Great experience! It was very clean and organized. The employees were very kind and said hello right when I walked in! Great variety of instruments. I ended up determining what my next guitar is going to be. Next time Im in Nashville, I will definitely stop by! Hopefully with enough money to purchase a guitar!
Of course I love Guitar Center I thought the buy one of each guitar I only have 10 so far but theres a like 50 more Id like to buy and wear out evenly
I took in my husbands guitar for repair today and the service was excellent! I highly recommend them - the repair technician (McClane) was very helpful on the phone explaining what to expect, but then it ended up being an easier fix then we expected and he was quick and friendly! A very pleasant experience and we plan to return for any future repair or purchasing needs.
Jake on the sales floor was as respectful and straight forward as they come. Me and.my wife both enjoyed spending with him from start to finish.Just an all around great store..
My partner and I just bought a drum kit during the Memorial Day Sale. We’ve bought 3 guitars, a ukulele, and an electric piano in the last 5 years. We don’t bring in as much business as a band, but we’ve been loyal customers. We travel 70 miles one way to do business with this Guitar Center. When we returned home from this most recent purchase we noticed pieces were missing from the kit. We called the store and they said they had them so we returned a second time. When we got home after this second trip we discovered that they gave us parts for a different kit. We called and asked if they could just ship the correct item to us. They refused seeing as we had some of their “property”. It took us 3 trips, 70 miles one way each time to finally complete our purchase. The individuals we dealt with were kind, but I feel could have done more to correct these errors. They can and should do better.
The store was well kept. However, every guitar I picked up was out of tune. I get you cant tune every guitar in the store, but I seriously think it was due to the temperature. The acoustic room seemed cold. Literally... Every guitar I picked up... Out of tune.
This may be the best stocked guitar center in the Midwest. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. With the lack of inventory in most large chains this is a refreshing change.

I was asked to leave and offer curbside assistance for refusing to put a mask on my 7 year old son. The mask mandate is over in our county but GC corporate continues this mask silliness. It’s really not the fault of the polite guy working the counter but definitely not good for business in the long run. GC corporate, get a clue and quit acting like doofs.
Excellent customer service! I saw a guitar online.. was so hesitant to buy a guitar I hadnt seen or played. Was even more concerned because these guys (GC in Brentwood TN) had to ship out of state to me in the Northeast! They sent me more pics of the guitar and assured me if I had any issues I could return to my local GC. The guitar arrived in one piece and is beautiful! I was so pleased!
I’ve purchased a couple of guitars and several pieces of equipment from Guitar Center and had good service in the past. However, I bought a 12 string acoustic less than 6 months ago from them and just decided it wasn’t what I wanted. It’s barely been touched. Bring it in today to trade up towards the purchase of another and they won’t touch it. Last time I do business with them.
David was awesome & super helpful! Spoke with him multiple times about a rental over the phone and his customer service skills are 12/10. Will definitely go back to this GC in the future.
Ita a better and bigger store than the one at Rivergate which is really too small to have a decent selection of products. The guitar pedal section was comprised of a feedisplay cabinets of just the basics and one Boss display. Also, theyve really had a problem of ordering any kind of Behringer product. Guess because of their recent bankruptcy reorganization. Tried to order a Behringer poly 6 but none of their locations had one, so I ordered one from Seeetwater and had it here in a few days.
I have had a great experience with multiple employees at the store on multiple visits. Also they do a great job on repairs and set ups. I had an old guitar that needed strings and had a fret buzz. They took it and made it sound good as new. Setup and repair prices are very reasonable.

A musicians toy store. What a wesome friendly staff they have. I really like their current 90 day no hassle return policy. A musician can get lost in time playing around with all the items available. Thank you for making my experiences wonderful.
Both locations near Nashville offer the best in store service for musicians, and its the only brick and motor place around that has their level of inventory.

I’ve no issues with the employees who work at this establishment, and I know the world is gripped in fear, but to not even serve customers who cannot wear masks, whether it’s for health reasons or what have you, is uncalled for and unnecessary. I’m very disappointed in Guitar Center. I will be avoiding doing business with GC as much as possible from here on.

