Service took about 45 mins. Work was as promised. Oil change, tire rotation, fluids topped off. Could use a car wash. Otherwise great.

I own an 04 Armada w/155k miles & still runs great. My AC went out about 2months ago & my normal mechanic couldnt get me in for repairs until late August or middle of September. I called these folks by random chance on a Saturday spoke w/Karen (delightful lady). She said they had an opening at 11:30a if I could get there. I live in Milwaukee near Timmerman Airport, so I rushed over.They were able to get me in, inspect my AC system and determine there was a significant leak in my rear system. They then provided me with all repair options and offered a quicker repair schedule than my regular shop. I took the truck back the following Wednesday, they had me in and out within 2hrs. I went with the cheapest repair but given the choices it wasnt the most expensive but was fair. Im completely satisfied with the work and will be return here in the future.

I am sickened by my experience at this shop. And I urge anybody to avoid this shop. I was completely taken advantage of by the owner Bob. I brought my car in to him for a muffler to be replaced, and he returned the car with a big gash/rip in my back bumper right where the new muffler was put in. I had two witnesses with me that saw my car was delivered to his shop with no issues with the bumper, and he returned it to me broken. He likes to make big promises to you like Ill cut you a deal or I wont charge you for the labor! but I wouldnt trust a word this man says. I will now be paying over $1000 for a new bumper. He likes to say he is a family guy and puts on a big act, but I would watch out and beware of Bob and this shop.My family will NEVER bring our vehicles to this shop again. Bob has now lost out on tons of business as my family and friends will never return here.I am currently filing a small claims action against Bob at this location due to my experience.

Good work and all however when calling to make an appointment they treated my mom as if she didnt know what was wrong with her own vehicle making her feel as though she was dumb. We much rather have gone to Midas in Glendale but it was sadly too far for this emergency.

My 22 year old Subaru Impreza had an exhaust issue. I was quoted an entire exhaust system for almost $2,000 by the Subaru Dealer. I brought it in to Bob and he carefully examined it and quoted a couple of options. Ultimately he repaired it with all that was needed, which was replacing a short piece of pipe for just over $200.00 - 1/10th of the cost! I took it to its Emission Test 2 months later and it Passed! I was so happy and blessed to find a professional, honest, and fair priced Service!! Bob is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience, so he was able to handle my situation with ease!! Went in on my lunch break for an oil change due to a coupon found online. Let them know when I called in that I had the coupon. When I went in, was told that sorry, we arent going to accept that and heres the full price. I already made the appointment and had left work for it, and to be told that once getting my car in was unprofessional and should have been made well known from the start. Will never use again.**Update to your response: That is 100% false. The 2013 Hyundai Elantra motor oil capacity is 4.23 us quarts (4.0 liters). The sae 5w-20 or 5w-30 engine oil is recommended for all operating temperatures for the 2013 hyundai elantra As you can see on the coupon, it shows 5w30 is accepted along with your location. Your reason of my car needing special oil is not only inaccurate but it was also not brought up to me on the phone or in person....The reasoning you gave me was Thats too cheap. I cant do it for that price because I cant pay my guys that way.

Rob is amazing. He has done work on both my cars. He fixed my muffler for free. He told me I didnt need new brakes, but I insisted because I could tell they werent 100%. He is just an honest guy.

I don’t know what guy below is talking about. I don’t think he has ever been to that shop. Being a women I would only take my car there. They are the only honest place I’ve been to. They don’t push parts that are not needed. Nor do they can push a female into something assuming they don’t know what’s going on. The owner and his wife are so kind. I had my two children in there going bonkers and they were extremely polite and easy going. There price point is extremely on point. Thank you for your services we will be back soon!

Ive been taking my car here for almost 20 years and have always been happy with the service, felt the value was excellent, and have gotten lots of great advice on things I can do on my own. I have lived in Oconomowoc and downtown Milwaukee and still make the drive, totally worth it.

If I could give more stars I would. These people are first class, family oriented, all around good people. If youre looking for a shop you can trust (which lets be honest, we all are) look no further!

They are nice and fairly honest. Decent place for an oil change in the area. No one is ever at the front desk. Both times I’ve been here, even with an appointment, I sat at the counter for 10+ minutes without seeing a single person. It drives me nuts. I only go here now because my office is right up the road.

We have had oil changes, brakes, tires and other car repairs done here and they are honest, fair and do a good job.

They overcharged me today for brake replacement. I was told on the phone rear brakes was $350. Also Austin (the sales guy) told someone in front of me it was $350 for rear brakes. But he jacked up the price on my quote and was charged $405.They replaced 2 rear brake rotors and 1 rear brake pad on my 2011 CRV.I should have just left with my car and taken it to another mechanic (i already had a quote of $350 from another mechanic).I will NOT recommend this mechanic to anyone.

