We were staying at the Hampton Inn right next door and we were craving ice cream. This place exceeded our expectations. The ice cream was absolutely perfect! That VCR (could be wrong on the acronym.) ice cream is incredible- and only $5 for 2 scoops! I got the double scoop with the cookie dough. My god! Heaven! And my wife got the mint chocolate chip with a brownie on the bottom. Shes happy, Im happy! It made her whole night! Sorry about the pic, I couldnt wait to eat some on my way to the hotel. Cant wait to come back. Oh! And the staff was so amazingly friendly. Love this place!
Outstanding ice cream for good prices. Interesting flavors too. They also have some pastries that are very good (Smores cookie...yeah). Good service too 👍

Great Service! My first time in and the only team member I saw, Cassie, was incredibly friendly, helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable. The ice cream comes with one topping, such as cookies, candies, etc. Price isnt too bad considering. Unfortunately the ice cream isnt as good as the predecessor in this location. My ice cream was kinda gummy but ok flavor wise. They were out of regular waffle cones so I just got the cup. Although, I now remember she did say my cup comes with a small cake cone, but guess I forgot to ask for it. Good location for all the ferry traffic. Great for kiddos. They also serve fast food items, such as hot dogs and nachos if youre hungry and need a quick bite close to the ferry terminal.

I was glad to see this business take over when Cold Stone Creamery left. I read about it in the paper and decided to take my daughter to it for a treat.First off, love the service. The friendly staff was very patient with us as we looked over the choices of ice cream they have.We both enjoyed the waffle cones we ordered. If you have a little one, or even yourself, definitely order the small for them. I barely finished my medium. In my defense we had lunch earlier.My only complaint is they need to up their game with the plastic spoons. The spoons feel like they are going to break in half if you dig too deep.If you waiting for the ferry with little ones, they will vote you parents of the year for taking them here. We are definitely going back.

My first time experience they charged me the wrong amount on my receipt, in which I did not know until I came home. The ice cream chocOMG was quite melted & looking nothing like they advertised.

Very good Ice Cream! I got cookie dough with raspberry drizzle. It was sooo good! Definitely better than most ice cream shops in town. Highly recommend.
Redemption! Last week we went and had a terrible experience with an employee that is no longer there and that post has since been deleted as they have seriously outdone themselves. The owner made sure that we were taken care of and did not wait in line to get the delicious super shakes, nachos and hot dogs. The shakes were completely Instagramable and 100% delicious. The nachos were as you would expect, chips covered in cheese with olives, sour cream and salsa. The shipyard dog was a perfect mix of cream cheese and bacon. I will be back.
A nice treat. We tried it twice in the week and our second experience was much better than the first. The first time the ice cream was a little icy, but next was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and considerate.
Edited 1/25/21 for accuracy: Super cute little ice cream shop by the ferry in Bremerton. It was open late (9ish) which was so appreciated as my old man and I were driving through at that time craving some sweets like no other. So happy Scoops & Bites saved us from another gas station goodie. The selection was quite sufficient at 24 flavors which I have since learned are all made in-house - very cool. They had a lemon shortcake bar that was unbeatable (also made in house - nice job!) and my man loved the cotton candy ice cream as a milkshake. I took the star off, would only do .5 if possible, because for me, the flavors were a little lackluster. 😬 Im so sorry to say. Dont get me wrong, it was good. Though with flavors like vanilla chocolate raspberry and blackberry acai in a vibrant purple color, I expected the flavor to be incredibly intense. Unfortunately, not exactly the case. Although, if made in house, maybe a special super intense flavor or 2 could be concocted for us super sour lovers or something. That would be awesome and Id buy it by the gallon! All in all, it was great and next time Im in the area, I will go back for sure. I think it was like $20 for the two of us.
Had fun going to try the Super Shakes with my niece. We split the Cookies and Dreams. It was enough to feed 4 people.

The ice cream tastes old. The ice cream was melting and gross. The gram crackers on the s’mores ice cream were stale and the butter pecan had no nuts it was just like plain white vanilla ice cream.
The sherbert was really good. As a person that loves icecream, but cant have dairy any more I always love seeing a non dairy option that has chocolate in it.
Good ice cream shakes we love the banana cream and the the peanut butter one as well cookie dough isnt bad for a shake either got to check it out if you havent
AMAZING!!!! This place has the best milkshake Ive ever had! I work at the Shipyard and was glad a place opened with great prices and quick and friendly service. I was able to get and eat my lunch with time to spare, so much time I decided to try a milkshake. I had the Cookies and Cream not too thick not to thin. I will definitely be back. If you are in the mood for some quick bites go here.
I work in Seattle and live in Bremerton and i literally eat here everyday after work. The ice cream is phenomenal but dont sleep on their nachos and dogs! This is exactly where Im gonna eat everyday i get off that ferry. Rain or shine come in and eat!

Went to Scoops and Bites a little after 3 pm on July 26. As the line of customers grew longer and longer, the manager happily ignored all of us and instead spent her time refilling half-full ice cream bins. One person was left trying to serve everyone and she had a great attitude. Another person suddenly emerged from the back to help. The manager never once greeted the customers or addressed the fact that she was doing something that clearly could wait until the line had been served. We dont mind waiting if all staff have their hands on deck, but this person made us not even feel like we were welcome in the store. How can you be an example for your staff if you ignore paying customers to their faces while doing non-urgent work. I am not coming back and I cant imagine that the owners of this place would have enjoyed a visit like this. If you want to see how to hire and train awesome managers, go two doors down to the Starbucks - they have it figured out. The one star is for the brave staffer who really did her best plus the ice cream which wasnt bad.
😸 my mom brought my son and I a bag of the rainbow cotton candy today for his birthday and let me tell you, that is the best cotton candy Ive ever had hands down. Even topping the fair💯 it was fiiiire💯!!!!

This place is delicious! I highly recommend the Carmel Peanut Butter ice cream. It was amazing! We also tried cake batter and the cotton candy flavored ice cream. They were both good as well. Waffle cones were being made fresh and filled the whole area, inside and out with the smell yummy! We also tried the Piña colada flavored cotton candy, I wasn’t a big fan of it. But this might be my new ice cream place!

Discovered this ice cream shop while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was and how inexpensive it was for the portion size.The server was very friendly and patient as we studied the many options finally deciding on a caramel peanut butter mixed with reeses and caramel which was a must reccomend!.Do not pass this place up!
Jimmy went above and beyond to make sure that our return service went as it should for all customers visiting to try the delicious treats at Scoops and bites. We will be back.
