This is one of the last new bookstores on town and Im always shocked by their selection. A good spotlight of various books and an excellent games section. I just wish they offered better promos. It doesnt make sense to bug items at their prices, so I often browse their and buy elsewhere.

This is one place that never stops amazing me. They often have books, games, and projects I never thought of getting, let alone things i would have thought were created. I love walking around and finding gift ideas and inspiring book topics. 👌🏾😏

Over priced as always. But I was very surprised about the limited selection of some books and major authors.It was really clean and the books were in great condition. But giving it 3 starts based on lack of selection.It is one of the best labeled B&N I have been in.

Barnes and Noble is a wonderful book store. Huge variety of stock and always helpful if you are looking for something special. Get their rewards card and save money!

I have had a gift card for over year and tried using and there always out of stock. There always telling you to special order! I dont need to shop there I will just order on line from Amazon or another site! This is why I dont like gift cards from places like this its hard to purchase things in the store.

Thrilled to shop a physical book store again! So many books to browse. Staff has added notes about their favorite books, great fun to read and very helpful.

I went to the cool springs location tonight and had a bad experience. I went to check out and one guy was closing his register and the other girl was chatting with her friend and didn’t feel like doing her job. I stood there for ten minutes and neither one of them at the front desk acknowledged me. I then called and spoke to the manager and they could care less. I guess this bookstore is ok with loosing business and giving horrible customer service.

Well organized. Enough staff to always get help when needed. Staff had good recommendations too. I got a membership a month ago. They already started asking about renewing which is annoying. The kid area has toys which makes it more fun for the little one.

Came here for books on local history and left with more than we intended to buy. Had cookies that were very good, but the iced tea was a little weak.

Selection is great and the staff is knowledgeable. Prices without the discount card are high if youre used to Amazon. If you go more than once a year, the discount card makes it an amazing place.

Didn’t get any type of greeting and was never asked if I needed help. I’m not even sure if there was anyone working other than one gentleman.

We havent been inside an actual bookstore in so long, that we felt like we could stay here for hours. My toddler was so happy to go to the kids book section, grab a book and read. I may have gone a little crazy and bought her a LOT of books, lol. Considering that we were on a road trip, we didnt have that much room to spare, but books are ALWAYS worth it. The store was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful when we were trying to find specific books and checking out. They also made my toddler feel like a special customer too since they treated her so sweet. Ill be back next time Im in town.

We love Barnes and Nobel we get legos and crafts and cookies a few times a month there.

BnN has been a favorite go to for years. But like.. Well, BnN is still expensive..its a nice place to visit and youll find the books youre looking for.. Most of the time.. but also do yourself a favor and compare with Amazon Prime if youve got that handy. I like saving 10-20 dollars on an overpriced item. And Ill ask every so often if they do price matching. The 2 times I did ask, was told a resounding NO.

Best bookstore in Nashville (imho).. great coffee shop (+ stuff to eat) plenty of little tables, reading chairs, mags, DVD, gifts, good hours...hoping they can stay around in spite of online bookstores!

I love book stores. I lost myself here for a while and found a wonderful new series. My only negative was the confusing layout of the store. I spent a lot of time just trying to find the genre I was looking for and couldnt seem to locate any employees to help me either.

Clean facility. Well stocked. Friendly staff.

It was tough to understand their hours of operation but once we were able to stop in to Barnes and Noble the process with COVID-19 was easy

I went to the cafe and got a white chocolate mocha and a caramel frap but the hot mocha tasted like nothing it had no flavor and my frap was just milk and caramel it had no flavor of coffee and it took long to get my order which was very disappointing because me and my mom love this drinks and going to Starbucks but this just messed it up for us

Needed to replace daily planner that I bought there last year...that had the same brand, but not the same model. Did pick up a nice Lavender planter for my wife.

I usually like going to this location but the glaring political bias is a little too much for me to enjoy it anymore. You walk into the front door and there is an entire table full of Bob Woodward’s new book and no sign of Candace Owens’ book throughout the entire store despite it saying on their website that it is in stock. When I asked about it, they look for a brief moment in all the places I already looked and then say: “we are out”. How can you be out of the number two bestselling book right now? Bob Woodward’s is number one and they have plenty. Leftests are terrified of Candace Owens because people listen to her, and the left can’t have that.