I’ve been coming to Bob since I’ve owned a car. This place is worth the longer drive for me- I live closer to many other shops. The shorter drive isn’t worth it for the amount of money that Bob has saved me. From exhaust problems to suspension, this place is the best and completely honest.

I drove in from Minneapolis and my brakes started to feel odd. Stopped at Advanced auto, who recommended I go next door to Meineke. I was nervous, Im female, from out of town...theyre going to try to sell me services I dont need. Not the case AT ALL.The owner Robert was able to check my car out right away. Within 30 mins, he said my brakes look good. Though, he would test drive to make sure it wasnt anything else. He did just that. Gave me suggestions on what he thought it was. Told me Id be fine to drive back to Mpls, but if still acting up and not the snow/damp brakes, to take it in to a shop. He gave me a general $ amount Id prob be charged and part info.Im so happy with this shop. They were honest, fast and shop was clean. Whenever Im in the area, Ill always come back for my car needs.

The people that run this place are honest and fair. I have taken my car here as well as my sons several times and the service is always quick, competent and professional. I have a foreign car, and I will take it here in a second before dealing with the price gougers at the dealership.

I have taken my car here for years. They always do everything they can to fix it and charge reasonable rates. They have done the best they can to discount things and give me deals, especially when it is a big job. They have always been forthright and are willing to show you exactly what is wrong with the car and explain what needs to be fixed.I would recommend this place to anyone!

Honest and Good Mechanics. I could write several stories about how Bob and his crew have saved myself and my extended family money. The short of it is that these guys are fair and honest. If it doesnt need to be done, they dont push for you to do and usually try to find the most cost effective way to perform the repair. When the dealership tries to talk you into several hundreds of dollars of repairs, call these guys and they can tell you what is necessary and what isnt. These guys have earned my trust and business for as long as they run the place.

It was Veterans Day. I went out to my car to go to work and my car was dead. My husband gave my battery a jump and I made it to work. On Veterans Day, everything is closed. Co-workers told me Go to Batteries Plus, they will put a new battery in for you. I went to Batteries Plus after work and they refused to put a new battery in my car because they didnt want to break the plastic cover over it. The guy there told me to go to Meineke up the road.I go to Meineke, who happens to be the only one in the state (?) open on Veterans Day. They have a huge spread of food out for Veterans. They also had a barrel for Toy for Tots in their lobby and support local police and fire departments.They were super busy but when I told them my predicament, took care of me immediately. I cannot say enough about the service I received here. I also overheard their business dealings with other customers and was super impressed by their professional attitude and dignified service they gave to people who werent sure about this or that.They got me on my way ASAP, which allowed me a way to get to work and home safely in this cold weather, and they also are involved in their community in many ways. How many businesses do that now a days?SUPERIOR customer service, top notch, knowledgeable employees, and competitive prices with places like Batteries Plus. Just awesome people overall. I will give them my service in the future and encourage others too as well. You will not be disappointed.EDIT: Took my car in today for an oil change and to get my rear brakes and rotors replaced (because the Nissan dealership told me that would be needed before my next oil change.) The techs at Meineke told me that my rear brakes and rotors would be fine for at least another 5k miles and that they didnt need to be replaced. THEY COULD HAVE CHARGED ME FOR ADDITIONAL WORK THAT DIDNT NEED TO BE DONE AND THEY DIDNT.Just so impressed with this company and the people here. They do a great job and they dont try to take advantage of you. They have my future business for sure! Thank you!!!!

A dealership had me convinced that I needed $800+ worth of brake work. I turned to Meineke for a look at the car. Bob and his crew could have easily told me that I needed such major work. However, Bob indicated that no such work was needed, just some simple cleaning up of the calipers. Price tag under $30! Honesty is a rare commodity in the car service world and Bob has it. He has earned my business moving forward. Take your business to Bob and his shop, you will not regret it.

I have brought 2 different cars here and both times have had fantastic experiences. The first car needed an expensive part ordered, when the part came in and they started working on it, they found out they could repair the car without the new part and only charged me for the 2 hours of labor! The second car needed a break job and an oil change. They ended up doing the breaks and oil change at a very reasonable price, and even found a nail in one of the tires and plugged it for free. Very trustworthy mechanic and I will be bringing all my cars here in the future.

Hi everyone!I’m so pleased with this Meineke! I’m a single female and routinely had to fight through pink tax and mansplaining at other establishments. Then I found This Meineke (and Bob🤗) and I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR ELSEWHERE. He is fair, efficient, and kind- while finding effective solutions to a problem.The waiting room is clean and comfortable- but it’s never long before Bob calls me over to my car and shows me what’s going on- then gives me the options for fixing it. If the wait time is longer- There’s a nice Starbucks with a patio within walking distance going east on Bluemound.I will usually call ahead for an appointment- And have routinely been accommodated day of.Cheers!

