Troy and Scuba Steve were impeccable. I have been working to convince my wife to snorkel with me, but it was a challenge since taking a cruise excursion that was not fun for her. They guys made my wife at ease and confident she could do it. They catered to her individually to get her mask and fins fitted. During the fittings there were lots of laughs and before we knew it we were all set. They have a great selection to choose from and are happy to let you try it all. I cannot thank them enough for the conversation and reassuring my wife she can do it. And the laughs!

I highly recommend Dive Florida and their staff; very knowledgeable and spend the time to make certain you have the right gear, especially for the masks as you absolutely need these to fit perfectly to avoid water seepage. This is not a product you can buy on the internet, only personal attention gets you the best mask for your shape face and head. They pay special attention to cleanliness and sanitize each mask that is touched during the fitting process. And they took the time to teach the best technique for using the mask in the water from surface snorkeling to diving; very impressed!

After over 30 years of not diving, had the AWESOME opportunity to complete a refresher class today with instructor Steve Buntin at Lake Denton. He was highly recommended by my brother who has been diving with Steve since 2008. My first concern was whether I would remember any of the skills and secondly the posibility of embarrassing my brother in public. LOL! Not only did I survive but thrived and was grateful to have the ability to get my feet wet . Steves knowledge, extensive experience and patience helped me to regain my confidence and would highly recommend him

Nice friendly dive shop, the person in the store was very knowledgeable.

As soon as I walked in the shop, I felt like I was a part of a dive family. Steve helped provide the information I need. We spent almost an hour talking about dive stories. As new divers he wanted to encourage us to keep our passion for diving. I thought we would leave there having bought BCDs but instead he suggested for us to rent them first, offered to help us weigh correctly at a pool or beach. Best experience at any merchant by far. Oh, and my daughter absolutely loved Steve. She called it the DingDong scuba store. Steve will have to tell you that story.

I went here looking for a good mask and snorkel and wet suit for my vacations. I was VERY impressed with the clerks knowledge of the equipment, there were some good deals and my favorite...a military discount. I was super impressed with the clerk giving me a call back with information on some used equipment that was for sale but pricing was unknown at the time. Thank you for your help and great customer service.

These guys are GREAT! Another dive shop in the area cancelled on me the day before my class started, so I called Dive Adventures and they enrolled me in a class that same day. I was able to do the online classwork right away and the next day they set me up with an instructor for pool work. I was given individualized attention and private lessons throughout my course. It was wonderful to have a one-on-one class with an experienced instructor, opposed to some dive shops where several people are learning to dive at once. The shop owner was so kind, allowing divers to test out gear before you buy it and the whole atmosphere was very inviting.I cant say enough good things about how amazing my experience was with this shop.

Becoming certified to SCUBA dive with Dive Florida was the most enjoyable experience! Troy, our instructor, was so knowledgeable and patient getting us to where we needed to be for certification. He constantly went out of his way for us, working around our schedules, etc. Before we began his program we knew nothing about SCUBA diving, and now feel comfortable going out on our own.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for the staff at Dive Florida. I have a son with dyslexia so reading and comprehending are a challenge but he really wanted to become Scuba certified. We were planning a winter trip to Florida so I decided to do some research. The first phone call I made, I called Dive Florida and I spoke with Troy who was so helpful. He reassured me that they would dedicate as much time as needed to ensure he was educated to complete proficiency. He set the timeline and expectations of the course and I built our trip from there. He then recommended the Casa Del Mar for accommodations because they use their pool for skills. Another win, Casa Del Mar was wonderful. Troy called when we were almost to Bradenton to touch base! I thought that was very considerate. Our first instructor was a Marine Biologist! Arrin was such a good teacher, as a younger person he completely related to my son and guided and repeated information until he understood everything. Our second instructor, Steve has over 27 years search and rescue diving not to mention too many certificates to name. Once again he was so thorough and patient. By the end of 5 days I am very confident that my son knows everything he needs to know to safely dive with us the next time we dive. Scuba is very rewarding but also has its risks. I have never been so impressed with a dive shop and their instructors as I have been with Dive Florida. They are simply the best, if you are considering getting certified I highly recommend them

I did my open water certification in June 2016 and chose Dive Florida from the internet so I went in to chat to Troy the owner and he was extremely informative.The instructors that helped me through the course were Troy, Leah, Mark and Bill and they were all so patient and would go over certain skills until I felt comfortable performing that particular skill so there was no pressure and I went at my own pace.I would have no hesitation in recommending Dive Florida to anyone who was interested in taking up scuba diving.Thank you Troy and staff.

Troy the owner is very personable and answers all your questions in detail. He is extremely knowledgeable in scuba diving and the underwater world. He will not pressure you into purchasing something you dont need. Go see Troy it is worth it.

Visited this shop while in town for a convention. Had just gotten my open water certification the week before. Was interested in picking up a BCD. Talked with Troy at length. SUPER nice guy. His recommendation... rent for a while to see what style and brand was most comfortable and NOT BUY anything until I was more sure of what I wanted. Troy could have tried to sell me on some high end BCD, but he didnt. Instead he was open and honest with me and what was best for me. I like that. He even offered to demo a set up for me, but I didnt have time for a dive on my trip. Id trust these guys with any of my diving needs. Ended up in the shop for an hour chatting. I Ended up not even making a purchase. But that didnt matter to them. I was still made to feel at ease the entire time. Wish I lived closer so this could be my regular dive shop.

After my evening request mail was answered very early the next morning, we did an online training, a pool session, two dives in the Gulf and two more in a lake.Both coaches were absolutely friendly, accommodating and always endeavored to support us. Overall, all three of us had the impression of being in very responsible hands.It was great fun and I would recommend Erik and his team immediately.================================================== =====My big sons and I have a Naui Beginner Course with Erik and his team.We all liked the service very much.
