I bought one of their big packages of meat and it was basically all fat. It was not worth the money and Im very disappointed in the quality.

I just arrived home from Harvard meats, I do not shop there because I can not stand the smell of the store. The reason I was there is because my husband had fallen on the walk in front of the store, no one had offered any help, as I pulled up they were looking at him from inside the store, his lip was bleeding and he had an obvious knot above his eye. Yes I saw you!!! I am 5’2” he is 6’2” and I had to get him up alone. This is what kind of people run Harvard meats!

I do really like the meat I get from here but I have gone so many times during business hours and they are closed. It really gets annoying.. They are supposed to close at 6 and tonight I rushed to get there after work and made it at 5:40 and they were closed!

I bought a 1.5 thick 2.23 pound Porterhous for my birthday on Monday. Well to be honest I couldnt wait, soooo I grilled that monster and I must tell you, in my 71 years Ive eaten a few steaks, but this one was out of this world great, yea $44 bucks was a lot, but worth every penny, and I saved some for tomorrow, Monday, my real birthday,.....what and incredible steak.......

I always preorder our Thanksgiving turkey! They start taking orders for November turkeys in October. Preordering is the best way to go. They are fresh birds and I can order the weight I want to cook! No more going to the grocery store searching for a fresh, not frozen, bird and hunting for the size we want. And I tell them what day I will pick turkey up! Everyone there is super friendly.

I feed a lot of my dogs raw food. Ive been getting my meat and femur bones here for several years now. Its a family run business so dont expect the corperate branded welcome. These are good people who speak through their products not their fake small talk and tacky scripts. Their quality is unsurpassed and the one time I had an issue with a phone order they promptly fixed it. Theyre quick and always have what I need in stock. If you want good quality local goods this is the place to go. They source what they can from OK and dont get meats from Canada and Mexico like most mom and pop shops. I support this business because of their quality products, flexible staff, and excellent customer service. Theyve always been hardworking and honest with me. I look forward to the improvements in the future and wider menu selection. Shop local.

Went in to get a couple Del Monico steaks. The butcher supposedly came out from the back and tried to tell me that a Del Monico was a thin cheap cut of steak. She also tried to tell me she had worked at several 4 star steakhouses. She barely looked 22. Still had babyfat. If youre looking for a couple pounds of ground beef or turkey you can go here, but theyre not a butcher shop and cant even hire honest employees. Dont waste your time.

Best Hamburger in Tulsa OK I usually buy meat at Harvard meats. The other day I bought 3 racks of ribs at Harvard meats then later that day I was at Cox Super Saver shopping and noticed they had ribs on sale. So I bought an extra rack of ribs. Smoked them all the same at same time for a 4th of July get together. We would NOT put the ribs from the super market on the table!! They were THAT BAD. The difference in quality of meat at Harvard Meats versus the super market is day and night. There is no comparison. I mentioned this to the owner of Harvard meats who said Good meat is NOT cheap and cheap meat does not taste good

I was at harvard meats today in Ba first time there.. and we got 100 dollars in meat.. they even offered us samples of cooked ribeye. When we went to pay for our stuff it rang up to 32 dollars. There was a gentleman in there that left before we paid for our stuff.. and i told her no this isnt right its more then 32 dollars.. she said you see that guy that just left.. he paid for over half your order hes good friends with the owner.. i was shocked. I couldnt even decline the offer. Great business Ill continue to shop at the lady that worked there was also very polite. Just want to tell him thank you very much.

There is a complete difference between the meat here and the meat at a supermarket! Thank you for maintaining an old fashioned meat market with fresh meat the way it used to be. I stopped in to buy some country style ribs and they did not have any so the guy who works there went and cut them up for me. I highly recommend them.

They always have a great selection of meats and the prices are not bad. The service I receive has always been exceptional. Love that they have a selection of veggies to choose from. Can get all my shopping done at one place when needing something quick to make for dinner.

Very nice staff. Nice meats and prices. My boyfriend loves the selection of game meats(pricey but understandable). Kinda smells bad in there but not a huge problem. A good selection and good prices, definitely a place I will be visiting more.

They didnt fill my order like I asked them to do. Plus they were snippy and acting like i didnt know what I wanted and acted like I was bothering them with my business Meat wasnt what it use to be like. I have been in Tulsa for awhile and have always got my meat there. However this time a week or so ago was the worst experience I have ever had. Definitely taking my business to a place that will appreciate my business and fill my order like I requested it to be filled.

Harvard Meats is the best. The cuts of meat are amazing. I remember the first time I went I wasnt sure how it worked. The staff took the time to explain it all to me and were so kind. Anytime I go in they are always so pleasant and friendly. I dont worry about getting the best meat when I go there.