Went to get my oil changed at another business and was told that I needed new break pads and rotors. This was really frustrating because they had done the same thing to my husband. We both brought our cars to meineke and were told that we didn’t need to have everything replaced. They took me back into the garage and showed me exactly what they were seeing. Meineke is honest and does not try to tell you that things are broken when they are not. It is hard to find places that are honest. I drove 45 minutes to bring my car here and would do it again. I was referred to Meineke Brookfield from a body shop...said they were good honest people. I found that to be true when my son, just ready to head back to college, found oil under his car. Bobs wife told me to come in right away, Bob inspected immediately (even though I could see they had a lot of other things going on this Saturday morning). Came back and told me that the leaking was coming from an oil change that wasnt quite cleaned up properly. Wouldnt take any money for looking at the car. I will be going back to this place for all of my future repairs, unfortunately this kind of honest is hard to find in the car business. Impressive.

Be aware of hidden costs, my $69.95 oil change turned into $130! I saw another customer get a $19.95 oil change for over $30. They charge for everything, including labor! Not the same as Meinecke in Milwaukee, greedy.

Corey, thank you for your review. We do not charge labor on any oil change. We do charge for extra oil, special filters that are required to complete the correct service on your vehicle. Every synth oil change also includes tire rotation fluid top off .

My wife brought our Town and Country in for brake work a few months ago and they were very fair, the turn around was quick and my wife mentioned that they were very polite. Today on the way to work I hit a huge pot hole and started hearing a loud grinding noise coming from the rear. I dropped off the car and found out a few hours later that two techs drove it AND took the wheel off and looked at the suspension and could not find any problems. I picked up the car and was suprised to hear that there was no charge for the diagnosis. I would have happily paid a diagnostic charge. The people at Meineke Brookfield have earned my respect!

Meineke replaced the exhaust system from the catalytic converter back in my Sentra. It was expensive. I drove away, only to hear a rattle. They had loosen s shield and swung it out of the way, and had not reinstalled it. I was not impressed.

I was told that they dont take my Meineke credit card. Wish I had known. Very inconvenient!!

Very poor experience. This meineke is attached to an Advance auto parts, so the assumption is that you can buy parts and they install them. I went in with headlights that I had bought and they refused to install them. They had over an hour left in their day and they continued to sit at a wooden table and do nothing, citing that it would take too long and was too difficult. I would have tipped them handsomely as well as they werent making much by doing it. I had to drive home with no headlights in the dark and install them myself, which took all of ten minutes. I had never even done it before. Dont bother with this store. Many better in brookfield.

I almost never leave reviews unless I want to complain but Ive had such great experiences with this Meineke that I felt compelled to leave a five star review. I used to take my Chevy Cavalier to this Meineke a few years ago and always had a good experience but moved to Shorewood. I recently moved back to the Waukesha/Brookfield area from Milwaukee and had taken my Acura TSX over by both tires plus and Valvoline near Moreland Blvd. They both wanted to charge me twice as much as Meineke for the same oil change and less additional services. The owner and employees of this Meineke have always been amazing and still have given the same great experience as I remembered it. As long as I live/stay in this area, this Meineke has earned my business. I will most certainly bring my car back here every time for an oil change now.

DO NOT visit here for repairs, or you will regret it. My lovely sister, who suffers from an intellectual disability just recently, came here to get her car repaired and has been taken advantage of. To be completely honest, her car is a total rust pile and a piece of junk that needs to be scrapped due to the wonderful Wisconsin snow and Salar de Uyuni valley of salt that has completely destroyed her car. The husband and wife who run this Meineke franchise looked at my sisters car and said it would cost $2,000+ to get it repaired. So my sister paid the money after draining her entire 401k retirement (seriously, she didnt have much) and had it repaired, weeks later, she had more issues, and was told it would cost another $400 to get it repaired, now, after all this money has been wasted on her car and still more issues she was told that she should no longer fix the car, because it just is not worth it, because the car is a rust bucket and that it is dangerous to drive, and could fall apart at any time, yes, that might be correct, but of COURSE, she is told this AFTER the fact that all these repairs have been completed. It is obvious that these people have no morals, empathy, or ethics whatsoever seeing they knew this car had major issues and still went ahead and repaired them, knowing darn well this car was junk and should have never been repaired in the first place, due to the low value of the vehicle and its terrible undercarriage and condition.How can you take someones money and later tell them that their car has the worst case of rust you have ever seen? And is not worth fixing? These people will take all your money, and then tell you the truth after the fact.Stay away from this place, and no matter where you go, always get a few estimates before getting major repairs done.
