I visited Buccaneer Pawn about a year ago. I had purchased a gun online and had it shipped here. Upon entering the store and looking at their gun case before picking up my order, I was shocked to see how awesome their prices were. They are amazing. Im not going to shop online for my firearms anymore. Ill be visiting Buccaneer Pawn instead. They had great ammo and accessories to and with a great price tag. Im going to go back before the Presidential Elections. Its a habit. Elections mean I need a new gun and to load up on ammunition. Biden already said he was taking our guns. He isnt getting mine.

Had great staff. Very friendly, great prices. Go to them. Huge selection of all diff kinds of stuff. Deff one of the best! I kinda wish i have been going there.

My husband and I went to buccaneer pawn today. What a wonderful experience. The people there are fantastic!! Very professional and fair. Prior to going to buccaneer pawn we stopped at value pawn. I would never go there again!! The place was dirty, the people that work there were disrespectful. Buccaneer pawn is the place for me!!! 🙂

I walked in wanting to purchase a handgun. One of the employees was cussing because there wasnt enough meat on his sandwich. I could hear him from across the room. That was as close as I came to making contact with an employee.Five minutes later a fellow walked in, looking at the same cases I was standing in front of and an another employee, who was chatting with unhappy sandwich guy, walked over and offered to help him find something.I must have been invisible! They seemed suprised when I just turned and walked out.Thanks guys! 5 minutes later I was at another shop, treated with respect - I purchased several items and will be shopping there in the future.

Been a regular customer for over 8 years never had a problem from day 1 good customer service and the prices have been from cheap to average nothing i have seen been overpriced the workers and managers plus the owner gets 5 stars from me the weapons are always priced right no crazy prices - ammo also even in these crazy days - I highly recommend this store one of the BEST STORES IN THE USA !!! 10 STARS - ALWAYS FRIENDLY !!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE business. Needed 3 days to make a pawn extension, called and talked to Jesse who said it was fine and that he would make a notation on my account. Showed up 3 days later exactly when I said we would to find out that they had sold 1 gun, another was on lay-away and two were on the shelf for sale. Jesse was no where to be found or contacted and the on duty Manager was argumentative and muzzle swept me with my own pistol and became VERY HOSTILE when I politely asked him to not muzzle sweep me with a firearm. At best Jesses word is absolute garbage and at worst they are THIEVES! Youve been warned, do business with them at your own risk.....

I drove here yesterday 06/29/17 from Orlando to pick up a new gun. Customer service was excellent. Great knowledge of firearms. While looking around I also saw better quality tools and electronics than at any pawn in the Orlando area. Wish they were closer Id be a regular!

This pawn shop advertised some of its bikes on Letgo. I messaged the seller about pricing and specifically referenced two bikes displayed in the listing photos. The employee went to check and informed me they were $120 each. I drove down to the pawn shop to take a look at the bikes and I was discussing the prices with the salesman who posted them on Letgo. I let him see the conversation we had on Letgo where I referenced those exact bikes and the prices he gave me, but he said he could not honor those prices and could not let the bike in question go for under $165. He stated it was a mistake, and all the pricing was wrong. I can understand that mistakes are made, but I drove from St. Petersburg to purchase the bike. Its bad business to not honor quoted prices, mistake or not.

Never been here but the one in Sarasota is Horrible. If you want a shop with 0 customer service skills. Then you will be fine.But,I suggest you go elsewhere.

I do all of my FFL transfers with these guys, never had one issue plus they only charge $10.00. They always call to notify you when ready and usually the same day it was received. Like any other pawnshop they are not so friendly but it all depends on who you deal with.They also have 6 months layaway at no extra charge.Know the value of the item you are looking for before walking into any pawnshop...sometimes is cheaper new.

