Good little store, I don’t have to walk a mile in Lowe’s. People are way more knowledgeable and helpful at Wilco. Specially that person in hardware with blonde hair and glasses. They know their store very well. A+
Weirdly one of my favorite stores. I am a bit of a novice at home City farmer and I love this place. They have everything I need for my rabbits as well as an awesome selection for my dog and cat.I love that I can order ahead and pick things up out back. I just drive up and they load it all in my truck.
Has so much farm stuff and so fun just to wander around and look for other stuff.
I love this store! Used to love their grooming services also. Wouldve rated 5 stars had they treated us better. Weve been scheduled and rescheduled multiple times and we called yesterday with the surprise to be able to have an appointment today just to be turned away again because they messed up schedule times. Bummer! I miss our previous grooming person the groomers havent been the same. Unfortunately, we will be looking for another place so we can be hopefully treated like we arent burdens. I highly recommend the store part though customer service is on point 🤙
I have been able to find several things here that I have needed that I couldnt find elsewhere. Quite a variety! Best part they are Not mask nazis.
Handy for your farm/garden needs.
I love this place! They have everything I need for my garden and its always quality products. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the products they sell. Also, Wilco is owned by farmers and I like the idea that Im able to help support workers in a difficult and essential industry.
I love this store for my puppies needs they always have her food in stock ☺ UPDATE: The employees were SO sweet and helpful today! Thanks guys ❤
Good prices, they carry items that are hard to find else where. Helpful staff!!!
Great experience! The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Weve never had a bad experience here. We get garden, chicken and other supplies here. We bought our chicks here - 11 out of 12 were hens which is pretty good odds in my opinion. Employees are friendly and helpful.
Even if my pick up order was slightly incorrect the service at this location was top notch. Helpful staff who worked as a team to find out a solution. Full of all the items you need on a farm or those who wish they had one.
Really friendly staff and nice selection of products at decent prices.
To update post on 5/17/21. Tina went out of her way to make sure my pup and I were well taken care of. I appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy and satisfied! Thank you, Miss Tina!!!
I love this store! They have good quality home yard and farm supplies, as well as gardening tools and plants. The clothes and shoes were very nice and had great options for cowboy hats and boots. This is my favorite farmers supply store of them all. I l XD CD de
I fell in love with another customer while I was there! She was gorgeous! It made me sad she was there with her girlfriend. Oh yeah! The staff were excellent as well. Informed and informative and helpful as all get out!
Strongly advise staying away from their plants. The bulk of their stock is ridden with Tobacco Mosaic Virus which is extremely contagious and reeks absolute havoc on plants. I brought this to the attention of a staff member, an older woman who was extremely rude and dismissive. She claimed it was normal but it is absolutely not! Will never go back.
The people at the front of the store did not know the store very well but Xavier in the back was very helpful. I had no idea they sold nuts and bolts and they had the best selection of anyone around!
They have so much there I could shop there all day. The staff is very friendly and helpful
Never going back there again. Went for the first time today and was browsing to try and look at everything. I was overly excited about their merchandise and how much of it has been difficult for me to find in other local stores and they had it all in one place.....then I noticed I was being followed by one employee and two others were watching from other isles moving with me. This soon became humiliating because as they followed the other customers start now watching me as well.... so to put an end to this me and my wife decide it best to just leave. We go to the counter and after PURCHASING what we had in our hand cart totaling $113 (which would have been a lot more had they not made us feel like thieves) we walk outside to two Sheriff deputys sitting in the parking lot near our car. I turn around and the employees are watching out the window and one even pointed at our car. I then saw one of them on the phone Im assuming calling the police to inform them that we had indeed paid after all....what an absolutely disgraceful way to treat your customers. I truly hope this isnt how the employees here are trained. I will never step foot inside this establishment again and I really hope you never let the staff treat anyone this way again. If you are so concerned with shoplifters perhaps put out the xtra change to use security tags or something. But shaming innocent customers on an assumption isnt a form of loss prevention.
