Wow! What amazing food!!!! The spinach pie was so delicious and fresh!! Such authentic food and flavors. You will definitely be able to taste the fresh spices and ingredients used. We stopped in while driving back from key west. She offered us a taste of the spinach pie and it was spectacular. Very very nice people. Will definitely be back when travelling this way.

Cute little store front but the real hidden gem is the hot bar/food in the back. We were warmly greeted like family and it was our first time there! Look at all this food for $25!! It is fresh, flavorful, and so good. Weve searched high and low for good mediterranean/middle eastern food and this, by far is, the best we have found. They even gave us samples to try! We took ours to go, but they do have a small seating area to eat in. Dont hesitate to stop in. Im mad it took us so long to try them!

The restaurant inside the market is super good. It provides one of the best quality mediterranean food in the area. When I got there in the first time, I wasn’t sure what to get so I was provided with some samples to taste. The owner and his wife are the ones taking care of the business, and they are amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Love it. Me & my mom go there at each 1 time every month. Saw how much it changed from multiple ownership. Since they build the new kitchen, store looks more cleaner, more food selection. Amazing and friendly family workers. Kind people. I Always get the fresh Pita Bread. Good prices in the store. Love the food in the kitchen. Out of all the food selection on Dish of the Day (all is good btw), I forgot what it call, but its the Gumbo with the creamy sauce & potatoes they serve every Thursday. I Love that one the most.

They are filled with either, Spinach or Meat and the fluffy homemade bread made me Swoon. Simply Delicious and Perfect for Travel. As we browsed through the Grocery Market I was very impressed and I decided then & there that this is a hidden gem and I will be back to shop on a regular basis. Came from out of town (Chicago) and looked for good Middle Eastern Restaurants to cater a small gathering for our hosts. Al Madina was PHENOMENAL! They had everything ready to go at the time we said we were picking up, and helped us to the car. Food was so fresh, and absolutely delicious. Special Thanks for the dessert (Kinafeh) they treated us to. Cant recommend highly enough. My friends were very impressed, Im glad they found a great Middle Eastern restaurant near by.

The food is amazing! I drove from the westside of Tampa on a hunch the food would be good (well the photos and previous reviews helped) and it far exceeded my expectations!! The owner made the experience even better. Such a nice man who takes pride in providing the freshest food cooked to perfection. I will be making a trip back on a regular basis.

I come here on a regular basis. They have a daily special that’s off the menu. But the zucchini and green leaves are my favorite off the menu. They have good falafel and delicious hummus all the food its 😋, I feel we are lucky to have a restaurant like this in the area

This comment is limited to grocery store part and is to thank the staff/owner of this business for introducing me to ‘Seven Spice’ blend and to urge you all to try it with chicken and (even though I have no experience at this point in combining it) with any other protein I suspect it would make a delectable lamb, pork, or even beef dish. The rest might me TLDNR but this is a very clean and well stocked store I haven’t visited in its “new” location until this weekend. I visited because I could not find “Za’atar” in any Brandon supermarkets but had seen recipes that used this spice without specifying what kind of Za’atar was meant to be used. Perhaps there’s one that’s made its way to mainstream elsewhere and is readily available in supermarket shelves somewhere in America? Word Za’atar apparently just means spice blend. ‘Seven Spice’ blend that was recommended to me definitely was a new and delicious way to season chicken I was looking for. I also tried a spice blend actually labeled “Za’atar” – using it as recommended; mixed with olive oil, to dip bread into, and that was another delicious experience.

Oh my word!!!! Dropped by on a Friday evening to pick up some dinner to take with me. I am SO happy I did. The team working at the deli were incredible! Very warm and welcoming. It is very clear they are passionate about their food. Now, on to the best kofta and shwarama I have EVER had. The hummus is wonderful, the pies are amazing, the falafel is out of this world. There us literally nothing I have had here that was bad. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Everything looked so good that I didnt know what to get! I had the chicken shawarma sandwich and my daughter and the beef shawarma platter. Eating it 11 out of 10! The food was fresh and made to order. The owner even gave us samples of other foods and I cant wait to go back and get the falafel, kofta, and the kabob! The hummus and pita were delicious as well! Super yummy take out food in the back of the store (pita with stuffed meats was so tender and flavorful). Very good selection of products. Homemade fresh pita breads and tons of cheeses. Baklava is amazing. Ive eaten A LOT of baklavas in my time and this was one of the best. Seriously, not overly sweet, very crispy (layers are not so compressed that it becomes overly dense) with the perfect amount of pistachio filling. Friendly service, very clean store and everything is organized in a way the OCD person in me appreciates. Owner was very generous and gave us free baklavas to go as 1st timers in the store. I will be back for sure.

The grocery is great but the restaurant some food are good some are bad but they think it’s good . Also every time I get shawarma here all the stuff inside comes out coz they don’t wrap it properly. Just as other places think once you can cook they think it’s god for restaurant. The clear water mirage is good restaurant Mediterranean but this one sucks . I had 3 times that’s it never coming back . 😡😡😡

The best Turkish coffee and authentic food, including gyros. They have a lot of items from the Middle East, not only food products. They’re also the only place that I know of in the Tampa Bay Area that I can get my son’s favorite peanut butter puffs. Lovely staff who is very helpful if you have any questions.

