truck. We assumed a wheelbearing. I email Tech-tune at 12am. I recieved a phone call at 745 am to bring my truck in and it would be there number one priority. We dropped it off a 8am. They called at me at 9am after a full inspection of the truck and found that some of the lug nuts had come loose. They tightened them up and got us back on the road. It is great to know that the tech is honest and did not charge us for anything that did not need to be fixed. I was more then happy to pay the inspection fee. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Tech Tune for the first time today for an oil change, and Ill now be a regular customer. Excellent service and great people! The guys were efficient, friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. Very satisfied customer here!

They worked to get the job done quickly but when I got home the covering of my car had fallen down. I had to go back this morning and have it repaired. It took 30 minutes to put back together.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORSE ENEMY!! HORRIBLE SERVICE. I went in to get battery posts cleaned. They said posts disintegrated and couldnt be replaced. Charged me for the cleaning and installed a new battery. I was charged almost $200 for the batteries and the post cleaning!! But not before they gave me a free brake inspection. Scare tactics I was told my brakes were so bad I probably would not make it home alive. AND The new brakes would only cost $976!!!! I took the vehicle to another mechanic and had new brakes put on a couple of days later. The new brakes were around $400 I did not need calipers and rotors as Tech Tune tried to scare me into buying! 4 years later I still drive by the place furious. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORSE ENEMY!!! As a woman it was insulting to say the least. I was stuck for the battery as I had no way to drive away!! JERKS!!!

Decent price and quick turn around on vehicle

Ive been taking both of my vehicles here for about three years now, but these guys just cant be trusted anymore. I try to keep my vehicles long time, so I typically go along with whatever recommendations the mechanics have made and trust Im not being screwed over; however, when my truck was in the shop today, they called and suggested I need a new air filter, which I gladly agreed to. The issue is, on the way home I remembered that before I moved to Kentucky I put a K&N air filter my truck that last a lifetime. So at some point since I Ive been servicing my truck here, they upsold me on an air filter that, as mechanics, they knew I didnt need. If they did that with my air filter, it makes me wonder what other services they performed on my vehicles unnecessarily over the past three years. Time to find a new shop.

Friendly staff but ridiculously overpriced. Will not be returning for any of my vehicles. Told me it would be 2500 to get my a/c fixed when another mechanic priced the exact same thing for 900. If you have money to throw away then go ahead, as for me and my family, we will not be returning.

Have oil changes done here and always a good experience. Recently had an electrical issue with my 1938 chevy street rod. Several shops failed to find the problem. Took it to Tech and Tune and it was resolved very quickly by Jimmy. Customer service was excellent and the price was right. Thanks Tech and Tune!

I worked at Tech tune for a short time it was very high-tech for a independent shop it remind me of working in a dealership Jimmy is very thorough hes not a crook he knows what hes doing he may be a little High Strung but that goes with the expertise I have worked at several shops including my own and I have recommended Jimmy on several occasions I think hes probably the most thorough and most honest shop that you will find around the BG area the reasons I left had nothing to do with Jimmy I do think the place needs to work on respecting their employees a little better thats who makes the money and why I didnt give them a five star

Great customer service and quality work

About a month ago they patched a tire for me but did not put it back on my vehicle. It took a really long time and I was not impressed with the service. Now I am having problems with my brakes and tried to make an appointment for them to look at them but the girl on the phone was really rude and gave me a lecture about needing to have them checked right away. I know I need them checked thats why I called. She was very inconsiderate of my work schedule and refused to try to schedule an appointment around my job. I told her Id take my business somewhere else. I do not recommend this place.

This is the service center of choice for me and has been for the past 8 years! Before any repairs, you are given an estimated cost and can opt out prior to any work. For oil change and service, you cant beat em.