Let me just say, I love Wilco. The people are always so helpful. They have all kinds on incredible items. Id work there for free just so I could be around things to make my little house beautiful🙂
Their bathrooms are huge, yet no changing tables for mothers with babies. As I went in to change my son I met another mother who informed me there was not a changing table, she laid his blanket on the floor to change him instead of laying her child on the tile that gets covered from everything tracked in on peoples shoes. I did not have a blanket, I changed my child on the counter between the 2 sinks. Luckily no one came in needing to wash their hands. With how large this bathroom is, there plenty space for a changing table. And as a chain company I would think they could afford a table of some sort. The rest of the store is great though.
Baby chickens. Baby ducks. Five stars.
Helpful staff, clean wide open store. They just didnt have the product I needed
Cool place. More hardware stuff than i thought. Some things are pricy tho.
Always friendly and very helpful along with being able to purchase exactly what is on my list.
Wilco, is a model business in my honest opinion.Wilco is not just in the community, it, along with its employees are an extremely important part of the community.Wilco supports agriculture in our area, by noting only stocking top quality supplies, but play a vital, direct role in the development of our future leaders through the FFA program.Wilco employees are kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. They place honesty and service above sales. The store is always immaculate, inviting, and practical.I have never left the store disappointed. I encourage folks to shop there, for all things agricultural, pets, plants, hardware, clothing, home, and shop upkeep.
These are just pictures I happened to take while I was here, my plan is to refer back to them when Im shopping elsewhere to compare variety and prices.Wilco is a lovely, spacious, clean store! It can be pricey, but they have good sales sometimes. Today I got some plants for 50% off. I was told they use absolutely no pesticides on them which is what I was hoping for, as I want to put the plants inside my snail terrarium, and snails are basically pests 😄Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The parking lot usually looks pretty empty every time I drive by (multiple times a day), so I was surprised at how long the line was while I was there today. It went very quickly though as they had 4 cashiers open!
Great customer service in an awesome store
*Update* 4/28/21Although not a lot has changed from my last update, most of the employees are friendly; some are a little more helpful than others. Wilco has a decent size lawn and garden area, and this time of year, you can often find some charming water features and bird baths. This time of the year is also great for baby chicks; Wilco offers a good variety of different breeds, and what I saw a good portion of them were egg layers. Ill admit every time Im in that store, I have to ooh and aah over how cute and cuddly looking they are!In my prior review, I also failed to mention their pet grooming area; I havent personally used it for my pets, but what Ive read certainly reminds me of a spa for your furry friends, manni - peddies, and so much more! And of course, being a farm store offers a healthy variety of farming and ranching items, everything from putting together electric fences to boot wraps for your horses. Not only do they offer food for your indoor pets but also specialty food for your cows, sheep, goats, horses, and pigs, and we cant forget our little flying friends known as birds ;)A few other items they offer are paint and painting supplies, grills, grilling supplies, small knick-knack items, jewelry, and snacks, juat to mention few things.Honestly, there is something for men, women, and children!About Wilcox Covid safety practices, staff wear mask, there are safety dividers at the checkouts; what I have read is that the employees also do temperature checks; I can not confirm or deny that, assuming they handle that once they come in for work, as far as disinfecting goes, I personally have not seen it done. Still, it is possible they randomly clean throughout the day.My biggest qualm is trying to juggle items to purchases as there is no counter space to set your things on, and if memory serves me correctly, we held up the items so they could scan them, which means juggling a purse, store items, credit card, etc. is challenging. You probably think, why didnt they get a shopping cart? We didnt see one, or we would have; every time we have gone in there, we have never seen carts or hand baskets. So after I got home, I called Wilco; apparently, there are hand baskets inside but not directly within sight; the shopping carts are located outside the store closer to the garden area, which would explain why I have never found them inside, lol.Overall, Wilco is an interesting store, and we enjoy looking through this store! The first Wilco store dates back to the 1930s, right out of our neighboring state of Oregon. It is considered a farmer-owned cooperative that now operates 20 plus retail farm stores throughout Oregon and western Washington.Although Wilco, not being considered a small business, does employ local people and has managed to stay on the west coast, many of them right here in Washington State.Wilcos location is in east Bremerton 4330 Wheaton Way in the old Lowes building. They are neighbors and share an extensive parking area with Planet Fitness, Sharis Cafe & Pies, and Aceitunos Mexican food. Across Riddell Road, youll find Fred Meyers shopping and several other smaller businesses.Shop, eat, and enjoy all things local, and thank you for continuing to support our local businesses and jobs.-----------Employees are friendly and very helpful. The store has a variety of items ranging from farm, garden items to pet food, clothing, shoes & jewelry and a number of tools, hardware, paints and a lot more. They even had a nice holiday/seasonal area.
