I bought a ruger 5.7 from these people and it shot twice and didn’t work after and then I talked to the store and they didn’t want to help me. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on the range portion and had no problem with them but they sell bad guns and I highly recommend not to purchase any firearms from this place.

I enjoy coming to this range, because the people were very nice and friendly. The range is clean and the range officer made sure the brass is cleaned up. Very helpful when you ask for help too.

Worst place to ever pick to have your firearms delivered at a FFL location. I received an email from UPS stating that my items were delivered. I want to pick up my items as soon as possible. Therefore, I called and asked to speak to Scott who was shown to have accepted my guns. The guy I spoke to name was Shawn, whom stated that he was the supervisor when asked, was talking loud and rude to me on the phone. Then I told him that he did not have to loud talk me and he stated I was talking too low. Well shouldnt a customer talk in an even tone versus yelling at the representative that answers the phone. I should not be talk to in a rude manner on the phone regardless if you are having a bad day at work. Then I was told that if I did not listen that he would hang up the phone.Now I was told that it could take anywhere from 24 hours to check the merchandise in. I can bet that this young man may take longer because you can tell that he has a bad chip on his shoulder. Very unprofessional. Its disheartening that this facility would want someone like him representing your image and mission statement.

Well kept range with quality panel control. A fine rental selection. Helpful staff. The proper etiquette of a firearm facility.

Denise and Nick were a delight. Helpful staff and very friendly. Everyone on the staff greeted me with warm sincerity and assisted so much at the range and gun selection.

Have had 2 great experiences here. Its always very busy but theres nothing they can do about that. Several friendly staff have helped me purchase and also use the range. Nice place and Ill use it again.

Saturday’s they close at 430 not 5 arrived at 402 was disappointed had a out of town guests was told to come back Sunday they close at 3 really…… 😂

A well rounded team of experts. Greeted from the start after entering. Kyle was very helpful and gave me a good run down on what to expect in the range. Paul was respectful and helpful when I was having some trouble with the rented gun I chose to fire, after some issues Ted came over to help after Paul and told me it was better to switch out for a different rifle so they could clean the other one. Overall if you hold your self to a standard and are honest and accountable you will receive the same respect you give and even have some great conversations with the guys.

Great group of people. Staff is freindly, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Range is clean and modern.

Never had a problem, other ranges in the area with no safety officer have felt very unsafe. They have helped several times with a variety of gun issues.. everyone is very helpful here but a special shout-out to Greg. ..safety officer that day and noticed I had my thumb behind the slide. Saved a potential injury.

These guys are awesome! I usually would not choose to go to an indoor range given the choice, but I would go back here in a heartbeat. The staff is extremely nice, helpful, and personable. Some indoor ranges feel over the top serious and have range officers that breathe down your neck for no reason, but that is not true here. I wish I could give six stars but I seem to only have the option for five! Mustached range officer is top notch 👌

Horrible place to go if you expect any customer service. For example, I bought a $66 group for two people to shoot at they’re range. When I showed up and asked to make a range time. The employee was nothing but rude and walked away from us like we were a waste of time. I’d recommend any other range in Waukesha County over this place (Fletchers, McMiller’s). Not only for customer service but also price and variety.

The Cleanest, nicest range Ive ever been to. Fancier than some in Las Vegas that Ive been to. I also look forward to taking classes in their large classroom and then heading right out to the range. This is a very nice range.

First time writing a review, but sadly this was just an awful experience. This was my 2nd time coming here (first time went well). First time renting out pistols at a range, so I wasnt quite sure what the process was like. The employee was very rude and not helpful at all. I wanted to learn more about the rental process, but he showed zero interest in wanting to inform and began talking to me like I was the problem. I ended up cancelling my rental because of the hostility. He was also not very friendly to his associates. Its unfortunate that I had a bad experience here. I will not be back to this establishment and will not recommend this place to anyone I know. Firearms are a continuous learning curve for everyone involved and should be a welcoming environment to those wanting to learn more.

