This store is an arts and crafts store. Very similar to Michaels or AC Moore. Fabrics, sewing machines, painting and craft items, just to name a few things available here. The people working here were also very friendly and helpful. Even just to browse, an interesting store worth the stop.

Boynton Beach Florida store closess Earlier earlier than the time they are supposed to and when you come you can see people in the store but theyve locked the doors 20 minutes ahead of time. There was a lady at the register that knew we were trying to get in but she just ignored us. This just happened on October October 24th 2021 5:40 PM. I watched people leave and they come and lock the door after each person and it was not 6 oclock their closing time

Visited Joann in Boynton Beach fl, the manager named Deborah treated us so rudely, I was surprised for the first time in my life. People like Deborah dont deserve to work in customer service.I was shopping for a sewing machine with my wife and my 85 year old mother in law. As she has owned sewing machines and has purchased them all from Joanns stores over the last 25 years. And as all people grow older a complicated machine gets harder to operate so we were looking at getting something more user friendly for this senior citizen.Your dept store carries a user friendly machine and was on display. So we were looking at the machine to see it would work for my mother in law. We heard someone screaming from behind our backs and continued yelling to us about how we are not supposed to take them apart, we were only looking at how easy it would be for a senior citizen to use it, the manager Deborah came over and took the piece out of my wifes hand and said that we should be not touching the machines. If they are on display, there are there for people to inspect for ease of use. This store lacks customer service . I feelcompletely disrespected. And even more because my elderly mother in law had to witness this behaviour of your manager Deborah . There are ways to address people, screaming and yelling is not one of them. Noone deserves to be disrespected. Let alone your customers. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

We have not been to this store not once but twice at first we thought it was that they where busy hardly anyone in the store this morning we call again because of the north lake store in west palm beach was super with great communication helped us also found another store that had it on Record they had 10 yards of fabric in Boynton beach, Call to confirm and the rudeness we received is out of control. This is what we got what do you want then put us on hold comes back again we in the back and one in the front. So I decided to tell them about customer service skills and they where upset and hang up again I don’t recommend this location. Management please clean up this location or you will loose customers. Corporate please step in and review cameras

Manager was awesome. I had purchase a rolling tote at Joans Margate location, and wanted to retun it for a black color, which I found at to Boynton Beach location. Mines was a sale ($109 to $59.99). They had the black tote but was $119 reg price. Disapointed, while at the register the manager found out, she said You came from Margate? I will make it happen . Au..was so nice of her!!!!Thank you. Surely will refun to this store. Amazing service.

The place is huge and I know nothing about fabric. I ask and showed the first employee on the floor my list for my Toddler students. She tells me they have it all over the store and leaves me on my own to find it, after about 1 and a half hours later I take my items to get cut. Employee comes and ask me did I find what I need and I show her the list she says do you want me to help you I said yes please! I want to thank Earlene hope I spelled your name right for her help and kindness. The first employee need training on customer service she did not want to help and act as she didnt want to be there. They need more employees like Earlene hope I spelled your name right 😄

They have excellent foam at a great price. Made an online purchase for in-store pickup and the first cashier was very helpful and called when my order was ready. Then I needed to exchange the product for a different size the same day and the second cashier was equally as helpful. They both made an effort to go out of their way to assist me and thats well-appreciated.

Lots of different fabrics to choose from. Unfortunately, we wanted our fabric cut into thirds, and the saleswoman wouldnt do it. She said it was company policy. (And she wasnt very pleasant about it.)

I asked for the manager and SHE WAS THE MANAGER!!! I was floored. There was a guy leaving and he said “Yes she’s the rudest one in here.” I asked why he came back. Cashier was very Rude Russian or Ukrainian woman. I have only been in this store one time before the experience was ok the girl with the blue/green hair that cut the fabric was Not friendly or polite at all but that was fine as todays new working generation all seem to be this way... but today the cashier was not that young just rude, short, snippy my mother even asked her if she was having a bad day. She abruptly stated NO! Not sure if is her nationality or the store should just evaluate their staff.. As I stated in the store I will not be coming back here.

I was literally assaulted with my return by the employee named Deborah.I wont be shopping here again.