Friendly staff here that absolutely takes time to really get exactly what youre looking for.
Very helpful staff. Was able to find what I was looking for. Very clean store.
Great store, every time I am there I am impressed with all they have.
Service is a little slow but it is a good place.
Always super friendly. Just discovered this store and I love it.
Nice store layout, high prices of clothing
The employees are very helpful and friendly. This is my go to for home repair lawn and gard
Always good customer service here..
Good selection of hardware but its overpriced. Items I buy regularly are %10-20 more expensive here than Tractor Supply, Bi-Mart and Ace.
Always a good experience, quality products and great people.
Normally our visits here are rather plesant, we get what we need, the staff is friendly and helpfull and all goes well. But today we went in for our usual visit to buy dog food and noted that the brand had a save 7$ right now coupon attached to it. We dont ever see that on the brand we use so it was a great suprise for us, at this point they didnt have the senior dog food but we can usually get that elsewhere. When we went to check out though, we asked to use the coupon at check out and the cashier, Jes, said you have to send that one in. I am like, oh okay, but the wife said she read it and it says to give to the cashier, so Jes takes it and states here I will show you and proceeds to scan and an error pops up and Jes makes the comment, see i told you (and it was rather rude to be honest). I am like well that stinks. So we head down the road to Fred Meyer for our senior bag of dog food and to our suprise they had the same coupon attached to it, when we shop here we just use the self check out and decided to give the same coupon a go and it worked. Honestly, most the time i would just let it go because some times systems just dont work, but it was rudeness that really aggitated me so i decided to make a comment and to let folks know that if you buy our brand of dog food, which i forgot to mention in this post and it is Nutro, that if you have this problem you need to let the cashier know that it is supposed to be used at the counter.
Extremely helpful and treat people like they have always known them...Very nice and very mellow, kicked back
Great hardware store. Fun to check out the baby chickens with the kids.
I dont go there to often. But when i do they have what i want.
Great selection and friendly helpful staff.
Always has the best supply of chicks and turkeys
Had what we came in for. Great customer service.
Great farm/garden/hardware store.
I love your place cuz its really nice and cheap live animals I love the chickies and the duckies and the flowers I just wish it was cheaper not expensive everywhere I go there is expensive flowers you should Mark your flowers a little lower and you will have more customers cuz thats why I went but its too expensive
Ordered online and picked up outside. They loaded everything. Whats not to like about that. Great service
Love this store but lately out of stock on items like cat toys and dog beds constantly. Prices are great, employees are super friendly and always helpful. Still love this store.
They always have what I need and friendly staff!!
Love this place. Live my groomer. Lots of great variety
The best animal supply around. Polite and friendly.
They have everything you need for your property, and even things you dont need more of like chickens and baby ducks.
Its prices are a bit high and the staff there are not friendly really they dont really go out of their way to be helpful but it was ok. Not as bad as ace hardware on the west side. That store was the worst
Nice assortment of garden plants, helpful employees..
Hands down the best customer service Ive ever encountered in my entire life these people really love what they do and love helping others
Got what we needed, work boots and the longest lasting dog toy we have found for our pitbull (not indestructable, but there is still some life in it after 3 weeks)
I love the store they have what I need there
Super nice store the cashiers are always so nice! always have what I need.
Helpful staff, clean store,, great selection, good prices. What else needs to be said.
Very helpful staff, knowledgeable. Also good prices and a huge variety. Really cool sliding doors when walking in. Thanks
Huge. Much more than a feed store - a hardware store and home improvement store also.
