This is a beautiful place to hike and take your dog. There are a lot of trails and they are mostly well-marked.In September, there were still a lot of trees down because of the tornado, so it can make following the trail a bit difficult!

Didnt go into the actual quarry. Instead walked the trails around the quarry with my son. Havent been here in awhile and noticed some new trails have been added. Nice place to walk your dog. Great trails for kids to explore and use their imaginations. Can enter the trail system from the parking lot or by crossing the dirt road.

Stony Creek granite is gorgeous -- a mix of pink, gray and off-white with lots of mica. Its a beautiful choice for masonry or crushed rock driveways. You can go to the quarry and pick-up material yourself, or have it delivered. Stacy, who works in the office, is always helpful and accommodating. I love this place!
