Creative Carpeting is a great store to deal with. The owner Chris is very knowledgeable and attentive to his customers. We had to keep changing our installation date but Chris was very easy to work with and always returned emails promptly. His installation crew was very professional and courteous. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Chris is very easy to work with and did an excellent job with the floor in our 2018 basement remodel. Chris patiently discussed all the options (pros and cons of different flooring types) for basement flooring with us, had a good sense of design and color, recommended a very nice product for the floor, and the installation was finished on time and on budget.As with all basement projects, particularly in older homes, there were a few issues with the space itself but Chris proved very resourceful in addressing these with creative fixes. In addition, in order to address some post-installation concerns we had, Chris came back several times and spent a considerable amount of (his own) time making sure we were happy with the results.We were quite happy with his work and his extra effort on our behalf and as you can see from the pictures the results look super. We would recommend Creative Carpeting without reservation to anyone seeking a company for a flooring project.

We acquired bids from three different providers. An independent Mohawk Specialty carpet store, The Home Depot and Creative Carpeting. We decided to go with Creative Carpeting primarily due to a recommendation from friends and the competitive bid. Not the cheapest but much less than the specialty store. We had to order the carpet so that took about five days. Chris team came in and removed the old carpeting in one morning and had it replaced most of it about 2.5 days. (1900 sq. feet!). While the installation didnt go perfectly (the mill shorted their initial order by 15 linear feet). They communicated with us every step of the way, were efficient, skilled, polite and very careful as they removed and installed the new carpet.I highly recommend Creative Carpeting and will use them again in the future should the need arise!

True professionals. They made themselves available to review samples and recommendations for the right carpet, in the right place. Their knowledge was super helpful for the regular homeowner that doesnt know much about carpet. Having such a large variety can be overwhelming, so leaning on them guide our decision helps! Installation crews were polite and they worked quickly and did a fantastic job. I would recommend this company to anyone over. Prices were very competitive also. Thank you so much A+!

100% recommend! Customer service is great! Quote was competitive with big box stores! Quality was superior!We checked out Home Depot and Lowes first, thinking that would be the easier/cheapiest. Well Lowes New Haven customer service was a nightmare. Cant speak for any other store but that was awful. Home Depot Hamden was fine to work with but nothing to write a review about. Didnt have a single point of contact but it was the standard call this 800 number. While talking to a contractor friend, he convinced us that we should look for local company. At first I wasnt sure because Home Depot had free installation promo and I didnt want to waste anyones time when I knew cost was a main priority. But I agreed to look anyways.Well as soon as I got in touch with Creative Carpeting, I didnt look back. Chris was my main point of contact through the whole process. He was human and willing to answer any questions I had that came up at any time. Not to mention he completely worked with me to reschedule my installation after unforeseen circumstances in my personal life. He also worked with me to find the best price for what suited my needs. And believe it or not the final cost basically matched what Home Depot quoted with free installation and I feel like I got better quality carpet through Creative Carpeting!The installation crew was kind, courteous, and clean. They took care of our house and our belongings that they had to handle. What more can you ask for!Such a pleasure to work with Chris and his crew! I have a always assumed things are cheaper through those big names... but Im glad we were pushed to look elsewhere, and Im glad we found Creative Carpeting! Even if this was more expensive, it would have been worth every dime!

Chris and his team were fast, professional, reasonably priced, and absolutely on the mark in every way!After a fire in the kitchen of our condo, we needed to replace the burned vinyl flooring. We decided while we were having the work done anyway, wed replace the carpeting throughout the rest of the condo with wood laminate.After waiting for several weeks for the rest of the kitchen cabinets and appliances, we were very pleasantly surprised with how quickly the flooring was installed. Not a single detail was overlooked including the deep recesses of the closets and the trim around the hot water heater pan in the utility room! When they were finished, there was no trace that anyone had been doing any flooring work in the condo...except of course for the beautiful floor!Great job!
