I didnt want to believe the negative reviews since Ive had good luck at the other Strathmore bagels locations. I got burned eggs and unpleasant service. The man making the food is the only worker not wearing a mark.

The best breakfast in town! Call in your order before leaving your house it can get busy. Nothing like a fresh BECSPK and this place does it right, everytime...

This place is just amazing. Ive been coming here almost 10years and the quality of food is so fresh and perfect with excellent customer service. It hasnt changed since then. I cant imagine going to a different place other than here. SO GOOD.

Dominican/Puerto Rican dude never wearing a mask, talks all over the food and is generally pretty rude. The dude spits like a fire hydrant cause he screams when he speaks disgusting!

Been going there for a while never had an issue food is good. But today I went the lady charged me 5$ for a bacon egg and cheese. And 4.25. For a bagel with cream cheese and jelly. First time I sent my oldest daughter in to pay she over charged then followed my kids outside because she thought they were alone. (Guilt)I don’t know what’s going on but that was shady. I will not be going there anymore!!!!

Staff is friendly. Bagels and food in general not as good as they once used to be but still good. I prefer slower, diligent serving to fast, messy order. Wait is long because theres one person in charge of the grill.

I started coming here since the age of 7 with my parents and continued until now (32). My wife, child and I decided to go for breakfast here today and got treated horribly, I was in the register about to pay for my food and the cook walked over to say “what’s with your attitude” I never had an attitude I simply was explaining my order and then the owner wanted me to pay but the cook continued to have an attitude so then I immediately dediced it was time to get my family out of that negative atmosphere and told them this was my last time coming here so the cook replied “don’t bother coming back” I am still so confused as to why I got treated the way I did

When I used to go here from 2004-2008, their service was great. I never had to wait long and their staff was experienced. I thought about coming here again, but after reading the reviews om this page, Id rather go to Bean and Bagel in Calverton.

The bagels are OK. Every time I come here the workers are pretty rude and have an attitude. They treat you as if you’re coming to beg for food instead of paying for it. Plus it’s pretty pricey for what you get.

They always messing up. on top of that over priced. this place used to be decent. but now its just sad.

Food is usually good but I came running late on a snowy day due to traffic and I notice they gave me an old chicken cutlet that was extremely hard and cold ontop of soggy bread. It Was not edible at all.

Decent coffee, great bagels, good service and open on Christmas! Would recommend.

1) Very slooooooooow service. I ordered bagels. All people there are untrained. I dont mind but then I needed to wait for grilled orders before paying for simple bagels.2) bagels where terrible. Im talking tasted like frozen Costco bagels.3) place looks very dirtyFind somewhere else

Staff is nice, but the owner at the register has horrible customer service skills. Seems like shes angry all the time.

I frequent this establishment about 3 to 4 times in a normal week, theyre grillman is awesome and the whole rest of the staff is always very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I am very very picky on how I like my eggs cooked and he gets it right every time! Highly recommended if you live in the Brentwood area.

Ive been visiting this location for YEARS. Its always been my favorite spot for breakfast UNTIL the new owner took over. Shes rude and refused us a dozen bagels at noon because were not making anymore bagels we literally had a dozen in a bag and she came over and told us we could only purchase a half dozen... Im confused at how Im unable to buy a dozen bagels at a BAGEL STORE. I miss Brian and Joy.

Coffee is watered down!!! Prices displayed do not match what you are charged for. Bagels are rarely fresh, despite a sign which says baked fresh daily. I wouldnt go there if not for the fact that I work nearby.

Good food but no decaffeinated coffee and no spleanda as a sweetner and no spinach. Guess if you are ok with this, this is the place for you.

My boyfriend is gluten-free so called to make sure they served food on platters and not just bagels. When calling someone answered the phone and then I just heard laughing like the crew were messing around and I waited on the phone for a few minutes before deciding just to go there. I was irritated with how the woman answered the phone but upon arriving they were very busy and I assumed it was from that. They took my order and helped me order and the food was great my wait was very minimal. However I do think that the owner needs to buy either a second grill or a an even larger grill to replace the grill in the front. The man on the grill was phenomenal however, I think that there needs to be a larger grill.Also theres a woman that works there and she only wears one glove (they all only wear one glove idk why but its kinda gross ) and she touches her glove and her ungloved hand and then doesnt change her glove. But Suffolk County Health Department she would have to change her gloves and wash her hands.All in all, food was great and I guess thats what matters...