This place is superb. I was searching for grass fed meats, no antibiotics, from pastured animals and was excited to find Harvard Meats. They have a great VIP program and a very large selection of high quality meats. Their beef jerky is the best around here, made in house with grass fed beef. I wont buy any other jerky now.

As usual, quality and terrific service. When Pettys closed I mused over where I would find my Christmas prime rib. Happily it didnt take me long to find you...and Im glad I did.

Harvard meats and their staff are amazing. They stock cuts I can’t get anywhere else, like the hanger steak and ox tail. Additionally, they went well beyond my expectations to right an order that was filled with some meat that was off. Even though it is a bit out of the way to get your meat from them rather than the grocery store, it is well worth it for my family to have better quality food.

The quality of their meat is awesome but their customer service skills are lacking immensely.

Great tasting meats at a fair price. I ordered pork porterhouses for the family. All I did was lightly salt and pepper and fry them in a skillet. They came out juicy and full of flavor. I highly recommend Harvard Meats for awesome quality and great value.

By far one of the best places to buy meat in Broken Arrow. Great service. And cut the meat the way I wanted it. After cooking we could cut the steaks with a fork. They was delicious. I will recommend them to everyone I know !!!

I went in to get some steaks for my husband, Harvard Meats has good pieces. This woman picked her crusted scab on her lip it was bleading. she grabbed the meat, with NO gloves, did not even wash her hands. I will never go back. Use gloves!!!!! I am totally freaked out.

Weve been making beef Wellington every year at christmas for around 6 years now. The one year we tried a different butcher for our tenderloin, it was noticeably lower quality and flavor. We vowed to never again use ANYONE but Harvard Meats - and were never disappointed! Thank you guys so much for always being the best!

I waited in the empty store too long. I looked around and saw a gentleman in the back on a tablet. He finally came upfront and handed me the baby back ribs I requested. I noticed the Sell by Date was left blank on the package, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I got home and opened the package the ribs smelled like fish and sulfur. I washed them thoroughly but they still smelled fishy. I cooked them and they tasted like fish even after dry rubbed and sauced. Ill never buy from there again.

I have recently moved to broken arrow and was so happy to see Harvard meats out this way. I have loved this store for 5 years now. My children and I have severe food allergies and have gotten sick on meat that had claims to be organic and all- natural that really wasnt what it was cracked up to be. We have never been sick from Harvard meats. I love the taste so much that I really cant stand meat from many other places. Thank you Harvard meats for being a place with integrity!

My mom and I put on a big steak dinner for my in-laws visiting from Germany a couple months ago and the batch we received had a fair amount of grizzle throughout the sirloin. Since the order was placed under my mothers name, she received the email requesting feedback on our recent purchase. She relayed this information to the owners who, graciously, went over and beyond to make things right. He emphasized that this batch we had originally picked up didnt meet their quality standards and that he no longer would be buying from that vendor. The second batch we picked up were probably THE best steaks Ive had in my entire life - in restaurants and at home. The marbling was perfect and absolutely no grizzle. Its apparent that their quality standards are top notch. Well be buying all our steaks from here in the future as its totally worth the extra money compared to local grocery store steaks on sale.

I absolutely love this place! The ground beef is amazing, as well as the bacon. My only 2 complaints is that how the chicken is packed in 3. It sucks because my small family only use 2 chicken breasts, and my other complaint is we got a look of ribs that was just mainly fat. But other than that they definitely have my business for ground beef and bacon! YUM!

Ok place to buy meats. Not really a butcher shop. I asked the kids working behind the counter if they could cut my full rack of spare ribs St Louis style and they said they didn’t do that there. Also very pricey

The girls here were so sweet. It was the first time I had ever been in there and didnt really know what I was doing. I knew I was looking to buy some meat but didnt really know how everything worked. They did not make me feel like an inconvience or stupid. I really appreciated the customer service and genuine care.

I had hoped the other 1 star reviews were wrong, but I visited today and sadly they were right. I did not stay for more than 3 minutes - and that was because I wanted to find something to like about it. I could smell the amount of old, spoiled, and or freezer-burnt items that were there. The staff did greet me and offered to assist me, which was nice, but I dont recall seeing one person smiling. The cheese and milk options were nearly non-existent, the freezer had an open box of bone and meats still in the blue plastic bag it came in - I could see the ice crystals forming on them. Lastely were the veggie options - the bell peppers were so old they were wrinkling and shriveled, and one of the potatoes was so old it had a green ting to its skin from the mold growing - I was so shocked I cannot even remember what the rest of them looked like. I took a very brief look at the meat counter as I was turning around to leave and saw a large amount of ground beef packed into the display case, so much so that that the spot that was pressed against the glass had turned brown. I really hope this store is restored, it has great potential with all the exotics it offers, but it seems maybe the passion has died down.

It was your classic small business experience. Harvard Meats is staffed by knowledgable people, service is A priority and it just had a small town feel when shopping. Its a 180 degree difference from shopping at a Corporate grocery store. Look forward to returning.