I had never purchased a Firearm from this shop before, but certainly will again. The entire process was quite easy, the Order was processed, and delivered quickly, and was perfect in all respects. The Staff was knowledgeable, and quick to assist with any question. Very competent, and genuinely interested in making sure I was at ease, and familiar with every part of the transaction. (And they arent afraid to have a sense of Humor, a big plus to me.) Everything just as it should be. Im very impressed, and will continue to give them my Custom.

Stopped in today to pick up an online order. Was greeted when I walked in the door. This was my first time purchasing a firearm online, but Mark walked me through everything, and made me feel at ease. I appreciate their professionalism, and look forward to doing more business with them in the future.

I could not be more impressed with a Business. They were no customers, so they decided to close up shop approximately an hour early. I only found out that they closed early as I arrived. I called and an employee or manager answered immediately and I explained that I drove a half hour to purchase an expensive knife that I was excited about. He actually opens both sets of locked doors and lets me in after they have already closed up. I proceed to purchase the knife I wanted and walked out with a smile. I believe the manager or employee was named Mark, so thanks alot for being so understanding I couldnt be happier with this establishment.

I’m have about 20 friends coming in from North & South Carolina (1st Week of Nov) different races, all current & former Marines & Alpha Males. Before I commit to book I’m seeing several posts about lack of customer service and behavior issues with staff with no explanation. Knowing we are all professionals they will review all the negatives as I have. How have these issues been corrected?

Was misdirected to the wrong set of lanes, upon trying to rectify the situation, I was approached by a range officer. Not hearing what he was saying with having had on my hearing protection. I proceeded to show him my firearm was cleared and not loaded. He proceeded to snatch it out of my hand and and move into some kind of tactical stance. Policies of their requirements need to be explained before heading into the lanes. I wish I would have gotten this individuals name, but was trying to evaluate the situation he was about to create. I will never return.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ive seen people from all walks of life there and everyone seems to get the same great service. Very clean facility. Considering everyone is armed, I feel safe there. I love the fact that it doesnt feel like a dungeon like a certain range I went too. I recommend them to everyone I hear talking about going to a range. My only thing is that you arent allowed to record. My fiance and I like to go over how we did and what we need to do to improve, but that isnt big enough to lower my rating for them.

Great range. Staff was excellent, very professional. honestly cant say enough good things. I shoot a lot and this is the best in door range around the Milwaukee area. Ive been to them all............ That said my wife also was impressed. She was comfortable shooting their. After reading some others reviews, I disagree that you need muffs to shoot . How you put in ear plugs matters. My wife used plugs and said it was the quietest in door range she has been to. Thanks again to staff. When we go to anin door range thats were will be.

One of the coolest things about this place is the staff was very diverse which I NEVER see at gun places In Wisconsin. They were all knowledgeable, nice, and down to earth,where as most other places have staff members who come off as kind of cold (just my opinion). The open layout of the place is very customer friendly as well. All the firearms are on the wall for customers to check out and handle instead of having to ask to see every weapon. My experience here was extremely pleasant and I would most definitely recommend it to my friends.

Ive been to alot of indoor ranges, first time to this one tonight. I was greeted by a friendly staff. The main entry and store was clean. The range was great! I understand that ranges utmost concern is safety - as it should be - but some ranges go overboard in treating everyone like a moron. Not Wisc Firearm Trng Center! I followed procedure, they treated me with respect, and I had a great time shooting! Ill definitely be back! Thanks guys!

Great range and staff! Helped look over a new firearm I purchased and gave pointers on care and maintenance. The rifle range is clean and easy to use, with automated targets that can be put out at various distances up to 75 ft. They also offer rentals on a variety of rifles, pistols, silencers, etc. in case you want to try anything out. Parking is great and the building is beautiful. Ill definitely be coming back!

Went for my birthday today it was a great experience. Stephen was a good trainer, prices not bad I will be returning soon for more practice.

