I have been a customer of ADT for 13 years. Over they last year my system stopped working properly and had a difficult time getting a technician scheduled. Finally yesterday the tech arrived late, and after working on the system for quite some time basically states the system only could communicate when sun was out and weather made it stop communicating both internally in my house and with ADT. That’s insane!Additionally I’ve had on going issues with Zones and contacts that won’t work. They’ve repeatedly sent me batteries which after changing still not working correctly. When the tech came he only changed the batteries again not replaced the sensor which I suggested when I made the appointment.My system has not worked correctly for over a year. Last night at 3am the system chimed repeatedly that glass break 34 was not communicating... same as it was before the tech appointment which took weeks to get.Today I called and spoke with a customer service advisor and requested 1) a credit for the last year of it not working and 2) a tech to come tomorrow and make it work properly, the answer was no to both. 2-3 weeks for next appointment. And offered me an upgrade but that would cost 2000 over 35 payments for the hardware and increase from 59 to $81 a month for monitoring....What???1) system can only work when it’s not cloudy2) supervisor ‘Mary” I spoke with said they’d only credit 2 month on new upgrade but still have to pay for installation and increased rate3) the new system would work in all weather as it uses different cell towers - so clearly they know my system which can’t communicate has not workedI cancelled and reporting to BBB and will seek my credit through BBB.Warning they are not a good company to work with and after 13 years will take my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.Worst customer service ever experienced by a consumer oriented company. Buyer beware.

Dont do it.Total scam. If I had realized I wasnt dealing with ADT directly I would have originally looked up the reviews for this company. I didnt realize ADT subcontracts with other companies and this one is awful. They didnt use the system that was already installed saying it was out of date and needed to be replaced when they just wanted to upsell a new system. Then they start installing right away, drilling into your walls and spend all this time putting in a new control box before reviewing the options and costs associated with the system. Also the $100 gift card to help cover the install and system cost is a scam. They dont tell you you have to apply for it. And apply within 30 days from a form they dont send you. And then you finally get the form after 30 days are up and are supposed to go get a damn cashiers check or money order for $4.95 to send with the form to get the damn card.DONT DO IT.

The technician who came to install it, Bob Foray, was superb. Actually when he came we were still in the process of selecting a system and company to go with and ever patiently walked us through the options, installation and secured an additional discount on the equipment. We decided to go with the ADT system to replace our outdated old system. He installed and explained the system well.

What I was told on the phone and what actually was required to install my system was incredibly different. Thanks to the sharp negotiations have an incredible man, Frank, we were able to come to an agreement He also was able to obtain two gift cards for me for $100 each rather than just one since so many things were different Even to the set up time

Beware!!! These guys dont identify themselves as an authorized dealer. They mislead us and lead us to believe we were signing up with ADT. Once we realized we were signed up with them we attempted voiding the contract which we were left no option to stay locked at 3 years. Otherwise they will hold you responsible for 75% of full equipment charge (over $1,500). At no point did they offer customer satisfaction even after we argued how unhappy and unsatisfied we were by being mislead! In addition, they offered a second keypad which we wanted installed by our garage door. The second keypad was installed INSIDE our boiler room! Go figure. Whos going to use a keypad inside the boiler room in the basement. When we called to have it moved, they refused! We will bite the contract because we have no option but buyer beware of false advertisement! Im contacting our attorney and consumer affairs first thing Tuesday due to the Columbus Day Holiday!

Called ADT to install a home alarm. They sent this company to install it. The installer did not install the system correctly, so it wouldnt work. It took 2 return visits to get it right. And best of all the first installer need my Budman stein, because he walked out with it under his jacket. Warning! If you go with this company count the silverware before they leave.

Safety first! The PYH representative and technician were highly professional, very thorough and explained all details to my satisfaction. Safety was the number one priority. Made sure I understood the recommendations.

The technician listened to my needs and then designed the security to those needs, he also took the time to train me in the technology. I really appreciated his patience with me.

From the moment adt was called to inquire about their services (Claudia Meeks - at the call center - gave thorough and excellent customer service) to the technician (Devin represented the company in a professional way as well as giving a thorough risk assessment, installation of equipment and training of the products) installing the products, the professionalism was wonderful.

Every week I get an email harassing from this company, Protect Your Home - ADT Premier Provider . They dont even have an «unsubscribe» link so that we could put an end to their agony! I wouldnt install a security system from these jokes on my neighbors dogs house!
