American Home Shield had Boztechs plumbing division come to our house to check a drainage issue. The Boztech plumber seemed less than enthused to help us out, and after telling us wed need a camera to locate a flow valve, and then have an addition created. Called another plumbing company, who checked out the manhole cover in our backyard (which the Boztech plumber noticed, but didnt check), and found it to be a city sewer problem. The lack of helpfulness of the Boztech employee was the biggest reason we wont use them again.
American Home Shield placed us with this company in order to solve a blockage problem. The plumber came out and messed with the indoor plumbing and then went outside to the cleanouts and fiddled with them while coughing and gagging the entire time. He informed us that we had a collapsed pipe but he would have to come back out with a camera and charge us an additional $300 plus for to see where the collapse was. They stated that the home warranty wouldnt cover this because it was outside of the homes foundation and that it could cost as much as $6000 to fix. We called another plumber who came out today and they brought their camera with them and ran a snake all the way to the cities line and cleared out our blockage (which would have been covered by AHS had they bothered to even try) AND they also ran a camera down to prove to us that there was no breaks or anything in the lines. The total cost? $135.