Store has alot of good.products. staff was not very inviting
The folks at the Bremerton Wilco are great. Very friendly and eager to help out however they can. The store is clean and well organized. The staff seems to know their stuff, and wont give up until we have what we need to know. They carry what youll need to keep the farm, ranch and home running smooth. Great store!
Great service and prices. Drive 10 minutes past a similar store to go here. In the midst of a pandemic shortage of chicks they worked to get my 9 year old daughter her first flock.
Great customer service, and I love the garden area
Great place, friendly staff! :)
Friendly staff, clean respectable store. Most outrageous prices ive ever seen. They had a burber sweater in there priced for over $100 that you can go to winco foods and find the EXACT same sweater, EXACT, for a mere low price of $19.98. But surprisingly, the little jewelry they have is reasonably priced. Go figure right? Lol
They have everything you need!!
Easy In and out. Good help with carry out
I love this store... Because its a true full service store for small farm and pet needs. Great selection of hard to find items that a box store like Lowes wont have.
The staff is great but was a little disappointed when we got our chicks and duck recently. There was no real help when we had the duck get sick the day after bringing him home. All we got really was well let us know how he is & good luck. $350 later, the vet said that it was a niacin deficiency & being we had him less than 24 hrs, the store was not feeding him an adequate diet
Nice store, nice people. Wilco needs to build a store in Shelton, WA
Amazing large selection of everything I never knew I needed. Got a new pair of boots while I was at it.
We frequent this store at least bi-monthly. This recent time we went for a horse supplement, and spied the newly arrived chicks! I did not get the young mans name, but he was exuberant AND very knowledgeable about the breeds, feed and other items necessary for starting a flock. We have had chickens for decades, but this is the first time anyone has offered to explain the details! What a refreshing experience!
I was shopping for a galvanized big pail/ barrel to mix soil in. I add crushed egg shells, house compost, etc. FOUND IT!
Its been a while since I have shopped there. Seems like there are a bunch of new employees that just came through training. Not a bad thing, but the inexperience shows. I was just looking at the baby chicks because, well, baby chicks and the woman there was telling another customer that all the chicks they have lay brown eggs. Which was definitely not true. I was really holding myself back from correcting her because I had planned on bringing her aside to explain it to her. But my two year old ran out of patience so I had to leave. Unfortunately I have seen this type of thing happen quite commonly at farm stores with hatchery birds. Theres plenty of experienced chicken people that will agree with me. Basically know what your going there for before you get there. The service is not bad, but we probably shouldnt expect them to be the expert for you, do your research before you buy. On a side note, I prefer Wilco over TSC any day of the week.
Friendly staff. They have comparable prices to other stores, even Amazon on Carthart items. The groomers are great, my little doggie is treated very well...remember to tip your groomer, please.
Great selection, horrible prices.
Was looking for a brass rod. Walked in and asked the checker. She asked, what do you need it for, I said I need a brass rod for a project. She said well I dont think we have those but let me check, she hopped on her radio, and they do have then. I guess I know why she asked, but its clear she doesnt know all the projects that could use a brass rod.
Love this store. Has everything I need for the homestead in one place
Thank you for an awesome experience
A pleasure from the moment me and my poodle walked through the door
This is my daughters favorite store. She love the chicks in spring. I love the paint and garden section. This store has everything you need for gardening and canning. They focus more on stocking quality items that will last a long time. Heaven for an urban farmer like me.
Very clean. Sizes, where they should be. Everything from work clothes to baby ducks. Glad to find it. Will be there again.
Love Wilco! They’ve got baby chicks in stock now too! Great selection of dog and animal things. A bit pricey
Huge selection or products! Good service
The customer service is wonderful right down to the loading dock where they were curious and promt. My order was ready quickly...
Got a dozen bails of hay and 2 were the correct bales I paid for, the other 10 were smaller, lighter, more straw than hay and I feel a bit cheated :-(...
Nice store. Good selection. Helpful staff.
Great prices great corn plums onions green beans I steamed for dinner so sweet and yummy
So much to see, love all chick babies