Clean facility, great layout, decent selection of rentals as well.But they don’t reserve your spot on the range. If you call ahead and reserve a spot they end up giving it away and forcing you to wait for another spot to open or you end up having to leave if you don’t have time to wait.Also don’t bring your own suppressor. They will let you rent their firearms with a suppressor which is really great. But they will force you to take your suppressor off or have you leave if you want to use your own.

WOW. First time visiting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even the other customers were great. Excellent facilities and very clean. Saw a few families there shooting together. Very family friendly. Will take my kids soon. Thanks for everything and look forward to spending a lot of time here.

As a female who has never shot a gun in my life, I have been here twice with my husband and once by myself to get him a giftcard and feel very welcomed and the staff is very helpful. The facility is very clean and well taken care of and safety is key! I have only been to one other shooting range once and it was filthy and there were gun shells everywhere...I almost tripped! This place has someone down there sweeping up the shells. Love it and will be my go-to range.

What an awesome place. 5 star range for sure.Somebody knew what they were doing when this place was built!State of the art facility, top notch personnel on site.Range officer always in the range with you.Incredible air exchange system on the range.Dont overlook the training that they offer, its the best I have seen.Including an advanced class where you get to go in front of the normal benches and learn/experience real world scenarios with state of the art targeting systems that can be programmed to flip-turn for a few seconds at a time.The person who complained about not being able to use bird-shot inside a range has no clue what they are talking about. Somewhat a fun place to shoot; the onlyDownside of the experience is a employee name Joe. I do agree with the other commenters, Joe is very rude and aggressive. Also, I feel like he was watching me like a hawk because I’m African American and I was shooting a gun. There were 3+ people in the assault bay but not once he went over there to watch them when Me and a friend was shooting. He stayed in the pistol bay and watched us.

My most recent visit would have been quite exceptional had it not been for Kens poor customer service. Not once did Ken open his mouth to even utter as much as a greeting to us, but he spent a great deal of his time being excessively watchful. Coincidentally, however, he was very helpful in terms of helping the other guests who came in to either browse their firearm selection, or frequent the range. My fiancé not only has a membership with this place, but he frequents once every week. Regular and paying customers should not be treated this way. Other than that, the other employees did a fantastic job assisting us.

I’ve been to many indoor ranges in SE WI and this is the best, by far. I’ve been shooting since 1980 so I’ve seen quite a few ranges over the years. The fully computerized pistol bays, air filtration, lighting and cleanliness are all top notch. I’ve have shot on gun ranges in the past that had such poor lighting and ventilation that it was like being in a coal mine.I really like the online pistol/rifle bay reservation setup. It’s great to never have to wait to use a bay if you pre book. The whole place is run with military precision. I come from a military and LE family so it’s also great to see they have military discounts for the brave men and women who serve/served our great country.They also have a nice selection of guns for rent or purchase. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. They also carry suppressors and can assist with the tax stamp process in purchasing one. It’s great that they have full time RO’s to see that customers are using safe practices while on the range, for all the shooter’s(especially new) safety and benefit. They also help keep the range clear of spent casings. I drive a half hr to WFTC and would gladly drive twice that because this gun range is definitely worth the drive.

Love this place! Helpful, attentive staff making everyone feel safe when others you dont know are shooting in the other lanes around you. I love their emphasis on safety and never pressure sales of any sorts to the customers. I personally bought and recommend the membership.

Best range facility and staff I have yet to come across. Went there shooting with my girlfriend on my first visit and ended up leaving with the family membership. We use the range at least once a week and have now for the last couple months. Each visit as good as my first, I highly recommend WFTC if youre seeking a comfortable place to shoot without feeling like you dont fit in.

This place is seriously not bad at all. Always enjoy myself quite honestly. Prices on new firearms may be high. But staff is respectful and nice just as long as you return the favor. Very knowledgeable as well. Im not quite sure what the negative reviews are about !!!!

Great facility, but as someone who is new to firearms, it wouldve been AWESOME if they wouldve warned me that earplugs alone are not sufficient hearing protection. Im pretty sure I did permanent damage to my hearing, and my ears are still ringing the day after. PLEASE WARN PEOPLE THAT EAR MUFFS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Over the phone they were very helpful and when I arrived I felt like Ive been going there for years they were very kind and knowledgeable about weapons. The gun range was very clean and so was the rest rooms. This is by far the best range & store in Milwaukee my next gun purchase will be from them and Im headed back to the range today...see you there.

