Always have great customer service here. I bought my bbq from Brentwood Ace. They delivered, set up, and also took away the old one for free. Price was just as low too if not the lowest compared to other retailers. Great local business.

Larger selection than you might expect, most anything you could possibly want from a hardware store. Equipment rentals are also abundant if you need something small or large to perform a job on occasion. They even rent out those enormous pellet grills! Someday ill buy my own, but the few times Id use it out of the year, i just rent for a fraction of the cost from my friendly neighborhood Ace!

Entered store and was immediately asked how I could be helped, found part, paid and left, all within 15 minutes. Just great!!

Call them on a Sunday morning to sharpen my chipper shredder blades and they did it within 30 minutes and I was out of there! Cant beat that service on the Sunday! Thank you 😊

I get the whole mask thing. When we were inside and asked to put them on we wore it. When I went outdoors in their garden area I pulled it down(the governor said no masks outdoors anymore). My mom, who has copd, was told to wear it after she explained she has breathing issues!!!! They lost out on $400 sale today. No problem. Even those who are fully vaccinated....... yall have lost your minds and common sense!!!

This ACE is so customer service oriented. Their staff will spend 20 minutes with you solving your problem even if it is a $2 sale. It is what hardware stores used to be. The manager never stops moving and couldnt be more helpful. They put Home Depot and Lowes to shame.

You pay little bit more at Ace than the other two box stores but the value that you get from their professional staff is definitely worth it. I would choose this place over the other two box stores any day.

I have no idea what just happened on the phone with them. I had called and 1 lady answer the phone and I asked for an item was in stock she puts me on hold and goes to look for the item, then another person picks up and asks if they can help and I tell that person so and so was helping me and this person hangs up on me then I call back and tell this person so and so was helping me then I was asked what dept and I told her and was put on hold again and 3 times someone picks up and presses hold on me before another person answers and wants me to be put on a list to be called back when they could of had done that in the 1st place instead of me waiting on hold and games being played for over 10 minutes.

Great people great service great products Id go there and check out their little wall hanging decorations theyre behind the registers really cool I bought one and then went back about two more really nice they even let you go behind the counter and look at him theyre real nice people there thank you Ace

My first time here. Wasnt greated as I came in the do like the others Aces in the general area. I asked a young gentleman were a product was he sent me all the way to aisle 35. I looked around in the general area. A clerk seen me looking and didnt ask if I needed help. Passed on by. Then another clerk looked right at me noticing I was looking up and down the aisles. She turned her head so fast 😭. I had to ask her were the product I was looking for. She then told me on the other end of the store on aisle 22. Yes its a big store and is very overwhelming when you have never been in it before. I thought maybe I would get the more friendly experience that I receive in the Oakley, Antioch or Pittsburg store.

My husband and our dog love, love going there. My husband says he really doesnt like taking Moki because Moki is a magnet for attention. I have gone 3 times in 1 week and he is right!!! The staff at ACE go out of there way to pet Moki, ask to give him treats and they give him lots of attention. Theyre attentive is always extended to our needs; ask, direct and advise us till we have successfully got what we came for. You cannot find that at Lowes or Home Depot, its important for small towns such as Brentwood to have these businesses. South Bay, Penninsula and SF have grown to the breaking point and have long since lost what a neighborhood should be, bigger is NOT always better. Thank you ACE Hardware for always making my husband and our dog Moki feel at HOME.

This Ace Hardware is way over priced not to mention that their garden center is more like a garden catastrophe. Its lacking A LOT. I gave 1 star only because the employees are friendly and very helpful!

OMG, Its like I went back in time. Called them on the phone to see if they had a Green Mountain Grill Jim Bowie Stainless. They did so I hopped in my F450 and drove out from Livermore. It was worth the 30 minute drive. Can you say customer service. Its what a small town hardware used to be like all over the country. They help answer any and all questions. They make sure you know about all available options.Everyone was extremely professional and courteous, from Kevin the store manager, Natasha the cashier, to the kids who loaded the grill. A nice lady behind the counter offered my daughter a candy cane.I may end up driving 30 minutes once a month just to check out all their stuff. They have an excellent selection of rubs!Update- Forgot to mention Lee. Guy knows his grilling. To top it off. the AC adapter was not in my box when I got home and put the grill together. Went back out to Brentwood. Lee and Kevin had an adapter and a free bag of pellets... Have a great Christmas guys!

