I first used MacDonald Moving when I took a new job and relocated to Massachusetts in November 2019 - my company hired them as part of my move. They did a phenomenal job moving me in to my new apartment, and the foreman of the team helped recommend layouts to best utilize my living room. I was so happy with them, I hired them again when I did a local move in October 2021, and Im so happy I did. The team (with the same foreman) was professional and very helpful with move. I would highly recommend MacDonald Moving!

Highly recommend! MacDonald sent us a crew of three, yesterday. Our move was tricky: a lot of antique furniture plus the usual household goods, all going into a storage unit so that our antique barn cottage can be rebuilt. The lead guy on our move is a genius at packing and stacking. He got everything into the storage unit with room to spare. He showed the other two crew members how to wrap and prep everything. All three guys were super hard-working. We are 100% happy and will be using MacDonald again when we move back into our cottage. Also, the office staff were top-notch, helping me plan the move during the pandemic, communicating regularly and clearly about the inventory, insurance, scheduling, etc. Five stars all around!

Did our move last week. What a great bunch of guys. Hardworking, careful and considerate. We had a ginormous move and they were like a fine oiled machine. Very efficient and really knew what they were doing. Cant say enough about what a fantastic job they did!

I was looking for a cross country mover and got a few quotes from different companies. From start to finish MacDonald Movers/United Van Lines has been fantastic. Laura set expectations and set up a virtual meeting with me and Jon. Jon went room by room with me to see my inventory. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable and had great suggestions for my unique moving situation. Based on price and comfort I decided to use their services. I have had a few things come up with time and inventory changes and each time Jon, Dawn and Laura have been fantastic answering questions and creating a solution.I needed them to do two pick ups; one at my condo and another at my girlfriends storage unit a few miles down the road. They will also be holding my stuff for a few weeks since I have some lag time before I move into my new place (Jon gave me different storage options and their prices).Today was the first part of the move and I couldnt be happier. The 3 man move team came on time, was extremely professional and courteous and did a great job moving from both the condo and storage unit. The price was what I was quoted and it went very easy. In the next few weeks they will begin the second leg of the move but so far I would highly recommend.

The guys that packed our Pods were remarkable. They were most respectful of us, our home, our stuff and wore masks.The pods were packed top to bottom, side to side solid! I was extremely impressed. I thought I was a good packer, but I don’t hold a candle to these guys. They were faster than I expected. I definitely would recommend MacDonald moving.

I would highly recommend MacDonald Moving Services. Their staff was incredibly polite, professional, and cautious especially when handling antique furniture. Any move is stressful, but having MacDonald on the job gave us peace of mind that our furniture was in good hands! Logistics and scheduling also went very smoothly. The crew was on time and worked hard to get the job done in an efficient manner.

Our recent experience with McDonald for an interstate move with storage was excellent. Laura and John in the office were clear in communicating expectations and Austin and his team were professional, fast, careful, accommodating and personable.

Had an appointment today for an estimate. Explained I was moving an hour away right across the border and they start telling me it’s an interstate move meaning they’re going to charge me by the weight of the move. I start questioning the guy and he gets all defensive and tells me I should maybe look at other movers. I don’t know what’s wrong with this company but that was the most unprofessional ridiculously rude conversation I’ve ever had with a company. My suggestion find a mover that doesn’t try and jack up the price then get defense when you ask them about it. Something seems extremely shady!

They are the best …. Made my move so easy… from making the needed appointments to the move it self .. everyone was fantastic ..professional … and helpful .. can’t say enough good things about the two gentleman who showed up and moved me .. look no further if you need someone to move you..

Highly recommend MacDonald Moving Services. We hired them to move a few pieces of antique furniture we purchased at an auction. There was an unexpected snowstorm on that day, and I was incredibly impressed with the care and precautions they took to make sure our furniture was safely transported and placed where we wanted it. They made sure to protect the floors and carpets in our house and cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied with the move.

Everything went incredibly smooth and the team was great to work with! They were punctual, professional, and courteous. After moving the museum into our new location a few months ago, we called them back to handle the the reassembly of several larger display cabinets. We were amazed with the job they did, carefully planning the lifts, and following through in a well-coordinated team effort. Every last detail was accommodated. If you need a mover, these are your people. They are reliable, pleasant, on time and extremely fast. I had a local move a couple of months back. They are more reasonably priced than their competitors. I also had an emergency with my move where we were unsure of what next steps were on my end and they still continued to do whatever they could to help me regardless of me holding them up. I cant thank them enough for such a positive experience.

This is a big fat scam if u get an email from these guys for a work at home job.

I am EXTREMELY unsatisfied with MacDonald Moving services. They moved our entire house 1 state away and into a storage unit. I was not able to get into the storage the entire time it remained there because it was so full. However, about a year later when we are pulling out furniture we see that multiple pieces were damaged by MacDonald and tucked away without notification; it was not noted on their paperwork. The amount that we paid these scam artists makes this entirely unacceptable! Do not, I repeat DO NOT use MacDonald Moving services. They suck!

Do not use if you value your time, money and items. Most unprofessional. Charged me nearly double my estimate. Driver/leader was certainly a criminal. I would not recommend to anyone.