This store is more convenient than the Nashville store for me. Its definitely smaller with less selection, but the staff there are very helpful. Probably not the least expensive route to go, but you know what youre getting when youre there. Ive bought a couple guitars there, Ill probably keep shopping there because of their good service.

Wont shop or spend money in a store that requires a face mask in a county that has no mandate. Get with the times and adapt to the area you do business in.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! Youve gotta love their price match guarantee! Personally, I thought they went above and beyond in that all the employees agreed to wear masks after covid-19, and required any persons entering the store too as well. Kudos! If you can be safe, why not be?!

In and out in no time. I just needed some maintenance on a couple guitars and they got me taken care of. Friendly staff, great selection of guitars to play, everything youd expect from Guitar Center.
Would recommend for anyone who likes to go play their favorite or dream guitar, use their favorite or dream amp setup, or both, hang out, and meet a lot of other musicians. Possibly meet some famous musicians if your lucky. Their guitar lessons are great as well. They also got quality bass, drum, piano, and ukuleles with tons of accessories for each instrument.

At 11am this morning I entered the store and was met by Dave (I think). He was awesome but the help I needed with a return was above his authority level. Today was new manager Reece’s first day as a manager from Nashville. Not only did he help me rectify my wife’s birthday gift (that didn’t go over as planned) but he provided me a level of customer service I haven’t found many places. While helping me, he was answering phones, assisting other customers and working magic on the computer. It seemed like nothing could phase him. I appreciate him. Dave even continued to check on us through the hour and a half I was there. Truly amazing staff, clean store and excellent customer service.
Its a great small store. They dont have the single private rooms to try the acoustic guitars but they will accommodate and open up a lesson room. They have a drum set up to play and folks are generally chill. I found everything I needed. The also offer a military discount which is always a plus for me.

This is a fantastic location! The store is clean and easy to navigate. The employees are knowledgeable and very friendly. They stayed after closing with my son and I while he was trying out two different amps without a single complaint. I was thoroughly impressed with them! We will definitely continue to visit this Guitar Center.

I wish I could agree with the reviews of my peers but unfortunately, I don’t. I don’t feel welcomed at this location at all from a customer service standpoint. I worked with a rep on 11-30-18. I asked to listen to a particular speaker (before purchase) and the rep seemed bothered by my request. The rep stated he needed to go get a cable that would connect his phone to the audio equipment so I waited in the Pro Audio area for ten minutes. I look over to see the rep working with another customer and when I went to the service desk he pushed my request off to another rep as if it were nothing and my time wasn’t valuable. I didn’t even address this lack of service I simply asked if there was another location in the area - the rep I was facing gave me the closest location while the original rep I worked with stated “they are even more busier than us”. I went to the Guitar Center location in the 100 Oaks Mall and left out with a pair of speakers in 15 minutes. Yes, this location was bigger but I was greeted by three different reps (before I could get to Pro Audio) and once I got to where I needed to go, someone else proactively came over to help me. I ended up renting a pair of speakers instead of buying but I had all options and suggestions presented to me in a matter of minutes. I live right around the corner from this location but if I ever need to go to Guitar Center, I will give my business to the 100 Oaks Mall location. You should never sacrifice anything to deliver an exceptional customer service experience. Once again, I hate that I am not in agreement with everyone else and their experience and I don’t wish the results of my interactions with this store on anyone else.

1 star because of poor customer service. I came into the store in search of purchasing a guitar for my needs, but left empty handed. I have no experience in any guitars and asked several different employees for help. Needless to say, none of the employees took any time to assist me. However, I did notice those same employees helping other customers in much more depth than me. Was it because I didnt fit the demographic in that area ? Not sure, but I will not be returning to this store every again.
Great guitar shop. My online order for a guitar has not shipped in time for my sons Christmas (gift). Found an even better deal in stock today. Was assisted by a knowledgeable salesperson. Very happy with the product and service.