Kent gave me a full tour of the building without trying to sell me on anything. This is just the place I have been looking for. Nice new building and great staff. Not the normal intimidating counter guys you normally find. 2 thumbs up.

Selection is not as large as a Gander or Outdoor World. They carry the mainstream ammo and an okay selection of quality firearms. The main reason to come here is for the firing range and classes. They have lots of special events like S&W days where you can test fire their pistols and get ammo discounts, rental firearms to test fire, etc.

Great range. Easy check in, and instruction. The only problem i have is all they sell is 1 hour slots. A half hour would be ideal in my budget. The staff was amazing, especially the nice lady who checked me in. This place makes you feel welcome. You dont have to be TACTICOOL to shoot here..

I had a poor experience. After a lot of research I wanted to learn more about a Sig 938. The assistant had very poor product knowledge so decided to come back at another time to try one on the range. I called and asked did they have a Sig 938 available and was there range time available. The person said yes but when I arrived the p938 was out for repairs.I came ready to try and purchase, but left annoyed. I subsequently purchased elsewhere.

I went here for the first time today on the advice of a friend. Had a great experience with me and my wife! The facilities were absolutely immaculate, the handgun range was well-lit and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful.They did have some kind of computer crash with their POS system, which caused a delay and a backup of customers waiting, but I wasnt worried about it.The best part: VERY ATTENTIVE RANGE OFFICERS. I am big on safety and Ive had issues at other ranges with people being stupid and goofing off. Not here.I will absolutely be returning and I will tell everyone in my circle of friends to try it out.

Maybe you should learn how to do your job.The lobby staff is friendly but the range officer was a colossal douche bag. He continually stopped us from shooting to inspect our ammo. Mr Joe made me and my guest feel uncomfortable, hes too aggressive. I recommend this guy be removed before you guys go out of business. Customer service dont exist with Joe cant mix racism and customer service.One star for Joe not the other employees.

Fast and easy FFL transfer experience. Had my pistol transferred here from an online retailer. Honestly it was pretty much like buy online, pickup in store. Helpful, friendly staff. I look forward to using the range in the future.

Pros:-Clean-Decent prices-Good selection of productsCons:-Staff wasnt ready for my reservation that was made, and had to start after the fact, which isnt a huge deal if they were flexible on when my range time ended. However...-They rushed me off the range earlier than what I paid for, which is even more odd because we were the only ones on the rifle range-Range safety was a grumpy guy that looked for any reason to complain (such as ammo choice, my suppressor, even a bandage on my finger)Id go again if the weather is so bad that I have no other choice than to go indoors and want to shoot rifle, but it will never be my go-to. Poor experience.

Had an issue with some conflicting information, but the owner/manager resolved it quickly. Wide selection of firearms, and a good range. Prices are competitive, but you can find a few things cheaper elsewhere.

Called and they told me they had ammo. When I got there they told me it wasnt for sale and that it is only for purchase on the range. Wish they would have said that before wasting a trip there.

Went there shortly after they opened to check it out. Employee said they allow birdshot. Went back the next week, was informed otherwise. After I paid. Also the range safety officer treated us like children who were looking down the barrel of a loaded gun. I understand the need for safety but he just had a way overinflated sense of self importance, just because you wear tactical pants and open carry your handgun doesnt make you an expert.

Today was my first time visiting WFTC and will not be my last. Dave behind the counter and Gary overseeing the range were both extremely helpful and courteous. The range and storefront were both very clean and well lit. Overall atmosphere was calm and quite relaxing. Not a bad place to unwind after work with some trigger therapy. I cant wait till my next trip back to WFTC!

