Place usto be very good years ago, I did alot of business here commercially and I loved it untill recently.... now employees look tired, uniforms bearly are worn, unhelpful, rude, and uneducated as far as parts information, tried to return an alternator that wasnt even opened part wasent even touched and some douche was saying because it was an electrical part it could not be returned, I was like are you kidding me? Ive returned many of electrical parts that we never used, I understand if they were installed or dirty to refuse a return, but brand new in the box never touched or open is 100% returnable, he said once the part leaves the door its unreturnable, so I said if you sold me the wrong alternator and I brought it home and realized it was the wrong one, that I couldnt come return it because its an electrical part and it left the store? and the guy said yes its policys, Ive done it 100 times, these guys act high and mighty, I miss the days of a good clean looking crew who appreciated business in a clean professional environment with helpful employees, not their self entitled douches who think because they drive a 20 year old shitbox volkswagen with a fart can on it makes them a mechanic, time to teach these guys to show respect to their customers and have sence lost my business and Ive taken my account to someone else who shows respect and professional employees
The other day I masked up to go buy some carb cleaner. Go to the Advance Auto Parts on Putney Road, saw the sign on the front door that said Face Covering Required. Excellent, I thought. Once inside I noticed about nine or ten people - NOT A SINGLE PERSON WEARING A MASK. This included the five or six employees working that day. I was only one, so I turned right around and walked out. Hey Advance...you have to do MUCH better than this.

I was just at advanced Auto in Brattleboro Vermont and I was able to get all of the auto parts that I was looking for. The prices were very reasonable and the parts guy was very kind and very helpful.
I went into Advance Auto Parts with my husband and we were going to give this store a try. We were first greeted by a gentleman named Jeff that said his name on his shirt. Jeff came off very rude and seemed to be a bully in this establishment. I asked for a price on an item and he said it’s probably too much for you too afford. Then I was continued to be belittled by this advance auto part employee. Not very friendly service. The week after that my husband went into the store to find fix a flat for the tire for our family car. The manager of the store named Ray as said on his shirt said he was in the middle of helping a customer and proceeded to leave and go outside to smoke a cigarette and text on his cellphone. All the workers at this store are are incompetent and all are on their cell phones when we were in the store BOTH TIMES! There was also an employee with a red haired beard that was texting that didn’t give two cares in the world to ask if needed help. PATHETIC Something needs to happen because both managers are lowlifes to not help a customer out and seem to be there only for the paycheck.DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!! Go somewhere at least that has respect for there customers. This store is a joke and I will be going somewhere else with my business.

I went into Advance Auto parts for a battery for my car and the cashier that was there with a name on his shirt Hunter was at the register helping me. He refused to help me put a new battery in my car and said that advance does not put batteries in vehicles. Then he went on to say to go to oreilly they will help you out. He seemed very unprofessional and seemed to have a thing against woman. If you need help at this advance id highly recommend going somewhere else for the things you need. All the workers that i came accross seemed to not know a thing about what there doing and seemed incompetent. Manager at this store really should do something to fix the problems at this store seems like a free for all for everyone. Do not recommend anyone to shop at this store. Go somewhere else.

Excellent. My 81 year Moms battery died. We brought the car down to Advance and they installed a new one in no time.
We tried over and over to deal with the Brattleboro location! The employees are very rude and think they know everything! We have bought shocks there in the past only to drive home and find out they were used parts in new box. Only to be told they could do nothing for us! The last straw was when we ordered parts online at 9am that where supposedly in stock and to show up 6pm not only were they not pulled they were not in stock only to be told they have NO control of their inventory being wrong and we would have to wait another day for parts to be transferred. If they pulled parts previously they could have had our parts available to us by 6pm! Then guy was super rude long red hair employee with the beard (the one who drives the fast and furious focus!) mansplained my wife telling her how it was out of his hands her order was cancelled and can’t help you. Thanks advanced auto we will gladly take our business elsewhere and NEVER return to the Brattleboro store again. Meanwhile after order was cancelled the money is still being held on her debit card
Good products, no question, but their pay online and pick up in store nonsense it beyond ridiculous. I sat there for 45 minutes to get a battery.

Blew a fuse on a road trip and the staff helped us with tools to disconnect the battery before changing the fuse.
Staff is not knowledgeable. But, if its in the computer then there is a chance they might have the part. Its been a 50 50 chance for us.
