So I bought a dehumidifier from them and it started to develop problems with the switch that supposed to shut off the machine when full. It stopped working and overflowed onto the carpet. I looked through all of the paperwork, the manual and all the receipts that came with the unit, the warranty isnt posted anywhere in their literature, so be very careful about any purchased made through this company. Its only its only a year and 4 months and they say its out of warranty when I had purchased the machine it said it came with a 2 year warranty on the purchase page on the computer.They arent honoring the warranty. The manual doesnt state it anywhere either.
HORRIBLE!! We received our $800 air purifier damaged via transportation. We immediately called and sent pictures. We were assured that this would be handled quickly... that someone would reach out to us about how to exchange this unit for a new one. When you spend that much money, you expect a product that isn’t damaged. Still haven’t heard back from this company. Even reached out to the sales person we spoke with and he said he would push it up the chain again. Nothing. We then emailed them. Nothing. They have good products for sale but too much hassle if something goes wrong. Which is unfortunate. Take your time and money elsewhere!
I bought a very expensive (~$500) HEPA filter dehumidifier for my basement. Less than 2 years later (but after the 1 year warranty) the unit has cracked. I have tried contacting customer service but have not heard anything back. I am disappointed, because the dehumidifier worked great before it cracked...Please help!EDIT: just a note about the reply from owner. They did get back to me on that occasion, but that was the third time I tried to contact them before I ever heard anything back.They were not able to do anything about the failing dehumidifier since it was just out of warranty. Overall, I am disappointed with the product and the support.
This is a business that gives very poor information about humidifiers. I purchased one, which they assured me would not require distilled water. When used the machine put out white dust on everything in the room. I questioned them and they recommended a filter which I purchased. This did not help and they told me to contact the manufacturer Guardian Pure. I did and they said the information given me by Allergy was incorrect and I should not have been told to buy it. This process took more than their 30 day guarantee and therefore they would not take it back or exchange it. Terrible customer service. I should have bought it from a Best Buy who stand behind their items. I would not buy from Allergy Buyers club and cannot recommend them!
I have enjoyed my air purifier very much. Staff was enjoyable to deal with.
If I could rate them worse I would! I ordered filters from them and after a month I decided to contact them to see what was going on. I was blown off by their customer service twice! unacceptable. People avoid this place if you can because they are thieves. will be filing a complaint legally
Ordered a replacement filter, wrong one delivered. Asked for assistance in fixing the problem. Too much time passed. No responsibility that their site claimed that the ordered filter WOULD fit my HEPA unit when it did not. In other words, I had the right brand, model number and size. So I agree with the other reviews, do business with ANYBODY else.
While providing useful products to help those who suffer allergies, the quality of some products is uneven - and the customer service team and professionals who provide advice often fail to perform.I turned to Allergy Buyers Club for a number of bedding products - and was willing to purchase high end, more expensive pillows in order to achieve both relief from allergies, protection from dust and other irritants and risks, and true sleeping comfort to help with neck, shoulder and back issues. I made my selections after talking with the advisors/professionals. My first two pillows were fairly good (not excellent given the price), and I purchased two additional (should have looked elsewhere but having invested a lot of time took the easy way out). Then I called back for advice on additional pillows for the other bed - and this time, the advice was downright off base. I ended up keeping two additional pillows though I could have waged a dispute given the advice had been wrong but since Allergy Buyers Club does not pay for return shipping, the cost and trouble of the return was not worth the battle.However, in addition, all of my orders took weeks and weeks to get delivered. Despite many tries, I could not get accurate information on order status and expected delivery dates. Finally in the end, when the last order still showed in process, I called and cancelled it. And then, the order was shipped out to me anyway, in spite of my cancellation (through a live representative via a phone call). So I tried to contact customer service to come pick up the package because I was not accepting delivery. Well, good luck. It took one week - of leaving voicemails (suddenly there was no one answering the phone at Allergy Buyers Club - either on the order line or in customer service; I had to leave voicemails) and sending emails - with no replies. Finally, I got a real, live person on the phone. And what was the resolution? OK, grudgingly, they would send UPS to pick up the package - but it would take 7-10 days AND of course no refund until the package got back to them.I will not do business with Allergy Buyers Club again. The concept is good. Execution: poor.
Not an honest description of their products. Read the fine prints for returns. Outrageous restocking fee !!!!
BUYER BEWARE! As another reviewer stated, you need to read the small print before making a purchase from this company. I purchased a $299 pillow and after a week, decided I wasnt happy with it. They refused the return stating it was against the law for them to accept opened bedding. I guess every other department store in the county failed to get that memo.
