You will generally have someone come out to your house when requested, however be very vigilant about checking easy to fix issues before requesting a visit. I have been using this company for over 25 years and customer service has seriously declined. A visit is $100 plus tax for them to come. I am not debating the cost, it is just that some problems could be resolved with a quick 3 question survey (i.e. battery check, electric connection, door on the track or photo eye adjustment). They were so rude and said that “ life is too busy for them to ask questions” and put people “in danger “ by having them check their equipment. This IS NOT providing customers with service-it is taking advantage of people by adding charges that could be resolved over the phone. It gives you a bad feeling to want to look toward another competitor when choosing electric garage doors. Buyer beware!

The worst company out there! I receive horrible service on a new motor and door install the motor fell out of the ceiling and went through my car windshield and the vertical track the door goes up on pulled out of the wall, called Jose and specifically stated what happened and he said not his problem and that we probably touched something. Stay far away from these people, they are the scum of the earth.

The torsion spring broke on one of our garage doors and a I contacted Advanced Overhead Door to set up an appointment for replacement as soon as possible. They arrived within 24 hours, on-time and the door spring was replaced quickly and at reasonable cost. As a 20+ year customer, we have always received quality service and parts and it was nice to see that their service excellence remains at a high level.

I happen to run into this gentleman at a hardware store. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation and told me that we needed a whole new door. Not only did he not do that but he was extremely professional. This is definitely the company I will be using moving forward for any and all problems that I have with a garage door.

I chose this company based on the confidence Dan made us feel that what I thought was extensive job seemed like a piece of cake. I had 3 different estimates for servicing the doors but theirs seemed favorable.The tech sent out was very knowledgeable and professional. He got all the issues sorted in a short while and we were back to our daily business

I made an appointment for a quote. When no one showed up, I called. I was told the salesperson was delayed, but Id receive a call telling me how long he might be delayed or whether he could make it at all, so I wouldnt be further inconvenienced by waiting even longer. Never got a call. Waited. Wasted my time. Never got a quote. Horrific customer service. Should get zero stars. Cant do any worse.

Our electric garage door was installed by the previous owner -- it went out of whack on our watch, and fortunately there was a sticker on it for the folks who put it in, Advanced Overhead Door in Branford. I called after hours and left a message -- got a call back first thing -- the representative was very nice and professional and explained the pricing and availability -- even though this happened during the holidays she found a way to squeeze my service call in for the following day for which I was grateful. The technician who came, Jose, happened to be the manager -- he arrived on schedule, totally prepared, personable, skilled, knew his stuff, got right to work and corrected the problem quickly and efficiently. Unasked, he also did routine maintenance, checked everything top to bottom and fixed a loose hinge. He was terrific! I will surely use them next time and highly recommend. Thanks Jose!

Had them replace 2 oh garage doors doors rather than DIY. Very happy with response to my inquiry and the quality of the materials and the workmanship. The installer cleaned up after the work and took the time to explain the operating and programming features.

Stood in the lobby and waited for a few minutes. After about 5 minutes (I could hear people just talking) I began to say hello. After 10 minutes I said it louder and got someones attention. I wanted to know the cost of installing two new garage doors. I get told to look at the displays but they wouldnt be able to help me with pricing!! Pricing is what I wanted to know! Not colors, Windows, materials but pricing. Why have an open showroom not give your employees the knowledge to help customers.
