I really like the convenience of this market, however I recommend they check the shelves more often. I’m acknowledging things are expired or pretty close to it throughout the store. I’ve purchased a handful of expired items from here causing me to get into the habit of checking dates. Besides that the store is always stocked, neat and has friendly cashiers.

Very nice supermarket. Great selection of meats and cold cuts. And many other things. A real true hidden treasure here in Lower Bucks County Pennsylvania.

Good local Grocery Stote to shop at. Convenient when you are not feeling like driving to the bigger stores. Speedy checkout time thanks to the ladies at the registers.

GREAT meats! Great for specialty items like locatelli cheese or catered to all different nationalities Spanish Italian etc also good rolls and pastry selection but the prices are high and their hours are terrible

Its convenient being close to home but you definitely have to check the dates when buying food and another thing that they do at this store is when they have baked sweet goods it has the sticker for when it was packaged and the sell by date well what they do is put another sticker on top of that with a new packaged date and sell by date saying it was packed that day and its already a week old and the new sticker says another week so the baked goods are old trying to extend it and lying about the package date WOW what people will do to make money. You can find what Im talking about on the sale self near the small shopping carts inside the store and every single thing on the sale self is all outdated and some things are as old a couple months. Most places will donate slightly outdated items to food pantries lol not this place. I even took a picture of the 2 stickers on the baked goods that arent so good anymore.

Just moved to Bristol borough. Found this little gem of a super market. Its not very big but they have had everything Ive gone in there looking for. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely has that little local market feel. Ill probably become a loyal customer.

I enjoy the Selecto for the many products offered from a variety of cultures and its quaint atmosphere. It has a older store set up which reminds me of the days of yore, perhaps the early 80s, when I was a wee lad an my parents would send me to the market with $2 to get cigarettes and a candy bar. You can also check the cart return for the quarter deposit that people fail to retrieve quite often...

Perfect for my Cajun sauteed cabbage with beef sausage and shrimp 😋

Usually stop in for something when in Bristol. Theyve got great deals in their meat department.

I love this store. Theyve really done a lot of work over the years but I rather like the more old fashioned look. Prices are a little higher, but thats expected in a family owned, small town store. I mostly make up for it with the great sales they have. I always check dates because sometimes I dont think everything is rotated when stocking. All of the employees Ive encountered have all been very friendly & helpful. Keep up the great work Selecto!!

This store is kind of a dump...I only go there if absolutely necessary, which has been once in the last 10yrs..

I WORK NEAR HERE. I LOVE THIS MARKETCLEAN. EASY TO FIND ITEMS. HAPPY GOOD ENERGY STAFF. FOOD IS ALSO ALWAYS FRESH. NEVER OVER CROWDED AND I LOVE COMING IN FINDING THINGS EASY AND KNOWING MY FOOD IS SAFE AND CLEAN.

Decent local market, but know your prices and shop wisely. Prices on fresh meats are great, many grocery items are priced high and the sales bring them to whats regular prices at most big supermarkets. Produce prices and quality were very hit or miss. As can be expected, theres a great selection of Goya and other brands popular among the hispanic community that can be harder to find elsewhere.

It is within walking distance of where I live and they have good sales

People go here cause it’s the only “grocery” store in town. Everything is OVER priced.

Instead of going to Philly to get Spanish Stuff, I Go to Selecto Supermarket in Bristol, I Love it there..

Theyre very, very nice and so helpful here.. BUT theyre also very, very expensive as well.. some people that dont have transportation and that live in the Boro, shop here because its the closest market! The prices are the only negative.. so I only go occasionally.

Best selection of Puerto Rican foods,they got everything

I hadnt been to Selecto for about 2 years. Their prices were always good but items were often expired and the produce often moldy. I only would buy non-perishable items. What a welcome change I noticed when I went today! Everything looked fresh and the selection was much better! I knew they had restructured and I am impressed!

Handy Bristol market has upgraded refrigerated,frozen and produce sections. While they have also increased variety, due to their size, they cant offer the selection that bigger stores do. They make up for that in the great (sometimes unbelievable) weekly bargains they offer. You can really cut your grocery bill here while supporting our local market.

I only go in here when I’m pressed for time and need something quick. I needed something from the deli today. The young lady comes out from the back I said hi how are you and the response was less then stellar. She hands me my stuff and there wasn’t a thank you a have a nice day. I would think you would want people to come back to your place if business. I think there needs to be training course implemented on how to greet people. The lady at the register was very nice. Greeted customers with a smile and said hello and thank you and have a nice day.

A small grocery store that caters to the local community. Prices are not as good as the big retailers obviously. Ive found expired food on several occasions as well. The staff is very friendly and nice.

Should we call this place Select-O or Yuck-O? It is one of the dingiest supermarkets I have ever been in. Just moved to this town, and this place is below most people standards in 2017. I will have to find a supermarket on 13 that is more modern.. It looks like its stuck the past, but not in the good way. The owners should be totally embarrassed in my opinion.

I frequent Selectos often when i need something for my own shop not too far away. Always greeted well and everyone has been very courteous and helpful each time I stop in!

Was a wonderful experience, they had everything I need and wanted for Puerto Ricans it is fantastic, I recommend it for Hispanics So happy with this Store.

Convenient for simple things like milk etc. But watch expiring dates. I had a pack of cookies and they put a new tag on expired. Also produce. Stay away from sale pkg. Like tomatoes. Had to throw them away after it had black holes and growing mold under the tomato. Yuck!! No savings there.

Good place to shop but as the only grocery store in town, i think they know that, and raise their prices accordingly from time to time. Am hoping that somewhere in the Borough, a new Grocery Store opens up and gives Bristol Selecto a run for their money, someone big like Acme Markets or Giant, so that we can have a better selection of food at lower prices.

I would only go there when I need a few non-perishables. Have had bad meat from there twice, although the fresh chorizo was quite delicious. Has somewhat of a rank smell and not up-kept.

Went in recently to grab some dinner things & there were (what I thought) was 2 cashiers open so i put my stuff down at the one register. The worker looked at me, dramatically looked straight up at her register light that showed her light was off and she was, in fact, not open (though there were a good amount of people in line) & sighs really loudly to make it clear I inconvenienced her life terribly. I said sorry thought you were open. Got back into the other line. She said she would take me anyway. I ignored her, for being so rude. And then she told me 2 more times she would take me. So then what was all the fuss for? I get that its my fault, but theres a nice way to say sorry Im closed lol.

Selecto is a great local grocery store that has great sales and they carry ingredients used in traditional Spanish food that a regular grocery store may not carry. The only reason I dont give Selecto five out five stars is sometimes the prices are slightly higher than large chain stores. Big box stores are able to underprice smaller stores to put them out of business. Their meat selection is generally cheaper than Walmart. Their prices are way below convenience store and as I have said they have plenty of great sale prices. Their variety of products is greater than a convenience store also. Plus, it is always a bonus to shop local.