Ive never written a bad review for any company, but I am unbelievably disappointed with my experience here. They charged my card for $70 when it was suppose to be $40 for two ribeyes, each just under one pound. When I tried to ask for a refund of the extra $30 they charged me, the manager, Katrina, was terribly, terribly rude. Ive never felt so dismissed in my life. She refused to refund me because I dont have my receipt, and wouldnt even entertain the idea of looking up my purchase which was made on 12/23 at 2:00pm. If you buy from here, watch your account balance closely and save your receipt because they will completely screw you over and wont help at all.

They claim to have military discount, but only tax exempt! I bought a bundle for $69.99 ended up over $75. it was extremely small. The lady claimed it was thick cut! It was all thin. It was horrible I was waiting for about 5 minutes rang the bell twice. No one came out. I would of thought they had a bigger variety of Boars Head deli meat. Sad to say when I went there there wasnt alot to choose from. So disappointed since I had to travel about an hour to finally purchase Boars Deli.

I called my order in an hour ahead drove from muskogee to pick it up where I had to wait over 2 hours longer to return to pick it up ...IT STILL WASNT DONE AND THEY LEFT MY BACON OUT!!

I drove an hour to come to the store on Harvard street but they didnt have enough meat in stock at the time (bad prep on my part for not calling it in). So I tried 15th street and got all the meat I wanted! Yay! Never been to 15 street before but was a regular to Harvard street last year when I lived in Tulsa and loved their quality. Have sampled all cuts I purchased from 15th street now and they were as delicious as Harvard street! Loved the store, a lot bigger than the other and had more display. Great prices, great quality, friendly staff and nicely sized (and maintained) parking lot. Great job. Only thing I didnt love was while I waiting I checked out the fridges with produce and they were going bad/were bad. I only come for the meat but I was just thinking if the store doesnt sell produce quickly enough it might be a good idea to just stick to meat and preserved goodies.

Last visit was disappointing and may be the last time my family will ever go there. We have been buying meat and bones from there for years, and cutting bones had been free. Though the price of bones has increased $1/lb in the last two years, we still go there to support local business. Last time after the bones were cut, they charged extra $2/lb for the labor without telling in advance. I would not buy bones which are much more expensive than meat. I called the manager the next day, he was kind of rude and apparently they donot care whether you will buy there or not. Since the meat there is not better and cheaper than the big-chain stores and people are not nice, why not go to sprouts, Whole Foods, or reseasor?

Wow...this place is awesome!!! They have bundles, but the best deal on the bundles is to select the custom build order..thats what I did, I just picked out the meats I wanted from the fresh meat case and they wrapped it just how I wanted. They make their own butter and Beef Jerky and I also got some local farmed eggs and local grown veggies. I WILL NEVER SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE. The owners are ON SITE at both locations she told me. So if there was a problem you get the owner face to face. Everyone was super friendly and ready to help. Im not one to write a review but after I ate the pork chops tonight my whole family was stoked..we LITTERALLY cut the pork chops with our forks and they were over 1 inch thick.Eating the rib eye steaks tomorrow.

They were completely out of chicken breast which is one of the main reasons I went. I plan to go back to get more meat another time so I will update my rating accordingly.

Are you kidding me! I will never step foot in that place again. I spent $170 and when I got home and started putting it in the freezer I couldnt believe how small the cuts of meat were, snack size at best. I would be embarrassed if I sold that to someone and actually called it a roast or steak.What I ended up with, as far as I can tell, is 10 pounds of chicken leg quarters, a package of hotlinks (5) and some beef scraps that I will probably just slice up and make fajitas to get rid of it so Im not pissed off every time I open the freezer door.From now on I will just wait for Jeff to have his primal meat sale.What a joke, Harvard Cheats.

Read the reviews. Best beef jerkey around. Well....not at 15th and Harvard. Only the BA location. Very, very little selection at this location. Purchased a lb of bacon for 6.99. NO flavor at all and shrunk up paper thin after cooking. Ill keep getting the thick sliced at Reasors. I was not impressed. Went to BA today. They didnt have the beef jerkey either. I asked the guy if I had to order it. And he said, no, were out of spices right now. Ill keep ordering from Ullrich Meats in Pella, Iowa. I dont mind the shipping fee. Theirs is the best nationwide. I wont go back to Harvard Meats....Ive seen the commercials and thought Id check it out though. I went to BA location. 1 lb lean hamburger. Its freezer burnt. It did look fresh and red when I purchased it. Like the bacon I purchased few wks back. It is old meat. It smells old when you cook it. Im not going back.

Iv been calling them for over an hour, answering machine says theyre with customers. so I drove to there, pulled in and the place is dead called the store 4 more times from my truck and no one picks up.
