Ive taken PCs here a few times and always had a solid experience. Most recently I had an issue I couldnt diagnose with hardware causing my PC to shutdown randomly with no BSOD, they got it sorted out quickly and the cost was only $50 which is pretty dang fair. Ill keep bring future PCs here.

I have used Computer Renaissance in the past and tried to use their service again today. As someone who is at risk of severe Covid, I am depending on others to protect me. Wearing a mask is a simple request. If a business is unwilling to protect its customers I cannot support them.

Make sure you can reproduce you’re problem before you bother visiting!The owner told me they couldn’t find any problems with my computer. They still ended up charging me full price when they couldn’t even fix my computer.Not very friendly either. Would suggest a different sector than customer service to the owner.

Excellent Computer Repair & they also will build you a computer just the way you want for a very fair price. Ive been to other local computer repair companies and I am confident that Computer Renaissance is both the most professional and affordable. They kept my old computer going for 9 years before I finally had them build me a new one. I recommend having them build you a desktop that is expandable rather than an off the shelf model that will always be a bit less than what you really want.

Was wanting a specific processor and they took what I was looking for out of one of their own computers. Blew my mind that they would do that for me! These guys are really awesome! Even showed me how much thermal paste to apply before mounting the heatsink. There are other things I am wanting and this is where Ill be getting them from!

If you need any peripherals last-second, theyre pretty much your only choice. Bit you pay a ridiculous premium for the convenience. For example, a 32 GB USB stick was over $30. You can nearly buy a 10-pack for that price on Amazon.

I would give this establishment a 0 if possible. Walked in to get a labor quote for a battery replacement. The man I spoke with was condescending and insulting to my knowledge of my own laptop. Will never give me business to this establishment or recommend them.

The staff at Computer Renaissance here in the Nashville area are an amazing group of people. They are incredibly knowledgeable, keep up to date, and are great to work with! The computer they built for my work (research and statistical analyses) can handle anything I throw at it. When other computers have thrown fits and I thought they were dead, these gentlemen resurrected it. I dont know what I would do without them!

Promised me on the phone before I brought my computer in for appraisal it would be 2-3 business days top. They again made the empty promise at the store. I have had to call in 3 times and they still haven’t held their end of the bargain over a week later. They promised to call me back the next day each time as well. Don’t even waste your time with these jokers. Search YouTube for a guide to your tech problem, and list your computer for yourself on eBay. If they were mechanics, they’d be trying to sell you blinker fluid.

I cant praise Computer Renaissance enough!!! They were friendly, informative and fast. My computer (life-line) crashed and they had all my old data moved to a new computer with in 2 hours. They delivered onsite and installed in the same day. I have never experienced such wonderful computer service on a first time visit. Roy and his team made my life so much easier. I will be back and spread the word to everyone I know to use them in the future.

We have used these guys for about 5 years for all our computer repairs. They are fairly priced, and when we get our computer returned, it works how its supposed to. They know what they are talking about and they are not beefy up the price with unnecessary charges. I would highly recommend to anyone, with any level of experience.

I wanted to say a few words about Computer Renaissance, and in particular, owner Greg Smith. Gregs patience and good manners showed up in a response I received from a question I had about a damaged screen to my laptop (other computer repair stores were not as helpful, nor professional in their responses). His concern and interest in helping me solve my problem led me to believe he was the person I could trust with upgrading my 9-yr old PC from a standard hard drive to a solid state SSD hard drive. I was correct to trust him. I dropped of my PC and after Greg and his staff replaced the original hard drive and transferred all the data from the old one to the new SSD hard drive, I am extremely pleased and amazed at how fast and efficient this 9-yr old PC is running - its like a new computer! And it still uses Windows 7 Home Premium (hate Windows 10). I will always use Computer Renaissance for any future computer issues I may have and further, will recommend Greg and his store to all my friends who may need assistance with their computer issues.

Was able to find an obscure cable here; an actual computer repair place; insofar as cables go, its the the only place in Franklin to go if youre looking for anything other than USB ... SATA, IDE, serial. Does rebuilds of PCs and probably pretty decent HDD recovery as well.
