I love the meat department here at Safeway. You cannot find service like this anymore. I love how accommodating the butchers are and willingness to help you with what you are looking for. I have been buying all my meat here. The quality and service is great. I use a lot of soup bones and they almost always have bones available! If they dont have what you are looking for, make sure you ask the butcher!

Not one of the prettiest stores, but its been there forever lol.. good customer service, and friendly staff make up for the luster it may lack

This safeway has definitely been disappointing lately I understand were still in the middle of a pandemic but there usually not stocked with much & there cheap chicken Mondays are a joke either they dont have the chicken fryers dont work or theres nobody back there why advertise something and not be prepared for it

When you are used to the West coast Safeway, these are such a disappointment. The Signature Cafe is missing so many things the wonderful dips, the great fresh salads, ready made sandwiches, to name a few. The store is not as clean in appearance of presentation. Even the floral department and plants department does not compare. It may very well have been clean, but it appears old and run down. Definitely NOT what I am used to from the Safeway franchise! I am not sure I will continue shopping here or not. I was so excited to have a store from back home, until I got inside. Definitely NOT the same!

Never too crowded at this location. Always well stocked. Seems like 80/20 ground beef is getting hard to find at some grocery stores but here its always available, and in the large family size too.

Good quality groceries and deli.

Came in for their Monday fried chicken special. In and out in 15 min.

The store is not the largest but it has plenty of product. The coupons are better here than some of the other competition they have in town. Over all a very good store and friendly staff.

I like to run in and get a good hot lunch when im working near this Safeway. Way better than regular fast food.

Ive been going to this store reluctantly for 2 years. Corporate Safeway: If there is a store that needs change its this location! Not the friendliest staff for a Safeway. Dont expect any pleasantrees from the employees. Probably stems from managements attitudes towards their customers: some of the rudest behavior from the daytime management/customer service desk. Generally I will go to the Broadlands (Broomfield) or Erie store (when visiting family) to do any substantial shopping. I like the better atmosphere and much friendlier staff & managers.

Their staff was very mean to my mom I wish I could give them a zero star review they are very mean to people they do not give you service for example my mom was there last week and she was trying to get some product from the store for my baby brother and that’s when she was having credit card problems and she was asking hey can I please pay for this with cash and the lady North her text I would totally recommend going to target they are very bad people everybody should just quit and they should close down forever that is why I never wanna go to Safeway again so please don’t go to Safeway take my advice and just go to any other place because that will make you much much happier and your day will not be ruined just like my mom‘s day was ruined and my brother‘s teeth were hurting very bad and this is a true story from a real person not from target I swear to God I live in Brighton Colorado and I love Costco and target so go to one of those places not Safeway thank youjfjfjdjjfjfjfjfjjfjfjfjjfjfjfjfjjfjfjfjfjfjfjjgjgjgjjgjgjfjfjfjjfjfhdhhdhdhdhd

New self checkout very easy and fast.

Used to carry items I used. But no longer carries lots of the same items. Now have to order from Amazon

Clean and fresh inside which is a pleasant surprise from the parking lot. Excellent customer service! Well stocked. Yet another store where you cant trust the customers to care about safety recommendations. Not at all crowded though and I only saw 1 shopping service shopper where down the street, you are literally tripping over and competing with rude shoppers.

I just went through the self check out at the Brighton Safeway on East bridge street. I was having a challenge when I scanned my merchandise and couldnt proceed so I raised my hand and waved it at a worker there. A manager named Jesse came over and accused me of stealing saying you didnt scan this and you were stealing it and thats why it wouldnt let you proceed. I told her I was not stealing it Otherwise I would not have called her over for help. She was incredibly rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever. I proceeded with my checkout And left the store. I have never seen a manager treat a customer in such a rude way and cannot believe that Safeway would approve of any such behaviour. If the corporation is OK with this we should consider shopping elsewhere

Just watch out for the international cuisine items. For example i bought this and no joke it expired the same day i bought it. It was still used and nothing happened but be aware.

I found what I needed and the cashier was kind and helpful. Grateful that the store was open until 23:00

Never go to this location. Poor meat selection and a lb of ground beef was $10.

Always clean and well stocked but always seems a bit depressing. Could use update to make it brighter. Friendlier clerks would also help a lot. Good bakery.

Went thru self checkout and witness the manager Jessi be very rude towards another client that was leaving. Then as well towards my mother who was also in the self checkout lane. Accusing my mother of being a thief cause my mother didn’t realize that her second creamer didn’t scan. Jessi could have spoke to my mother with some class. Definitely think HR should send their “managers” thru a customer service class! I’ve been a manager for another retail for 8+ years and I would have never or allowed any of my employees to speak to any customer like Jessi did! That’s two customers in with 5 minute window. Think you should reconsider ur “manager”

Kroger, or King Soopers as it is called here in Colorado, seems to be winning the grocery store battle, but I still end up at Safeway when it is convenient or they have a meat sale. The checkout personnel are always friendly, and I appreciate having the store here.