Brought scrap gold or what we thought could be gold to Bucaneer Pawn. Assumed it would be a pleasant and successful visit due to the highly positive reviews I saw. As my mother and I arrived, one man was leaving which left the store empty on a Friday at 5PM other than the two of us. *Moments later, 3 more customers crowded in behind us*. We were greeted by the employee asking, What did you guys need?. This already made me feel unwelcomed and that he could possibly be irritated by our presence. Maybe he was having a bad day, which is understandable considering we all have them. We had quite a bit of jewelry to pick through and he carefully sorted the gold from the fake. Not one complaint about his precise job on identifying the real gold. This is totally my mistake, but I should have definitely educated myself about prices of gold before this encounter. With 5.6 grams of 10k gold and 2 grams of 14k gold we walked out with $80. After getting home I done my own research online, because you know, if the internet says it is true, its gotta be true right?! Well the internet told me I got cheated for approximately $50 after I calculated the weight on a handy dandy gold calculator I found while searching Google. Well, now that I am a little less knowledgeable on gold prices I dont think this is the location I would ever bring my gold and jewelry to again. Will take next bunch to a different location and see if I get different results. Overall, I dont hate the place but I damn sure wasnt pleased. Your experience, hopefully, is better than mine.

Im in this place at least once a week. Great deals on everything from guns to tools to electronics. They will always work with you to get you the best deal and welcome any offers. Also will give very good deals when coming to get a loan on pawn. Normally, going into a pawn shop can be an iffy experience. Im glad my friendly neighborhood pawn shop is not like the others!

I GUARENTEE THAT THIS IS THE MOST FAIR PAWN BROKER WITHIN 100 MILES! PROS...They dont sell junk & if the item is not working properly, then they tell you and not lie just to make a sale. Their staff is the most friendly and personable & they dont try to play games with you. Sure, they only pay a small percentage of the value of an item if your trying to sell it, but thats what all pawn brokers are in business for. (I dont have to pawn items, but when I did have somthing I wanted to sell, they offered me more than any other shop.) If you want top dollar for somthing then put it on the internet to sell and wait. Its the speed and convince that most people are looking for if you need emergency cash. So you have to sacrifice a little because your getting instant cash. But I mainly shop there for the deals and quality of products. Besides, the entire staff & even the owner are caring and are very good people! I can say this because unlike other shops, I can call them to tell them that Im going to be late on making a payment on a layaway and they will give me an extra day or so, what ever I need! They dont just hang you out to dry, they work with you as long as you keep your word and treat them fair. Remember, their a business to, and they have guidelines & rules & unfortunately people abuse their kindness and ruin it for the rest of us. Either way you look at it, once you try them, you might not shop anywhere else when it comes to pawn shops! They offer deals on everything and they even offer a layaway program on everything! I buy guns from them and if they did not offer layaway, then I would have never been able to own the collection Ive started now! I would not go anywhere else unless I could not find what I was looking for at their shop. *ALSO, WHEN IT COMES TO NEW ITEMS OR ACCESSORIES FOR WEAPONS, THEY WILL ALSO ORDER YOU ITEMS IF THEY DONT STOCK IT AND THEY DONT TRACK ON A HUGE MARKUP!Over the past 7 years, Ive done just about all my holiday shopping for mainly bigger ticket items, at this shop. Even when I go for a specific item, or a big ticket item, I end up finding a ton of other items & even small things that I just cant pass up! Worst experience ever in a pawn shop. And I usually have great experiences. So heres what happened. After waiting politely and watching people skip in front of me numerous times which I let slide,thought the employee would say something like this customer was here first let me take care of him. But noSo after waiting politely and watching numerous customers get screwed over on there pawns. For example one guy came in and had the cash for his car to get out. On the pawn slip was dated and signed he had until a certain date to come back. The man would not let the customer pay for his vehicle because the default date had been passed even though he had in writing from the owner that he had until a certain date. I dont know all the circumstances but I caught the jist of it. Anyways. The guy screwed him over. So I step up to the counter. After waiting politely the guy James comes up to me and asks what I want. I show him a near 3carrat diamond inherited down in the family. He looks at me nd laughs and says theres no way its real. Well it was. He tried to pull a fast one on me and pulled out his diamond tester now please know Ive been to several other jewelers and they all told me it was real.s o I tell James this and he tells me well I give you 50$ . I felt very played as if he were trying to slap me. I wlked out in a very disgusted manner because he said it was fake in front t of several other customers after I just said it was real. Made me look like a liar and a fool and a con artist. So I went to Tampa the following day and was able to get 7k for my near perfect diamond ring....I will never send anyone to do business there or go there for anything ever again!!!
