I had a very frustrating experience at this store. I wanted to purchase a frame. I saw it online and that it was half off. I went into the store to look at it. When I got there, it said buy one get one half off. I looked back at the online ad and noticed it did say 50% off but only online. However, I saw that I could purchase it online and do same day pickup. I had one of the cashiers ask the manager if they could match the online price. The manager said no. I asked if I could purchase it online and just pick it up right there with the same day pickup option. The manager still said no because it takes several hours to process. I purchased it online anyways and thought that I would just wait because I wanted to buy it at half off. I leave the store and in less than 25 minutes I get a text saying that my order was ready for pickup. I had barely gotten home and had to go back. I feel that this was all very unnecessary to put a customer through. I would have stayed for a few minutes to wait for my order to be ready instead of making an extra trip. A little more customer service and common sense would have gone a long way and saved me alot of frustration.

Not my favorite Michaels store... they always seem to be out of whatever I need and am looking for. The aisles are always pretty empty and the only spot that seems fully stocked is the seasonal area. I continue to drop by whenever I need something just in case they actually have it, but Im never that fortunate. Oh, well.

I want to compliment the frame section. First, they have a great selection to choose from, from economy to luxury and all in between. But most importantly the staff member, a gentleman, was very kind in answering questions and helping me choose frames. It’s hard to find helpful people these days so thanks so much to this Michael’s. I will come here for all my home decor and craft needs now!

Customer service isnt exactly the friendliest or most helpful, but overall seems to be pretty stocked with most things. Always nice to see especially during these times.

I came to Michaels to get a custom frame for one of my paint elevations and was greeted in the Frames department by Rubio! He was so helpful and spent so much time talking me through what was the best choice for my piece as I wasnt sure what I had in mind. Im so thankful for his help and am so excited to be picking it up today after a few weeks of ordering!

Clean and organized store and very friendly staff. I was there with my 2-year-old and he was making a mess but they were so kind and as I was so embarrassed they proceeded to make me feel so comfortable and just clean up after my son. This type of customer service is rare! Highly recommend this store

Clean store. Well organized. Waited in line 20 min because only one cashier and all the other employees were to busy to care. The lady behind me in line was also very frustrated with the wait time. Cashier should take up a job at the DMV and speed and efficiency was not her strong suit.

Standard Michaels. Parking is easy and its not too crowded.

This Michaels was just irritating. So I ordered my items online for Curbside Pick Up to try and avoid the lines and well overall people.Well the 1st thing that goes wrong I arrive and the curbside assign parking spots are all being used by people who apparently dont know how read. Now that may not be completely the stores fault I later realized where they went wrong.Anyway, I went to the assigned curbside pick link, I get a reply that my Curbside was not available at the time. So now I have to get off and go in a line I was trying to avoid. It was only 4 people deep, but none the less frustrating. Finally my time to go into the store comes up and they send me to the restroom area was at, told me to press the red button and someone will be there to help me. When I arrive to said button a couple was there waiting, lady tells me she had been waiting for an hour now and now had come out. Lady gets an associates attention and she goes and looks for guy that suppose to be in charge. Well 40 minutes later I get, what was suppose to be my Curbside Pickup.The issue is the following. If you are offering a service make sure to stick to it. And if not able to work through it explain to customer why and help the Pick up be easier since they listened to your suggestion to avoid overcrowding a store.

What can one say about after holiday sales and 80% off? Absolutely nothing! The only thing I can say is to get to Michael’s before it’s all gone.

Friendly customer service and decent prices

I appreciate the curbside pickup, but Ive had issues with it both time. The first time I didnt receive a confirmation email that it was ready and the second time when I clicked the link that I was there, it said someone had picked up my order. While in the first case the Michaels employee was very kind and helpful, the second time the person was super rude like it was my fault their system sucks.

Found everything I needed and the cashier was so great. They have social distancing stickers in line but the customers dont do a great job at using them. Not the stores fault at all tho they did what they could!

Went to Michaels today, first time in almost a year due to this pandemic we are living in the middle of. The store was not crowded and all customers and staff were wearing masks. Found what I needed and went to check out. Big red dots the size of a human head on the ground, yet some customers wanted to stand closer. Overall I was able to find what I needed that was not available online and get out fairly quickly. Shopping online is great but not always possible as not all items are available online sadly.

I needed help with a shadow box frame and the cashier gentleman was very understanding and helpful with the confusion on my part. I appreciate it, thank you very much. Happy Holidays.

Great place for your crafting needs. We bought a tye dye kit and all of us enjoyed it. But it is a little messy so do it outside with drop cloths. Makes cool one of a kind shirts!

A nice and spacious Michaels with plenty of parking, easy to see and enter from traffic. The staff here is always helpful as sometimes, navigating Michaels in general can be a maze.The deals here at Michaels are phenomenal. Although regular priced items are always insanely expensive, using the coupons online will bring down the price by alot. So always make sure to be aware of the kind of savings you can get from these coupons. They usually range between 40%-60% off one regular item and very rarely do they have a 25% off sale items.Overall, I love coming to this Michaels because of the sheer size of this store. There are always things in stock and money to be saved.

I went to Michaels to find some Micron pens for our daughter and was pleasantly surprised by the available selection. They had different colors, sizes, and variety packs. I was also able to use a Hobby Lobby coupon for 40% off, no problem. They take competitor coupons. The cashier was friendly and the store was clean. Ill definitely be going back.

Girlfriend shopped here for painting supplies. She spent 73 bucks... Thats a lot of money for like 6 items.

We went in to have a large photo framed with one of the awesome deals that Michaels always has. The rest of the store looked pretty good but they seemed mildly understaffed. At the custom frame counter we were helped by Isaac who was the Manager. Isaac was extremely helpful with choosing the color and style of the frame as well as the colors of the mat that the picture was going to be mounted with.When we went to pick up the framed picture, (which was finished a couple days before the expected date) it just looked awesome. I would highly recommend having Isaac help with placing an order on a custom frame!

This is my favorite Michaels store. They have amazing clearance and the store is always clean. I dont like talking to people but I always find myself talking to the employees here because they love crafts as much as I do.

I came here looking for an odd sized poster frame (16 x 21 to be exact) and I couldnt figure out what size frame to use. So I asked the custom frames desk for help and Cathi went out of her way to help me out. She measured the poster for me and I ended up going with a 16 x 24 poster frame. Next she showed me how to make a border without spending too much money. Very happy with experience shopping here

Great store for arts & crafts items

Service with smile and beyond. We were served by a gal who provided excellent customer service. She connected with us, she engaged us, give us a discount on a damaged item (only one left in store and we needed it). Assisted us to get a coupon off the website. She is a value to the store and made our visit very satisfying.

Its okay. I went to buy something I seen on there online. They told me theyd clearenced the items and not longer carried them.. They were full price on line, so I had not idea.

Michaels was the only store my wife and i find umbrellas at on a very rainy day. This made or day believe it or not. So much so I need to give this place a good review. Other than that I have visited Michaels over the years and found that everything I could need for art is there.

Standard craft store, not all stores carry the exact same inventory or quantities. Went to Placentia store & found some great stuff, but went to City of Industry store and didnt have much luck there finding what I needed. Overall, the stores are hit or miss and some items are super expensive for the quality, especially when items can be found at local discount big box store, aka big W.
