Besides the smell-this place is a fairly decent supermarket. You can find many items cheaper than competitors and if not then they probably have a store brand version. Meat prices are decent. Produce is OK. pro-tip: buy your bananas elsewhere or eat them fast. They turn waaayyy too quickly.

I SUPPOSE THAT I WENT THERE TOO SOON AFTER THE CHANGE. I COULDNT GET A LOT OF THINGS ON MY LIST. I DONT KNOW HOW OFTEN I WILL BE GOING THERE. IM HOPING THAT THEY GET UP TO SPEED SOON. Now known as price rite. Not much has changed but the name. Probably still my least favorite grocery store. This store was better on the west side.

I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE SAVE A LOT FOR ALL MY MEATS BECAUSE ITS ALWAYS FRESHLY CUT, GREAT QUALITY FOR 1/2 AS MUCH AS STOP & SHOP & 3/4 LESS THAN SHAWS!! FACT!! They have a huge variety of foreign foods, not much in the way of veggies, but excellent Meat & theyll cut to order. If you want anything regarding their meat section, its just unbelievable!! For certain products, a go to store. Like orange juice. A real half gallon for $2.79 that tastes good or a gallon for $4.49.

Great prices on name brand products and even better prices on the store brand stuff. Definitely worth your time to check it out... wouldve been 5 stars if they had better cold cuts and more regular/common meats like steak tips and chicken breasts instead of poultry gizzards/beaks and animal organs in their meat department. I guess those ARE common amongst their Spanish and ethnic clientele, just not very common among their american customers. That factor aside, a great value

Got a love a store that you can go to and get most of the things you would get in a Shaws, etc. at prices that can’t be beat. Always go there to get sum of the things I could get in another store for better prices! You really save a lot! 👍🙌No joke Intended !!!😉

Would not buy meat here. But canned or box food is fine even milk but not cheese.

They should really change the refrigeration or the ventilation system. The minute you walk into the store, your nostrils are hit with a nasty smell of blood or not so fresh meat. Their veggies are not so good looking either. These observations are only for the Brockton location.

Produce might .20 cheaper but not worth the trip. We tried to pay with a debit card, but their connection was down so forced us to use their ATM to get cash. Later, we had to call bank because they had in fact charged our card. I feel bad for people that have to frequent this store.

Get a little more organized with the meats and frozen items price stickers.

Save a lot has changed over the years back in the day there was nothing that was name brand its a real good deal though as they still are everythings going up over the years to and prices but they have a lot of name-brand stuff like Pepsi Mountain Dew Snickers Reeses plenty of different things that is named brand new would highly recommend shop in there youll save quite a few dollars

Save a Lot is a low end grocery store selling product at very discounted prices. The first time I shopped there, I had very low expectations. However, I was surprised to find a great selection of produce at very low prices. Many ethnic food items that I would not purchase personally but the meat selection is fresh and I believe there is a butcher on site. Employees are all very friendly and helpful. I shop there regularly now!

Save a lot is known for its fresh vegetable and produce. It is cheaper than walmart and Price rite. It carries a wide variety of international food also. When you shop at Save a lot you get quality at affordable price.

Great prices, well stocked and clean store but at noon there were only 2 registers open..had to wait a while to pay for my stuff.Also it was disappointing that ther were no boxes or other bags or containers to put my groceries it. The only way was to pay for each bag..the extra money it cost for the bags made up for the lower prices..I might as well go to Market Basket or Walmart.

Save-A-Lot is a shopping store thats in a small Plaza and Family Dollar is in that Plaza as well and I believe CVS and Dunkin Donuts. Around the plaza theres a big gas station and then theres another Plaza across the street from the Save-A-Lot Plaza. Save-A-Lot is a grocery store that does not have a lot of brand name items but their prices are very low because the items are not brand name its a medium size grocery store and they even have other cultures Foods in the store as well

Yesterday i brought my service cat to save a lot and when i was checking out my groceries and one of your employees said is your cat a service animal and i told her yes and she said next time you come here you cannot bring your cat and i said my cat is a service animal and she said i dont care.
