Im not an avid coffee drinker, but I do like a good iced coffee every now and then. We just moved to Bristol from Texas, and this place came highly recommend, so Im going to pay it forward via this review. I asked for iced coffee recommendations and the owner showed me the top three picks of their customers. I landed on the sea salt caramel and he offered to make his custom version with white chocolate and oat milk. This. Is. Delicious! The coffee is hand picked from his familys farms in Columbia. No hate towards the chain coffee places in town, but why go there when Café Real is local?

Such a gem! Coffee is amazing, the brownie was decadent, and the location has a relaxing outdoor door area in the back. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Will absolutely be back!

We literally have not bought any other brand of coffee since the grand opening of this shop!!! All my friends and family across the country know about it because we even travel with it. My brother who lives in Florida no longer wants to drink any other coffee, now, too!!! If I run out while on the road, I order it to be shipped to where I am. Out of all the amenities I would have to say the customer service is whats best of all; you almost feel like your visiting family when your there, just talking to the owner and hearing about the family farm where the beans are grown and the process in which coffee can be made is amazing. if your in Bristol this place is a must visit.

Do not miss this place! While travelling the East Coast, I visited on a whim. The medium Tinto with a splash of cream may be the best cup of coffee I have had this year. I loved the atmosphere and product. The owners were kind and incredibly helpful. The passion for their product is evident in everything I tasted. An easy 5 out of 5 - I only wish I lived closer to visit more often.

No matter what type of day you are having, as soon as you walk into Cafe Real you feel part of the family. My new favorite! No more Starbucks for me! Cafe Real is a gem! The perfect size, Cafe Real is clean with a few table & chairs as well as a few stools to enjoy your coffee andat the counte. Seating is limited. The decor is welcoming & cozy. Six feet floor signs keep you properly distanced and tables are space more than enough distance apart. Masks are required.There is a patio outback and you can sit and listen to the Pequabeck River meander on its way. Real Columbian coffee is served here. I had a partial lesson from the owner Eduardo. He covered everything from how coffee grows to coffee farmers to social responsibility. I learned the variety of coffees and the difference between french press or siphoned coffee and the coffee industry. I was super impressed. I often buy two coffees, one hot & one iced before as they open & close early. Check their hours so you dont miss out. Steve usually makes my coffee and gets it right all the time! They support local vendors so you can purchase everything from homemade granola to sugar scrubs. They have homemade coffee infused chocolates for sale. I have tasted and can say my sampling was delicious! They are now offering breakfast sandwiches made by a local food truck vendor and varieties of waffles and other sweet treats. Latin music is often playing, so I get a quick salsa step while in line with a sweet older woman who is there many times when I arrive. They have wifi in case you need to take a break from working from home and be in a different atmosphere. The cost of the coffee beats Starbucks. They have specials $1.00 iced tintos for the month of February and March! You can get in some interesting conversations with customers. If you love coffee then you dont want to miss this place! I long line formed out the door while I was waiting for my coffee. I think it was the first time I smiled at the thought of being in a long line since back in the day when waiting in line for any Prince event!💜☕ @vettie_goes

Beautiful, sparkling clean and welcoming. I received an education about coffee in general and the coffee they sell. And then ordered a latte - it was the best coffee I have had in years. I dont drink coffee very often (cutting down on caffeine) but will go back for an occasional treat - and buy coffee beans for friends and family.

The same family farms the coffee in Colombia before shipping it to the US to be freshly roasted and ground before it’s served up with the warmest, most genuine service around! Try some of the chocolate treats and macarons if you love yourself at all- you will be so thrilled that you did. This is so much more than a coffee shop, it’s a cultural experience, it’s a community, and it’s home!PS- If you have horrific heartburn, like I do, Cafe Real’s Dark Roast with oat milk in a French press is not likely to upset your stomach! That means you still get to enjoy a warm cup in the morning, start your day right, and not feel sick or in pain like you will with Starbuck’s, Dublin, or Rebel Dog!