The employee didn’t talk to me when ringing me up. Not even a hello.All the self checkout registers were closed so I had to have a cashier handle my stuff which I’d prefer not to.There were 8 people without a mask. No enforcement of the rules.Clearly no one here cares about their customers.

Is there a zero star option? I guess that is an exaggeration, they have meats at excellent prices. However, that little plus goes to the brand in general. Pricing is controlled by (I assume) their corporate office. I, however am focusing this review on this particular store.The Good: Parking lot is safe but, there constantly seems to be homeless that hang out right outside the store. Produce section always seems well kept and fresh. The store is mostly clean, never seen it noticeably dirty.The Bad: Deli food is usually over cooked and old, unless you happen to buy it at the right time. Most of these items should be discarded at end of day like the fish but... they dont. They cover them with plastic and remove plastic in morning and continue to sell sell them in the morning. I dont understand this since they have signs reading fresh fish daily. The Chinese food they have? Can be possibly from the day before. I dont understand this, why cover with plastic and sell the next day? Maybe its just me but, I feel like it should be made fresh daily especially given the prices.The Ugly: Every employee (LITERALLY) is unfriendly. NO ONE smiles, no one days Hi. Noone even remotely pretends or acts like they want to help you.I tried to separate my criticisms from Individual Store (this location) vs. Safeway Corporation. If I failed, I apologize. My intent was to critique this specific location and not the Safeway brand. The Safeway in Thornton and in Fort Lupton are both excellent stores. Too bad, thus location cant get on board.

This store is clean and has great deals once in a while. We shop here for the sales and love the monopoly game when its out. We save money by using the stores coupons and add them directly to our club card. Staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable!

Went for scheduled covid shot. They told me I had to give insurance and Medicare cards or they wouldnt provide shot. Said they are billing insurance. Shot is free for everyone. No insurance required! What are they up to?! My girlfriend got her shot at a Safeway in denver . No insurance info reqired. No threats to refuse shot either.

Great! Store was clean, had an easy layout. StFf was very hopeful. Prices were co.petitive.

This is one of the oldest grocery stores in Brighton. It doesnt look fancy from the outside being in an old strip mall. However, inside the store is very clean and they have a good variety of products.

Very nice people..Roseanne in the Deli was super friendly and helpful. They were out of fat free half and half that was on sale and Lucy gave me a coupon to make up for it .I also found out that their fried chicken recipe is Albertsons original fried chicken recipe...yay...Albertsons used to have the best fried chicken and now Safeway does :)

Both of the King Soopers in Brighton have a better selection, are cleaner, and are much nicer overall. I used to shop at Safeway for meats where I used to live, but this location has very limited selection and what they do have seems to not be as quality as what Im used to getting previously.

I have stopped being a customer since I worked for them (not this location, but Safeway). They were literally the very worst company I ever worked for. They seriously made up FALSE allegations because I reported them to HR for other bad treatment.That is known as retaliation and its illegal.So since they were not an honest employer, then they cannot be an honest merchant either.I do not recommend them.

In need of a face lift, but honestly it was fine. It had groceries and that is all that matters. Would be nice to see a remodel though.

Safeway stores always has their meat Cutters on duty fresh cut meat always not like King Soopers or Walmart.

They have a Karen that works there that does not act crazy and whack like most other Karens in this world. She was super nice, super helpful and super friendly. They have always treated me well, their prices are good and they are often clean unlike King Soopers on Bromley

Good old safeway!!

Prices are always higher than other stores but I like that they arent crowded. However, im not sure I will be going back after today. Today the clerk felt like it was ok to talk down to me and tell me Covid wasnt as communicable as everyone thinks and that I shouldnt worry about touching the keypad (I didnt make a fuss, I was just looking in my ourse for a pen to use rather than my finger). I was wearing and n95 mask and that should have clued her into the fact that I have my own beliefs and that tgere might be a medical reason I choose not to take risks. I didnt berate the guy in front of me who was in line with his tween son, neither with a mask, nor did I address the fact that my cashier was only wearing her mask over her mouth, which probably violated state health codes in a suorr market. Given my tolerance of other peoples choices I dont appreciate hearing the clerks opinion on how Im wrong. Extremely unprofessional.

If your going to limit when I can purchase something I rather not shop here at all,or just dont sell the product. Rude cashier!

Ok here goes so recently Safeway hasa add for Tbone steaks wentto buy some started looking at them they had cutout the side thats called a Newyork strip so all the Tbones ended up being 1/2 of the steak.