The employees at this store are AMAZING. I stopped in today to get some fabric and foam padding to create a pad for the top of a bench in my son’s playroom. I had no clue what I was actually looking for. A woman so kindly stopped what she was doing and helped me pick out the foam padding and fabric that would look nice but was not super expensive since it was only going in a playroom. Throughout my time there, each employee waved and said hi to my son in the stroller and were so kind. At the checkout, the employee saw my son wanting to hold my credit card so she gave him a little plastic card to hold instead. All of this may sound minimal but it’s so rare that you find good customer service anymore. This employees were amazing and really made my experience exceptional!!!

Its local, they have great sales, an endless selection of fabrics; upholstry fabrics, plain pillows of every shape and size so people can make their own covers, even foam to make cusions. Tons of gift ideas and craft projects. I love their assortment of hand soaps and lotions by the checkout. Only $1 each. Ginger pear my fav.

Went in to get some fabric tonight and Donald so called manager cut my fabric made rud comments to me about said I didnt have my mask on to his liking told me to get out was not waiting on me and called to police to have me removed.. there was a young girl with a piercings on her nose that made a big deal about also.. mind u it is not a law in dade, Broward and palm beach county to wear one.. I did have it on just kept falling off my nose and I was thrown out of ur store for it.. I shop in this store on a daily basis and have never been treated this way.. I do expect something to be done about it...

This is a nice, but small location. Cross stitch/embroidery supplies are very limited. Decent selection of yarn. Extensive selection of fabric with some fantastic deals on clearance fabrics, especially if you dont mind the end of the bolt. Ive always found what I was looking for in sewing supplies. It is usually running on a skeleton crew and the cashiers are not very knowledgeable about crafts or location of stock but the floor employees are a bit better.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Lady at the register was fighting with another customer across the entire store. And then proceeded to fight with the next customer in line shortly after. And no other staff budged to diffuse the situation. Disgusting.

I come here to buy fabric and they always have a great selection of patterns, most of the time it’s on sale. The ladies that cut the fabric are always pleasant.

I was ready to pick up my online order from the Boynton Beach Joann. I came ready with my confirmation and “ready for pick up” emails as well as screenshots of the order. Before I could even speak, the employee, Deborah, was rude to me at the register. After telling her the name of the order she halfheartedly checked the pickup and said she didnt see any yarn, not even checking for my last name. I tried to show her my emails and she ignored me, saying it wasn’t a receipt and wasn’t valid. My daughter came to see what was going on, as Deborah was raising her voice. My daughter then showed Deborah the receipt again and the yarn was sitting right at the front of the pick up orders. Without apologizing, or even acknowledging the situation, she made a scrunched up face and said “My intention was to give you a hard time”. Afterwards, as I asked to speak to another employee, Deborah cancelled my order. When another employee came to help me, Deborah came back to continue to instigate the argument and told us we had to wait 10 days to redo the purchase. The other employee was polite and took care of the transaction.

Bad experience today at Joann’s Fabrics Boynton Beach Florida, it was my first time buying a piece of fabric!!! And the african american lady who measures and cut the fabrics was very rude and bitter!!! I asked her are you the lady in charge of the, she interrupted me and said I am not in charge of anything as she pointed out the fabric I was looking for. Where is the customer service in this world..... without a customer there is no store and without a store there is no food on the table. How many people have lost their jobs and still people can not care less about customers or the job they suppose to do. So at the end i asked her how much fabric i may need for a top I was wearing and she said she does not know and she does not suppose to tell me, that she needs measurements and a pattern!! Anyway I purchased 2 yards, you do not need to be a genius to figure it out. The supervisor Elizabeth was next to her at some point and she could not care less about the situation....,,

On Sundays they close at 6pm. But they wont let anyone in after 5:40pm. The doors shouldnt lock until 6pm.

Great place to buy fabric. Some of the staff are helpful, some arent. Store organization could use some attention but otherwise pretty good. Prices on some items were excellent, others were a bit too high. Mall is being renovated currently.

Well stocked and great prices. The employees also have and will provide you with coupons- not sure if my husband asked or they felt poor guy with his wife here - lets give him a break! haahaaWe purchased a nice fabric at 40% off!

