I had purchased a new rifle for my son at a gun shop in Hermon. I took it out to sight it in and found that it was 18 inches high, and twelve inches to the right at 50 yards. This seemed off to me but I tried to adjust accordingly. I found that the scope would not adjust low enough, and was informed by one of my fellow shooters helping me, that I should bring it back for the scope mount may need a shim in the rear. The shop where I bought the rifle said that I would have to send the rifle back to the manufacturer, for there was nothing he would do to help me. I said thank you and left. I called Van Raymond Outfitters and they told me to bring the gun over. They felt bad that this had happened to me. They recommended that I have a shim installed in the rear scope mount, then they could bore sight the rifle. I have purchased guns, hunting, and fishing supplies from Van Raymonds over the years and every time I have had top notch service, and competitive pricing! I think this store is amazing and they get five stars with me! Thank You excellent service!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to shop here more often for my father (RIP) for the holidays and birthdays, since they had a large variety of fishing and hunting supplies. Staff was very helpful answering any and all questions I had as well.