Wow! I have been to many of the east bay Ace Hardware stores but none of them compare to the massive selection I found at this location. Very impressive and diverse products intelligently arranged to be easily found. The staff however, wasnt as helpful as staff at some other Ace stores.

He remembers me every time I walk in. Super guy. They all go out of their way to provide super customer service. It is a pleasure to shop there.

Well the beginning of going to ace hardware was horrible no one to help me but there was this young lady. She was very busy putting away stuff but saw that I needed help and she stopped what she was doing to help me with my garden she knew so much which helped a lot since I knew nothing.I can’t remember her name I think it was sue but with my old age I can’t remember anything. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have gone back. Thank you so much young lady!!

From what I could see from the front entrance of your Brentwood store, it looked beautiful with the seasonal patio and outside decore! I would love to have been able to check out the rest of your store, but unfortunately you dont offer any electric cars for those customers who have walking disabilities and would appreciate the use of a cart!Thank you!

Ace is cool its the only hardware store near my house in Discovery Bay at that urs still in Brentwood not to far home depot is a lot longer of a trip but does save some cash when I go there but for little things here and there ace is great just cost more usually then home depot. Thay usually are stocked and carry a wide variety of items . Rental prices are ridiculous compared to Home Depot its like the full amount the machine cost and some people dont have money like that to put up . Im sure u could put your house up if u one but I didnt ask lol. Staff is cool nice enough. Overall. a nice place.

Ive lived in Brentwood for 11 years. This Ace is awesome. So helpful. I have stories. They go above and beyond. Plumbing dept is 2nd to none. Guy who likes motorcycles saved me time and money. I cant say enough!

Favorite Ace or even hardware store in the area.

We were doing some lighting work in the building and I had 8 hours to watch this place in action.This is a TRUE hardware store!!! If you need it then most likely it is available at Brentwood Ace Hardware. Orchard Hardware may have moved on, but this Ace has fully taken its place in my book.The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful whether it is their department or theyre just walking through and see the lost look on your face.My hat off to the owner and his son as they seem to set an excellent example of how to treat customers. In fact, if you dont know who they are youd very easily believe they were hired help.

Prices are somewhat higher than the big box stores but they compensate with superior customer service. Id rather support a smaller business. Also a great place to find barbecue rubs, sauces, and supplies that you cant find anywhere else.

This Ace is my favorite Ace of all!The staff is always helpful in more ways than 1! They are all unbelievably friendly, and many of them will just stop what they are doing and have a good old fashion chat. The staff is very knowledgeable or if they dont have the answer, theyll find it and make sure you get set in the right direction or guide you with your project or task at hand. From the Managers to the guys in the back of the store, they go out of their way to provide you with help and knowledge. I recently bought a GMG DB Pellet smoker there and man did they make sure i walked out happy and well stocked with the right gear. Of course, any issues, questions with your grill, dont hesitate to call or come in rang through the exit doors as they loaded up my GMG. Thanks B-Wood Ace!!I was in today, and again just a nice shopping experience.

Love the staff, always have sales and some times they have free fresh pop corn. How awesome is that shop for tools and equipment while you munch on fresh hot pop corn. Awesomeness

Huge, huge store ! Great helpful staff. Lots of different sections covering everything you can imagine.

They have an amazing customer service! Clay and paulette were very helpful helping me find some hardware for a bed. The workers here are very attentive to their customers. Younger children can also enjoy a visit here with there being free popcorn and little carts they can push around. Definitely would recommend this place !

I like it, and always have. If your going to have popcorn, do it till late. Not everyone comes before 2pm...My daughter loves popcorn, shell come work there just to do that and make sure everyone is happy!!

I like the Ace Hardware store in Brentwood. Employees courteous and helpful. However the Manager was rude. Asked me if I had checked out. Told her I was waiting to see if the clerks line was steal open. She acted as if I was trying to leave without paying. Ridiculous!. I am 65 years old with disabilities. Every Black Person you see is not a criminal. Stop the judgement. Not fair.

Best places in town if you need help on doing a project. The rental department always had a solution. 10 times better than home depot. Staff is always on top of their game. Plus so doesnt love popcorn!
