Years ago, coming here was an incredible experience. It was like stepping back into the early 1900s. Now its just kind of sad, and very much a shadow of what it was. It is my wish that thousands of people new where this Jewel of a place was because the houses and the shops that now hide this place have created a whole where used to be. Its right off 71st Street to the north just east of Garnett. Look for the credit union and turn on the road heading north. This place can be great again. It just needs recognized.

I always enjoy persimmon Hollow Im happy that they have decided to open up more shops and have a lot of different things there. The only thing that I would suggest for this place is having a bigger sign a better location for it it was a little hard to find but its right behind the Salvation Army on that street next to it down a little ways. Reminds me a lot of Branson. Thats my new nickname for the place is the little Branson.

Persimmon Hollow just had its grand re-opening and it was great. Its under new management and they are working hard to bring it back to be a fantastic place to shop for all sorts of antiques, knickknacks, lotions, soaps, clothing, etc. The vendors are very friendly.

My family and I love to visit Persimmon Hollow. Its quite a unique shopping experience in an old west setting. Interesting adventure for the kids.
