We went there with lots of questions about buying a 9 mm. After trying out several for fit, I found the one I wanted but Darryl made sure it was a rt fit for me. He then went over loading the magazines as it was really hard for me and even gave me a little helper. Love this place and love the owners personality. He certainly is very knowledgeable about his passion.

One of a few stores supposed to be open on monday. Arrived to find note on door be right back with neon red open sign all lit up. Waited about 15 to 20 minutes no one showed up. Gave up and left. Not a good way to do business

He had no bait, no ammo, and no knowledge of the areas to locally fish.

Owner was a little rough around the edges, but also very fair with our dealings. Bought a shotgun and found out it was out of my agencies policy. Owner gave me full trade in price for it an ended up getting one within policy. He didn’t have to do that and a lot of shops would charge a restocking fee of some sort. I shook the guys hand and he said “no one ever does business like that anymore. Go ahead and grab a hat on your way out, young man.” I will always check this store for what I’m looking for before going anywhere else.

Great customer service! The owner is very knowledgeable! I will definitely go there again!if you know what your looking for and have some knowledge of the weapon you intend to buy you will get a good deal! If you go in there not knowing anything about the weapon your interested in you have no business buying a weapon. That’s how it should be!

Went in there for fishing Bait...we dont sell bait??? Tried to give them business, sent some guns to them and would have gladly paid him for his time, but he told me to go elsewhere?? Bights-N-Blows Shop

Darryl is a solid man who sells quality products. I have bought guns and fishing equipment there my entire life, and I have always been treated fairly. The other reviewers need to get over themselves and realize that hunting is a mans game. Go to Starbucks if you wanted to be greeted with a fake smile.

I love this shop its old school, nothing fancy and nothing like a Walmart. I bought two guns, ammo and accessories from Darrell. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about guns and hunting as Im just getting started. Take the time to get to know him and hell answer any questions you have and if he really likes you hell share his sweetcorn with you. Plus support your local businesses, I highly recommend the Bait-N-Bullet Shop.

Worst experience in a gun shop. My husband and I went in to sell a rifle, all seemed good.. After the sale we started to talk and out of nowhere he began to be rude, telling my husband that he looks stupid for open carrying a gun on his hip, then to me as well, went on to asking my husband what if he were to pull a gun out on me, then quickly puts his hand in my face like he had one in his hand and asked what would you do?.. Made me feel very uncomfortable and thinking he was gonna pull one on me. Then asked my husband how much he got his pistol for, so he looks down at it and the guy tells him dont pull a fast one on me. Never going there again, Ive never had anything remotely happen like that before.

This place is the WORSE place to buy guns or ammo. His ammo is 5-6 bucks more then anywhere else, guns way over priced as well. He has the worse personality I have ever encountered in any business setting. Darryl the owner has always been mean, rude, unhelpful and standoffish. I have NO idea how he has stayed in business so long. He will not listen to you, he won’t help you, and he thinks he knows everything. Sadly I have bought at least 10 guns from him over the years, every time was a horrible experience. Why did I buy there then? Because for a long time it was the only place around.I will be truly happy when his store is gone forever from this town. Every one i know calls him the gun Nazi. It is guys like him that give gun owners a bad name. If some one opened a real gun store and treated there customers nice they would make a million bucks in brighton!

Myself several of my friends and many of my coworkers have gone into this store only to be judged in the first 30 seconds to go in most of us are big Burly construction workers but we all work hard make good money have no records in are generally good people when you go to the counter and ask to see a weapon in the man just stares at you and tells you no how would you ever go back people talk about this place Everywhere I Go on how bad he is if you dont look the part Im pretty sure the only sales too clean-cut 60 year old men

This is the worst gun shop on the planet. Pretty sure the old guy who owns it also owns the building and thus doesnt have to pay rent. Probably just keeps it so he can buy guns for himself. Hes a complete and total douche. Do yourself a favor and drive a mile up the road to Kopps Tactical, its one of the best gun stores Ive ever been to.

I’ve known the man that runs the place since i was 6 and i’m 32. He can be cranky but he will also do anything for ya if you are respectful and kind. He is old school. I like that.

Honestly I dont have a clue how this man makes any money. I went in there looking for an FFL that I could transfer a lower receiver with. He rudely told me that he doesnt do that (between phone calls) and that any FFL dealer who did if a moron. He then gave me his unwanted opinion about how stupid I am for building an AR-15 instead of buying a new already built AR-15. After checking his prices on some his over priced firearms I left, he didnt care much since he was more interested in the phone calls.

I have dealing with this place since 2001. Purchased several firearms and accessories at this store. It may not have the glitz and glamour of the big box stores but it has the knowledge and customer service that far exceeds the big box stores.

The man was crude and a Letcher. Didnt acknowledge me or the fact that I was there to spend money. He only spent the duration of my visit ogling my girlfriend and talking about how he limits his ammo sales to one box per customer.His prices were over the top.His must live in the store due to his unkempt look and smell. Well that and theres a visable bed in the back.In my opinion hes not the place to go or the man to see. When his good ol boy customers start dying off his business will go down the drain.