Excellent location, clean store, wonderful staff. This is a great place to visit for crafting supplies. Most of their stock is fabric related, but they have lots of other stuff as well. Lots of yarn to choose from, plenty of needles, a good stock of designs to work from.My only caveat is that they dont have Latch Hook kits. Been looking for the kits with the pattern printed on the fabric. Not here, not Michaels (oops competitor).Its a lovely store. Lots of parking. Take your time and enjoy, you may come up with a new idea!

We build sets and always need materials as well as arts and crafts, the stores staff is always helpful and I always leave with exactly what I need. If they do not have what we need a staff member has always been able to advise me of a plan B which has been so helpful.Great job to all the friendly staff at JOANNs

Went for my second sewing lesson. Took the 101 class. Took my own sewing machine and christine went through the basics of it with me. And then she taught us how to sew a small cushion together it was fabulous. Thanks Christine. Booking my next class today.

Love the app that allows you to save with coupons! They always have a good variety of things to choose from that will meet most of your crafting needs. They often have sales going on as well so I make it a point to visit occasionally.

I needed some help finding two different items. Two ladies helped me finding both items. Very nice to shop here.

Went in looking for an item and could not find. Ask sales assc and she took the time to look on her phone in Joann inventory and did not see it. I explained what I was trying to do and she TOOK me over to another area where she thought something suitable would be. After talking for a minute I did indeed purchase and will try it. So many colors, i got the thread and zipper that I needed and then walked around to admire all the materials. A playground of potential.

You have to really count to ten and use all of your patience when you deal with the staff in this store. I placed an online order for ten different items and received a voice mail simply stating, “call us about your order”. I call back at the next moment I am available to be told, yah? I said, “you called me, I don’t know what for, so I don’t know what I’m supposed to ask, yah”... (snarky, but I can give as good as I can get).... she then proceeds to tell me they didn’t have what I ordered and I’m taking too long they are going to put it all back. I’m sorry, you called me Friday while I’m at work and I’m calling you Sunday, my first moment off and now, the 45 mins I spent placing the online order is for naught, because I took too long? 48 hours is too long? You have my credit card, it’s processed and I’m told too bad so sad. Ok. Too bad it is. I’ll give my business to a store that needs it. Thank you too, nasty lady on the phone on Sunday, March 1st, 2020 at 445pm.

I really enjoyed shopping at this location! Its a bit smaller than some of the others, but it was extremely neat, clean and organized. One of their employees, Abby, was fantastic. She was so kind, helpful and patient. We could all use more people like Abby in this world.

The plaza where Joanns is located us under construction. Getting in is difficult at best. The store was a typical craft store. Because of the terrible parking situation, I wont be going there anytime soon

Im making a valance for a few windows in my condo I needed batting to pad under the material for the valance a much better selection of materials here than at Michaels. In the helping the store was excellent. Also if you need Fabrics that have tons of bats of fabrics to pick from. This is my new go-to location for these materials!!!

Not enough help to answer questions or assist customers. Fellow customer had more knowledge of the store than two employees I approached for assistance. She assisted me while her fabric was being measured and cut by an employee.

Worse experience ever today at this store. All for a .99 poster board which we ended leaving without. The cashier was slow and the manager was rude! There was no price on it so we walked back to see if any of them had prices which they didn’t, so we took a picture of the UPC code with price to show the cashier but she wouldn’t accept it. The manager simply says, “customers keep taking them out of the packages.” We told her we didn’t take it out of a package and her response was “I didn’t say you did” um, yes you did. I’m not going to stand there and argue over .99 item. I’m done with this Joann’s.... hire some staff that knows what they are doing!

Your employees need some training to treat the customer kindly.Especially the cashiers that constantly deal with your customer.I was there a couple days ago to use a discount coupon but the cashier tried all reason not to use any.I was very disappointed by the treatment that i received.This would never happens in Michaels

Not sure what his name was but I remember his attitude. Did online order for curbside pick up. They’re backed up days so i come in to pick up and get treated by the only guy working in there . Literally threw the fabric at me . Obviously Hates what he’s doing !