I discovered the best Brandon/ Tampa halal grill! They make fresh falafel, kofta and beef chimichurri (which was the best I’d ever had!)! They made me an over stuffed platter box of their chicken shawarma (so well seasoned and full of flavor!), hummus - again probably the best I’ve ever had and pita to eat it on!!! The platter also came with a 2nd side and I chose the traditional fattoush (Middle Eastern chopped salad) to round out my platter. They also sent me off with a very generous portion of the falafel I watched them make and an accompanying tahini sauce- chefs kiss!What a find this place it! It truly blows any other place in Brandon that serves hummus OUT OF THE WATER!!!!

Wife has been shopping here for many years.According to her the place has gotten cleaner after the new owners. That being said we have been disappointed in 2 different occasions with their Holy City Pita Bread.They got black mold in 1-2 days after coming home. One has to wonder how old are they and whats in them. I have never seen that with any other bread. We do also make bread at home as well and buy from different stores. It is a pain to back to Brandon just to return the bread back since we dont live that close. So, the bread ends up being trashed.

Its been a struggle to find a decent middle eastern store and restaurant in the area. Well Ill tell you this, that struggle is over. This place is simply the best. The owner is so kind and generous, the restaurant in the back is just amazing. The offerings in the store took me back to when I lived in the middle east when I was younger, and when I was deployed overseas. All the best food selections you could possibly imagine...and the sweets, err mer gerd!!! They are to die for. I try to get up to this store everytime Im in the area.

I love the grocery store and the restaurant. Since the remodel by the new owner, the store looks clean, sleek and inviting. It is also very well stocked and the prices are very reasonable.The new restaurant is also much larger and the menu has been significantly expanded to include a good selection of authentic middle eastern food. The chicken shawarma and falafel are to die for.The cook and staff are awesome and always very helpful. I work close by and I usually have only 20-30 mn for much. I call ahead with my order and the food is always waiting for me with a smile.

Man when I tell you waiting for the remodel of the kitchen was definitely worth the wait it looks so amazing inside this establishment I am always satisfied and impressed with the home family made fresh food I give this place 10/10 definitely will be recommending anyone here for they great food service and products here if you like culture food this is the place to go

Went into this place to grab a quick bite, staff was friendly. Went to go pay for my food and the card reader wasnt working, after a few attempts they said I can just have it for free. My total was about $14, I ran to the closest ATM and paid them and Im glad I did because the food was that good. Im definitely going back for future meals. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place.

Middle Eastern grocery store in Brandon. You can find grocery items there you wont find anywhere else in Brandon. They serve a few grill items and bakery items. Their gyro is probably the best in Brandon.

The food is really inconsistent, it ranges from mediocre to amazing depending on who is cooking. I really wish this place had consistency.Edit:Madina is awesome. They really found that consistency they needed. Everything is delicious and cooked to perfection. And with Ramadan around the corner, I know what Im getting for Iftar :)

I am new to the area, and I have been happy to find a few places that sell my favorites from back home. I have found the food from here fresh and delicious with only one exception. I will update the review with time, but it is firm 4 stars so far and really, quite good.

The falafel, hummus and babaghanoush are amazing. The hummus is full of complex and bright flavors, infinitely better than regular grocery store prepackaged mush. And the eggplant is smoky, tangy, creamy, wildly delicious. Prices are reasonable, the people are friendly, and they can COOK!

Delightful little gem of a store! I bring friends here that I know will appreciate the subtleties of the deli selections. Its one of my favourite stops. Also, make sure to pick up some of the freshly baked pita bread when they have it available. They have their own brick oven on site and bake it in-house. Small, family run place and everyone is so wonderful.

This place is a very clean, locally owned Middle Eastern import grocery. They use domestically sourced halal goods whenever possible. The prices are reasonable.

It is difficult to choose from myriad menu options, but whatever you decide to eat, you will not be wrong; even picky kids will clean their plates. Friendly staff, and the grocery area definitely boasts quite a selection to browse. Take the road less traveled by; its a couple of blocks from the main drag, and an exotic yet affordable culinary destination.

Worst falafel ever!! I heard about this place and was told the food was good. I ordered a six piece falafel and it was super super salt. I could only eat the bite I took. It was inedible. I was so disappointed.

You can find most of the middle eastern grocery here. I love their mini beef pizza ( sfee7a) they’re are delicious. Also very friendly staff and very helpful. Only problemI have with going here is you i comeOut smelling like I been cooking all day. The ventilation of that place is horrible. I pray they do Something to fix it. You might not think is a big deal but let me warn you, you will comeOut smelling like a kitchen so make sure you going straight home. Prices are decent, not too much different than other places in Tampa. Despite my clothes smelling, I still go there for all my Arabic groceries.

Great spot for delicious middle Eastern food! I had the chicken shawarma and picked up some pita and hummus to take home with me. If you come early enough, the bread will still be warm from the ovens... I definitely recommend visiting!