Smaller than the one at 100 oaks, but they pack in quite a bit. Good selection of instruments like elec and acoustic and accessories. Cant comment on other things like orchestral. Pretty good people running it there. Overall I recommend this place.
PROBLEMS! I do NOT recommend. Sold me a BASS online claiming it was new in box, received and it was clear that it was a FLOOR MODEL. Box was opened, bass damaged, had to drive 50 miles to replace. 2nd BASS sent to me, was also damaged and not playable. Had to go to them, 50+ miles, again, to get my money back. They did not want to do that. They demanded an In store credit. HATEFUL, ARROGANT and an enormous pain. I ended up buying a great bass guitar, same model, from a local Mom and Pop store in another county.

Ive had two great experiences. The first was a bass guitar purchase where, upon my complaint that the active pickups were draining battery when unplugged. The guitar tech immediately began working on the circuit board to correct the problem. Great service! The second was when I was buying a strat-mini for my son. The salesman gave me a great deal and was very helpful. More great service. I would recommend the Guitar Center in Cool Springs to anyone looking for great service and a good deal.

I love the store, but the sales associate I talked to was a little bit pushy and I ended up having a somewhat stressful experience
Huge variety (of course), but what we were really happy with, was our salesman. He was so patient and never pushy. He was able to give us the perspective we needed, in order to make an informed decision about a piano/keyboard for our daughter. Having played himself while growing up, he was able to tell us what we needed now, and what we might want to move up to, later.
This is one of the better Guitar Centers overall. Theyre helpful without being annoying and its easier to sit down and get to know an instrument a little bit here vs the Nashville location. My main issue is they lock up anything beyond starter guitars. I get it, theft, kids, etc... but I can go in many local guitar shops and pull very high end guitars off the wall without having to have someone come and unlock it for me. Last year it resulted in me buying a high end guitar at one of those places. They had the item here, but that extra step of it being locked up made the difference. I mainly come here to get strings and accessory items because of that.
As Guitar Centers go, this one is only so-so. Its hit or miss whether youll get staff thatll be as helpful as youd want. On the plus side, its not usually crowded, and theyre laid back about playing the instruments.
I went in Guitar Center the other day to shop for a beginners acoustic guitar for my wife. After standing around a bit, I finally approached a salesman for help. He answered my questions and had to leave the room to see if the guitar I wanted was in stock. When he came back into the acoustic room, he was helping another customer as if I wasn’t even there. I sat patiently as he conversed with the customer about her needs. He ended up calling a buddy of his and setting up a free guitar for said customer. I walked out and never will return.
Great stock, but no staff. Not the GC of the good old days. If you know what you want, save the gas and buy online.

Getting much better, when they first opened, they started out being very aggressive in getting you to buy something. Now, theyre pretty relaxed. Theyll let you come to them when youre ready. Keep it up and Ill give you that fifth star.

Ive made several purchases at this location, as well as many at the Nashville location. The prices are always competitive to online retailers, and every now and then its worth it to ask a sales representative if there are any additional discounts or sales currently that may not be posted. Overall this store is nowhere close to the quality of any other guitar center in driving distance for me.
Best staffed guitar store that I’ve ever been to! They are very patient and friendly and eager to help. I consider them not only staff but my personal friends.
Its a small guitar center compared to larger cities, and is a bit of a mess inside with stuff seemingly stacked wherever there is space. That being said, I thought the stock was good, staff were friendly, and prices were the same friendly process I have come to expect from Guitar Center. Just dont expect the same size as some of the bigger cities.
Definitely one of the better Guitar Centers Ive been in, probably due to its location near Music City. Friendly staff and good deals.

Everyone was very friendly. They turned on a drum set and two different keyboards for my 7 yr old to play while I shopped. Very clean. Prices are reasonable. Employees were not only friendly but knowledge and quick to help. Will be going back to purchase a Cajon for our son next month!

Go a few more miles to the Nashville store! They push protection plans even after youve said no. Even new, Ive had problems with two guitars. One baritone (absolutely destroyed when received in shipment), and one Ibanez (wouldnt tune properly, bought this right off the sales floor brand new). This is from this store specifically.