Dame Tinto. I stopped by for a cup of coffee and was thrilled with the experience. Eduardo is very knowledgeable about his craft and explained in the most detailed way possible. I have learned about the process of roasting coffee as they do it ON SITE. He even took the time to explain each extraction method that they use. I even purchased a bag of their 100% Columbian coffee to spread the word. They have each roast Prepackaged and ready to go. I highly recommend this place and will tell you to drive out of the way to go here. Very clean, easy entry, and a patio to enjoy your drink outdoors. Last but not least the waffles!! They are a must try. This coffee will give our Mocha Dark Chocolate an amazing boost.

If someone told me that a gourmet artisanal coffee shop with single origin fair trade beans roasted onsite was opening in Bristol, I would have been- shall we say- skeptical. Unlikely though it would seem, as a quality coffee nerd I am pleased to say it is now a reality! I will touch quickly on the setting, it is located in an improving area of the city, parking is available on the street, as the nearby lot is is being repaved. The exterior and interior are clean and inviting. The inside space is warm and cozy and the staff is exceptional. The real story is the coffee though, and it is - in a word - incredible. Anyone with any sense of taste whatsoever will easily notice a difference between this coffee and anything from a franchised chain. If you prefer hyper sweet coffee containing beverages, a chain may be best for you, but if you want to experience coffee as it was meant to be, you must give Cafe Real a try. I have gone nearly everyday since the week they opened and intend to make it a habit. My favorite is the Tinto, their house specialty regular coffee. The flavor is deep and rich, evoking fond memories of; sitting by a camp fire with friends (sweet smokiness), smelling fresh ground cacao (hints of chocolate), and a glass of fine red wine (finishing with glimmer of dark fruit flavors right at the end). I mix mine with a touch of cream to deepen even further the luxuriant experience. Maybe youre not quite that connoisseurial, but it will still be an experience if you choose to take the opportunity to savor your visit to Cafe Real. As a small business owner myself I am passionate about businesses that truly care about what they are doing. The love for what they do and their desire to share what they love with others is rare and should be rewarded with reviews like these. Enjoy!

I started buying this coffee ground for home consumption a few months ago. It is, by far, the best coffee I have ever had. I’m a dark roast fan so that is what I buy. I own a Keurig but I have an adapter for it so I fill my basket with the coffee and sprinkle some cinnamon on top before I brew it. I also drink it black. The taste is second to none!

I found out about this place like a year ago, me and my friend like to explore local coffee places so we would go every time my friend was in town. The owner was always so nice to us. He would always talk to us and make conversation with us. There was one day we went in and my friend made conversation about how her guilty pleasure is putting a little too much sweetness in her coffee and it was a habit she couldn’t break. The owner offered to trade her very sweet latte for 10 cups of regular coffee, one every time she came to visit because he wanted to help. The whole conversation was filled with positivity, we stayed there talking longer than anticipated. There are many small businesses I support but this visit made had a big impression on me and even a year later I still remember. After we left, I remember telling my friend, “Wow, I have never met a stranger that was so willing to help and go out of his way to not only offer you the coffee but to encourage you with such kind words.” Cafe Real not only sells the BEST Colombian coffee but also represented by the most genuine people.

I went to Café Real for the first time today after meeting Eduardo at the Bristol Home Show and I was not disappointed. I have never been a fan of coffee. After making Eduardo aware of this so he made it his mission to make me a cup of coffee I would enjoy. I left there with the accomplishment of finishing a full cup of coffee for the first time.Not only is their coffee and hot chocolate delicious, but the atmosphere is amazing as well. The staff is comprised of some of the kindest people I have ever met. I found myself enjoying long conversations with them about the coffee industry and the environment as a whole. The customers in the shop are just as kind. Everyone greets one another with a smile and are very welcoming, offering conversation and friendship while you enjoy your drink.Eduardos mission with this shop, and his coffee overall, is admirable and I would greatly recommend checking out the café. He is truly trying to make a difference in the coffee industry; something that I wish more coffee production companies would follow suit in.

The best coffee around! Ive lived in the Bristol area for a very long time and have always wanted to go to place close by that served REAL coffee, (not this watered down stuff that some places serve.) The owner Eddie is a really nice guy and knows how to take care of his customers. The pastries there are good (Harvest Bakery) too! If you havent been there yet I definitely reccomend checking them out! They also have a great rewards program!
