BTW, this Is not a Health Food Store; its a smaller version of Sprouts. I solely miss the old co-op that was on 4th Street. I always felt welcome at that store. I never feel welcome at the co-op on Park avenue. They always assume that I am not a member. They never ask if I am a member when Im at the checkout. I paid $200 for my membership. They are unfriendly, cold, distant. They have the highest prices in all of Western Washington. They were especially rude to me the last time I was there. I enjoy supporting the co-op but Im not going to force myself on them.
Not very accommodating for a kitsap coop. Went there with a household member so could make sure membership would be good for all. Decided to pay for membership as well as make purchases. Was told needed to do membership online. The staff member appeared disinterested and mechanical. I have been a coop member though not here. I came from South Kitsap and this was far from welcoming. Love the store for its size but for the price and that experience... No thanks.
Disregard the two reviews complaining about parking (there’s plenty of it on the street) and having to buy a membership online (seems like that makes sense especially given COVID...) this place is an absolutely wonderful addition to the community!
Want fresh parsnips or cilantro that lasts for a week in a little water in your fridge? This is the place! Oh, and the Ruby Jewel chocolate mint ice-cream sandwich was delightful! We’ll be back!
Love having this option close to where I live when I need to run out for a staple. Would love to see them grow to increase inventory. Friendly and helpful staff
It’s nice to have a co-op downtown! Quality produce, local goods and some good snacks! I also love that they stock Sprout and Thistle flower bouquets too!
We stop in after work to grab a few nibbles.
So excited about the co-op store! Its great for when Ive eaten through my farmers market buys & need more to get me to Thursday again. Cant wait to see it grow. They have an on-going list that you can add your wishes to as well. Im so happy to have this store so close to home!
After years of hard work, folks, its here. Ample street parking (or a nice walk if youre lucky to be close) and you will find yourself in a little mecca of fresh, local, organic, sustainable foods and other products. The produce is ample and beautiful, the bulk section is generous with room to expand, and the local options are lovely. We went on opening day with our minds wide open. This is going to grow from a wonderful thing to an essential part of the community food chain soon.Annies Mac n cheese, natural sunscreen, cold kombucha, and a take one leave one cloth bag bin will serve busy families as well. Please go support our food co-op. You do NOT need to be a member to shop!
Nice little store downtown with reasonable prices. Small but well stocked produce section, nice dry and bulk good sections. Lots of local stuff. Nice!
Long awaited, finally made it, the scent of the soaps are an aura cleanse. Looking forward to shopping it, ask about membership. Very friendly Staff.
Staff is always friendly and its always nice to see what theyve got in stock
Hard to find parking.
UPDATE: They now have a small brick and mortar store! Wonderful and growing selection, go check it out! Support local!
Considering that this is still a small operation, I was surprised at the variety of products. Their bulk selection was impressive and the prices were great. Cant wait to watch it grow.
Its a limited amount, but quality local goods!
So excited to have this in my neighborhood.
This is the pop up starter store to open a full scale co-op.So needed in this community.
Disrespectful dishonorable staff
