My favorite book store, hands down. A perfect selection for me. Im happy to say that Ive been a repeat customer for ~15 years. The owners and folks who work there are super helpful. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

While I live in Virginia, Bridgton Books is my favorite independent bookstore! My parents retired to Bridgton in 1982, and I would visit them often (I lived in Maine for over 10 years, until my work took me to Virginia). Those visits nearly always included a trip (or two) to Bridgton Books. Part of the allure is that this was my Dads bookstore for 26 years. My Dad was a reader and so am I, and we like to read books (and newspapers) to learn about this world we live in, or, in my case, escape to another world a novelist has created. Justin and his wife run a wonderful little bookstore that, to me, is all you need or want in a bookstore. Im coming to Bridgton for two weeks in July, so expect many visits!

Bridgton Books is an absolute gem! Long-live the local bookstore. Over the years, in all seasons, weve enjoyed perusing the stacks for a great read (for any age) and finding that perfect gift or card. Recently Justin was kind enough to recommend and put together a care package for a recuperating loved one in the hospital. He even so kindly delivered it for us! Even though were far from Bridgton in another state, Bridgton Books is our beloved hometown bookstore.

Amazing store, manga section should be bigger than just 2 small shelves. Either way, got a good selection from those.

A cute bookstore that always has a great blend of classic books and interesting new arrivals. I find intriguing new titles here every year! Also, found some books that encourage little girls to be brave and happy with who they are!

This bookstore is wonderful. I lived in Bridgton Maine for most of my life and every time I come in this store I find something I love. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. If you can’t find what you are looking for they will definitely help you out. Whether it’s suggesting something that’s similar or ordering it for you online, they are the best. Can’t wait until I can come home to Maine to visit this store again.

One of my favorite bookstores since I was a little kid. They have every genre you could possibly want and youll find it hard to leave once you settle in. I could spend hours in a place like that. Nice to have some small locally owned bookstores left.

The best bookstore! Lots of books on hand and if Justin and Pam dont have it, they can order it and it will arrive more quickly than the on-line book sellers! Need a childrens book? Pam has impeccable taste and knows where every childrens book is in the store. Theres even a store cat. Perfection.

I have loved going into Bridgton Books since the store opened! Justin chooses the most amazing books and displays them so they catch your eye. I just bought a book called, Lessons in Love by Brad Oliphant. It got all five star reviews on Amazon. I always leave the store feeling happy and rejuvenated! This is an independent book store that has a great selection of current titles. I have also found very interesting titles in the discounted book section. The owner is friendly, very customer oriented and will order any book for you.

Always busy. It can get a little crowded in the walkways which can hamper being able to see the bookshelves clearly. Seems to have a good selection. Has a book store cat!

The Bridgton Book store is owned by two local residents, Pam and Jeff Ward. They are both lovely people and are active in the Bridgton Community. I like the warm feeling I receive when I go into the store or when I have a special book order. Pam and Jeff are always happy to help me by looking up books by the author when I dont know the title. They also always try to get me the best price finding out if the book is available used. The community is so fortunate to have such intelligent owners who have great customer skills. Bridgton Books is one of the hubs of Bridgton. I can always find great books and great friends. We all need to remember to shop local, when we can, to support the endeavors of entrepreneurialship at its best.

We have been buying books from Justin, Pam & Sue ever since they opened. We want this bookstore to go on for many more years. So, quite often, when we are not vacationing on Woods Pond, I call and order books and they are sent to our home. Stop in and you will be glad that you did.

Small and local, eclectic, up-to-date, and just plain funky! Its an old space with uneven floors and a rundown bathroom, but the staff is happy and helpful, the book selection is amazing for a small-town shop, and its just a really enjoyable place to spend some time browsing.