Help desk was informative. Quickly got what I wanted.

What a wonderful place to visit. For a true lover of bookstores this is the best. I know there is so much uncertainty and concern during these troubled times. Just remember you are all so special and it will get figured out. Be safe one and all.

Lots of magazines to broaden your horizons or take to a bed-ridden friend. Plenty of childrens books and games, too! Plus they selection of stationary items are the perfect guilty pleasure that wont break the bank. Treat yourself or treat a loved one, B & N is the place.

The staff, in spite of the pandemic, was extremely friendly and helpful. Their return policy is lenient and convenient; they will help you right as you walk in the door. If they dont carry something in-store they will look it up in the system and order it for you with no extra fees/shipping cost. I support local book stores, but since I dont live near one, this is my first choice for book purchases now.

Called ahead to check inventory for a specific item, service was fast and the staff member who took my call was very friendly and helpful. I arrived 20 minutes later and they had my item ready to be checked out.

This is a clean, safe, pleasant Barnes & Noble. It has a smattering of everything, but in my attempt to find unique items for the special people in my life, I failed. Very typical items are readily available, the more exotic can be ordered. Lets face it, if the store can order it, I can order it myself with quicker delivery at a lower price.

Wish the outside matched the inside - looks utilitarian and gross outside, but inside it’s a treasure trove of books, just like any good Barnes & Noble.

I was let down they didnt have a single copy of the book I wanted even though the website said they did. I only came here cause the website said in stock. I wish some locations would update their inventory. We depend on where to go based on inventory. Really let down I will have to order my book. I try to support foot traffic then this happens.

Called ahead, asked for a specific LP. The gentleman went and found the last copy asks reserved it for me at the front register.I was in and out in less than 3 minutes with checkout!Ill be back.

Stopped in to pick up Hodas new book for my daughter..she is a nurse that was in quarantine and I wanted to get her something uplifting...an associate helped me find it and I was in and out. This is a great store and I am dying to bring my 4 yr old granddaughter here...books are her heart and soul ..day and night..its abit of a drive from Nashville but has alot to offer

Vast selection! Theyve changed the layout from years past so it takes a minute to get acclimated but still a favorite.

Its been a while since Ive been in here :( my experience today was exceptional. Robbie approached me almost immediately and asked if I needed help. He found the two books I was looking for quickly. I went to the checkout line which was a few people deep and suddenly Robbie appeared again to help out at checkout. What a great overall experience he is doing management should be proud of their staff

Helpful staff and a full selection of books on hand. They are happy to look up and order anything they dont already have in stock. You can shop here without a membership but Im definitely glad I got one. The discounts are great and my kids love the free cookies that come with the membership.

Always a nice place to visit. Always clean and organized. I give a ton of B&N gift certificates and they are welcomed and appreciated. The store is always clean and I never have difficulty finding an associate if needed. Checkout is most always speedy because is more than a couple of customers are in line they will call for assistance. Nice Cafe to have a snack after shopping or before.

Stopped in for a quick sugarless vanilla latte. Cariline promptly greeted me, laughed at my joke took my order right away. It was a very short wait and the coffee was hot and delicious. Nice place to just read and drink coffee.

Bright. Well stocked. Well organized. They have a service desk to help,a person find,a specific book or to order one. They have a membership program to provide discounts. Also carries cards, childrens toys, some art supplies.

Seems really clean, and the staff were helpful and nice. They have a lot more than books inside now. A lot of games as well. Never seems that busy, which while positive for customers, is probably not for the store.

I came In Looking for a dog book for my nephew. He’s 5. I was lost. A super helpful clerk walked me over to the exact section. Very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff.

I’m a big fan of spy novels and mystery stories in old-school hardback formats which keeps me coming back on a regular basis. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Today I stopped at the Cafe/Coffee counter on the way out and purchased a hot turkey and cheese sandwich — pretty tasty for a book store!
