Charming store with a large selection. The owner was lovely and wound my yarns for me while we had a little chat. All in all a very nice store. I will be back for sure! If you are like me and prefer using yarns without acrylic this place is where it’s at. Plenty of higher end yarns on sale too! This store absolutely deserves your business.

These ladies are so kind and knowledgeable. They carry a nice variety of yarns and are very helpful in getting you started on new projects. I only shop here because the Joann yarns don’t last and the ladies here aren’t at all snobby like some yarn shops I’ve been to. Always a treat to visit Unwind!

Mary and the team at Unwind Yarn Shop LLC in Brighton have something for everyone. The shop abounds with samples to inspire and help a knitter know what is possible with the yarns in stock. They have a great selection of unique project bags, project kits, and a variety of notions and needles to be able to work up whatever project you choose.They have had numerous unique class offerings as well as a walking and knitting group in appropriate weather/times.Often, they collaborate with an indie dyer, bag maker, or local artisan for one-of-a-kind offerings that cant be found elsewhere. Keep them on your list of Local Yarn Stores to visit!

They stay on the cutting edge of what is happening in the yarn world! Very attentive to their customer needs. They have a wide selection of needles from ChiaoGoo, Lykke and others. I LOVE this yarn shop! I get inspiration every time I visit because they have so many great samples made up. Theres a wide selection of yarn and pre-Covid, the classes were great. Now I participate in the Zoom sessions and enjoy those too. I recommend this shop for anybody looking for a knit or crochet project and a fun place to visit.

I bought a Santa pillow kit from you and the beads provided would not work, holes were too small for the yarn to thread through and kept breaking. I had two more rows of Santa’s to complete and ran out of beads. I called the shop two weeks ago and you said you would mail me more but I never received any. I won’t be returning to your shop.

Yummy Yummy yarns. There is nothing ordinary about this shop. The knowledge and expertise of the instructors is outstanding. The fibers are like a fine art collection. The colorways are spectacular. I love all the samples the shop has made. It helps to narrow my focus. Highly recommend!

Unwind has been my go-to LYS for about a year. The talented team just plain works smart and hard to make this a great experience for those who visit. My skills are far better, knowledge is stronger, appreciation for the art and craft and community is deeper. I hope to continue this fiber arts journey at Unwind for years to come, as new continues to mix with the familiar.

I really enjoy this store for their owner, customer service and friendly staff. They are all talented knitters and I’ve learned a lot from them. I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve taken classes and learned crochet and joined in with their knit alongs. Come check them out and join a class!!

I love this shop. Mary doesn’t let it known but she works at building friendships with in her classes. It’s one advantage to your LYS. They know you, not only how skilled you are as knitter but which class you would fit in best. They always have time to help even if it’s just a twisted stitch.

In addition to 3 classes per day (morning/afternoon/evening) there are numerous opportunities to expand your skills with specialty classes. This is a must-stop yarn shop with a wide selection of yarns and notions.

Unwind is truly a place to unwind!! I have learned so much from the instructors in the classes I am taking. I started taking classes again after being away for about a year and am making progress every week making things I never dreamed I could.
