I strongly suggest this dealership for Cascadia owners that have DT12 transmissions and need maintenance done.
After trying to find a shop in the Bristol/Hartford area with no luck I called Black Rock in Branford and Angie and Ed were very helpful. They got us in the same day, determined the problem and scheduled the repair.

The manager was extremely understanding and did everything he could to help us out and we truly appreciate it !! I was first told that my windshield could be replaced on Wed afternoon so I can get started first thing Thurs morning. Then changed to replacing it Thurs completely messing up my schedule and I lost my weekend off. No problem as long as they get home on time.

Great dealership, pricey as most are. They always get me in, in a timely fashion. Parts usually has what I need. I highly recommend making an appointment for service. There is a hotel close by if needed.
I called and asked for a tube of gasket maker. The woman I spoke to over the phone said she had one that was $10. When I got there she pointed to the $30 items she had on the shelf, take it or leave it. I walked out.
Bad experience with this shop very Bad communication they liar went you call for add date in the repairs if you want to lose money take here is first and last time that I bring my truck here job that supposedly by for 2 day take them a week in this business you dont need a shop like this place im so disappointed

Thursday morning to monday afternoon to change some dpf filters. What makes matters worst is that the people in the front service department arnt straight forward.
I always go to this dealer before I never had a problem. Now everytime I go get parts I always have to wait at least 45 minutes for the lady to find what I need and when she does find it is probably the wrong part. One of my trucks couldnt work today because yesterday I was at the dealer and I was given the wrong part. Im not a mechanic and if I come to the dealer with the vin number and tell you what I need thats what I expect to get not something that wont fit my truck. I got there around 530 yesterday didnt leave until 624 by the time I made it back to my yard the dealer was closed.I wouldnt mind if it was the 1st time but as of yesterday it was the 3rd time in a week. This problem needs to be solved Asap give the lady more training or get someone next to her that knows what they are doing is costing your customers time and money

Worse place i haved serviced my truck in. Rude, unprofessional and liars. Nobody knows whats going on with the truck. All i needed was a PM and steering bushings to be looked at and they come out that kingpins needed to be replaced on both steers. Approved the job under warranty but kept the truck 10 days. Took them 1 week for parts to come in, I called on 10th day and said they took truck on a road test, 1hr later then they needed to finish up paperwork. I got tired and went there and they tell me starter needs replacement. I went and turned on the truck and no issues then i tell them theres no issues and supposedly starter making a noise and batteries low and need to be replaced, i turned truck on 5 times back to back and no issues and batteries were low... ummm maybe cause its been sitting for 10days?? They need to replaced all of them and have some more honest employees.
I took my truck there for check engine light and the def Amber light on they gave me a quote of 4,000 dollars to fix it so when they was driving it on there yard to put it in shop they said it cut off and wouldnt start back they said it was 1 injector went out but didnt know which on so they wanted to change 6 injectors that run the bill up to 11,000 dollars they lied and said that they had already did the Def and said that was the reason the injector went out well I called a mechanic in NC where Im from and he said when a injector goes out the truck will have a miss to it it wont just cut off like that and plus they got the equipment to track down which injector is bad so they lied to me and put me out of business the company Im with was going to pay it for me and I was going to pay them back but it was me that didnt wont to pay them I went up there to try to crank the truck and found out that they didnt do anything to it like they said so I told my company not to worry about it cause I wasnt paying them 11,000 dollars they are crooks my advice is stay away from them they dont know what they are doing and they are liers well Im out of business now and I do blame them I had to go get a rental car and clean my truck out that truck was running fine when I took it there IM DONE I hate it but I had to give a 1 star before I could post this they dont deserve a star they put me out of business crooks is what they are
Hey, thanks Richie in Miami for the poor review. Lets clear up a few things you left off. You came in 6/22/17 for a transmission issue, and we found the Transmission Controller (TCU) was full of corrosion. Not to mention, your DPF has been bypassed, (A FEDERAL OFFENSE) your turbo resonator had screws and silicone sticking out of it, your EGR Crossover pipe has been removed and bypassed, (YET ANOTHER FEDERAL OFFENSE) etc. Your van was a complete roach and had not been serviced in a very long time. We fixed a problem we found the with TCM, which was legitimate. It is highly likely that the corrosion we found in the TCM caused internal transmission damage but since we dont have X Ray vision, we missed that. However, your transmission didn’t start showing symptoms until a month later. Since were law abiding citizens and fans of clean air here, we passed your contact information along to the EPA with proof that you had attempted to defeat an emissions device. Safe travels RIchie.

UNPROFFESSIONAL, RUDE & SABOTAGE. When I declined their offer to replace DPF filter on my 2013 Freightliner Cascadia, which within my right as the owner, they RETALIATED by accessing engine power setting to cause the truck to lost power on uphill, I found out because I took truck to another dealer in NJ when they had to reset RPM. Besides, the truck was in for whole week for ParkSmart APU which they never properly fixed.
Very bad dealer I am talking about Part and service desk staff.. they play smart but the the very rude and stupid, they do not trade people nice. Do not stop for part if you can go farther..

Charged me $1200 for a TCM then 3 weeks later told me I needed a new transmission and that it cos $9400! Sorry, this place is not the place I would have my vehicle repaired at!
