Its a nice store.

They have everything you could think of from organic foods to the newest line of organic hygiene products. With the pharmacy being a big help you can get everything in one stop. The self check out is great and their reasonable shopping hours are nice. Being open till 10pm during the week is convenient .

I have been very happy with them every time I have shopped there, until the last two times. Last week and this week I have been trying to get a certain kind of cereal, and its not there. Its a very popular kind, but its always empty. The people who work there, have no idea why, or when it will be available. The only other issue is the long lines at the check out. You never get out quick. They only have one or two registers open between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Thats enough complaining, other than the minor things stated, I have to say; its very clean, the people are very helpful and I will continue to shop there for the bulk of my groceries.

The line waiting to get in moved very quickly. We found everything that we were looking for. We like Hannaford stores and look for them wherever we go.

I tried their To Go service where you order online and then pick up. I am convalescing from a foot surgery, so its not feasible for me to shop right now. It was not a bad experience; it was actually quite good. Shopping at your leisure from home was fairly simple. If you needed something specific, say, ripe bananas, there was a place to write a note to whom ever was picking out your groceries. Pick up was easy, however, if the item is out of stock, then you have to decide on the spot if you want a substitution or not. This will possibly change the total you thought you were going to pay. If youre flexible, this is not a huge problem, but if youre buying ingredients for a recipe, it is a little more challenging. All in all, a good experience for my first time using it.

Pretty disgraceful what I saw today in bridgton Hannaford while most retailers have made it mandatory for everyone to wear mask I saw no one counting and there was way over 163 people in that store today and watched a upper management male member wear no mask or shield and bag people’s groceries and wipe his nose in the sleeve of his shirt! Shame on you bridgton Hannaford management is not better then the rest of your employee and needs to have a mask on like everyone else!

They are remodeling this location. First time in a Hannaford but one if the best grocery stores Ive been in. Great seafood and meat counter. Good produce and cheese section. And very diverse local and craft beer selection.

Good service, clean and efficient

So on two occasions i have experienced absolute disrespect by associates. How they keep their job is beyond me. The last incident i had two associates belittle and mock me in front of everyone in the store. I sent in two written complaints and no resolution! These associates should have been disciplined and should have no business dealing with customers! If i were a manager of Hannaford i would be reading these reviews following up on them to find out who the associates are and discipline them! Hannaford is not the only grocery store in town! Drain the swamp! Get rid of employees that give Hannaford a bad name and have no regard for the customers that spend alot of money there and basically make it possible for the employees to get a pay check! Very sad!

Its a good place to shop, but they dont seem to care what people bring into the shop. They allowed two untrained dogs into the store, which is pretty upsetting to people who need an emotional/service dog. Otherwise I would say its pretty good.

Hannafords is a great place to shop for a bite to eat when Im on the road. Love their salt and vinegar wings.

Great, clean, friendly shop. They carry health food store items, which is nice because there is no longer a health food store in town, and the closest is 1/2 an hour away. No salad bar in this one. Great deli section, though. You can order lobsters already boiled from them, and they do a great job. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Its occasionally mobbed on holidays and in the summer, when tourists visit or stay at their camps. They have enough staff for it, though.

Continuously disappointed here. I had high Hopes with the remodel better things would come. Much of the staff seems to be there only for a check and could care less about customer satisfaction or support. Still holding out hope that it improves once the remodel is complete....

Reliable and reasonably priced

Great place. We were vacationing and staying nearby. The selection for our vegetarian and some vegan family was great, probably better than our market at home! Prices were reasonable too! Staff was all very friendly and helpful.

I love Hannaford because it is just big enough. It has everything you need at the right price. The big super stores are just too much.

Very disappointing to see that this Hannafords, unlike others in New England, does NOT require customers to wear masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. The governor of Maine has requested that masks be worn in public, and yet this Hannaford refuses to comply. Very disappointing, and very dangerous. You’ve lost my business for the remainder of this global emergency, and quite likely forever.

Great place to do your shopping.

It appears we have forgotten some other people on the front line that are not only at risk but put us at risk as much as first responders. Those people are the cashiers and points of contacts in grocery stores, gas stations and the like. I felt like I played Russian Roulette or Chinese Roulette yesterday when shopping out of absolute necessity. These people should be provided masks and gloves at the very least. They are a point of contact that is being entirely overlooked!!

Even though there is a remodel going on, I can always find exactly what Im looking for. Everything makes sense. The employees are all very nice and super helpful. Cashing out is always fast and fun!!

Great selection, great customer service

Placed my Hannafords To Go order days ago with no pickup times available until today. That is fine, but what is completely unacceptable is that I received a call this morning from some cashier at the Bridgton, Maine store that they will not be filling my order. They had my order for days and inform me on the day of pickup.Like China, these actions will come back to haunt them in the future when this situation passes. I had every reason to believe I planned appropriately and then last minute they said basically too bad we dont care if you can find the items you ordered now but good luck hunting all that down!Hannafords have proven themselves a company not to be trusted during an emergency situation, a company that doesnt give a rats a** about the customer and one to clearly stay away from now or anytime in the future. The absolute height of irresponsibility!!!I called corporate and was told there is no management to speak with. What are they at home cowering under the blankets???This is not a New England owned company and not even a United States Company but is owned by yet another foreign entity, Ahold Delhaize in the Netherlands. Time to stop doing business with companies that are not USA companies. Hopefully this crisis has taught Americans something!As if you dont already know this - the right thing to do would have been to suspend ordering not canceling orders of people that believed they had the items we needed and ordered days ago. Why do people not understand the difference between right and wrong anymore? Now I probably will not be able to find the items I ordered when I believed that through my efforts and planning I would be prepared for the days ahead. You, Hannafords will be responsible for further spread by doing what you have done to orders placed days ago!!

Hannaford has a good selection of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy! They also have great items, and a lot of seasonal things. I definitely recommend it for groceries!

Shop small businesses. Im not anti Hannaford, Im anti waste, and the amount of produce and unsold, out dated food products that Hannaford trashes out daily is appalling. What ever happened to stock what you can sell? With that being said, the staff is awesome, the store is clean, and of course, the selection is endless. They are really trying to give walmart a run for their money.

Every time I use the deli at this hannaford they give me the wrong thing. I dont use them often obviously but if Im in the area I think ill.give them a chance. The associates clearly dont know the difference between the products. The manager should be disciplined for the inability to train associates.