Went to shoot an SKS and a M1950 was greeted by Joe and he informated me that the rounds could not be shot in at the range which by itself was understandable but after that when I tried to just tell him that last week when two friends and I were at the range the range officer tested my rounds and stuck to the magnet and said we could continue shooting after asking another employee but he didn’t wanted hear any of it and was continually rude, interruptive even after I tried to tell him I’m not complaining or trying to shoot my ammo. After Joe talking down to my friend and myself he showed terrible customer service after I asked him if he had any other 7.62x39 and he told us to “go look and see” because he didn’t know. Since my friend and I both work in customer service we understand the need to have a friendly face and sadly that was not the case at Wisconsin Tactical Firearms Training Center...It’s a shame that one employee with a terrible attitude can ruin a store location for multiple people...Would not return to this range

Have done several training courses with very good results from Jeff and Kent. They are highly skilled and they know how to teach. You will find WFTC to be a state of the art facility.

It was my first time at the range today. The range officer seemed to be very trigger happy. Several other people at the range were shooting and if they took a step back over the line with their firearm the rangemaster immediately reached for his sidearm. It felt as though everyone shooting was deemed as criminals or extremely unsafe people that had a high threat level other than people enjoying the range. There was also a miscommunication between entering the range and myself. I have a ccw and thought that I had to have it clear outside the range line and then take it to the shooting line to place my firearm. I followed the procedure of clearing my weapon at the counter in a safe direction. The range officer came from behind my shoulder and grabbed my gun and jerked it out of my hands. I understand that I was in the wrong place for their policy of unloading but you should never come from behind, grab someones gun without making contact and jerking it from them without knowing if the gun is loaded or unloaded or what is happening. It would have been much simpler if he would have said please go to the lane to clear your firearm and not touched it. I know I violated their policy and I am in the wrong for this, but the manner in which it was carried out could have resulted in a more serious situation especially without knowing it was a range officer grabbing my sidearm and jerking it. If it would have had a round in the chamber it could have easily been discharged with the way it was grabbed. They are very strict here as well for time. We just rented a gun from them to try and bought ammo. They informed us that we had 5 minutes left to shoot and would not let us go even a few minutes over to shoot the remaining rounds of the gun we just rented. We had to rent our lane for another hour to use 5 extra minutes for range time even with 6 lanes open. Rules are rules and I can understand that but the customer service was terrible. My brother went with me and he is active duty military and I have attended numerous tactical classes and I am currently in the process of becoming a police officer. Overall, the range seems very biased such as a good ole boy range. They treat shooters very poorly and act as if they ready to shoot you or others for minor offenses that is as simple as not knowing their policy or range etiquette when theirs is different than most places I have shot. The customer service was terrible and the range officer should be trained in threat levels and identifying hostile targets. The range master is the central point of concern. He made it feel very unsafe with an eery Im watching you feeling, dont screw up. I will not be going back to this range and I would say that you should be fully versed in their policies before going. I do not recommend this range and would advise seeking other ranges. This experience left a sour taste for both of us and they lost two customers today.

Poor customer service. Arrogant employees. I called the store on Feb 26th, asking about making a reservation for March 9th. I stated I was out of state and wanted to bring a new shooter with me to the range. They told me I needed to be on site to see my Drivers license. Policies are policies so I made the drive today. Upon arriving they informed me that there was a sig sauer event on the 9th and that anyone answering the phones would have known that, no reservations. I showed them my call log on my cell phone from Feb 26th. They also said that I was going to be showing a new shooter anything that I needed prior management in order to have a new shooter on the line with me. I informed them these were reasons why I made the call first. I should have been informed on the phone. I asked to speak to management, and the employee refused. Told me management would tell me nothing different. I asked for management, I didnt ask if they would say anything different. I highly suggest looking for a range that values their customers and integrity more. Additionally, unlike the range is saying. I am not an instructor. I was bringing a friend to shoot. Responding to feedback with lies designed to discredit the reviewer is unprofessional and speaks volumes to how the facility runs the business.

This place is a good-ol boys club for guns and nothing more. All of the employees have an attitude about outsiders that does not benefit their business at all.I visited this establishment on Saturday, August 4th with a friend of mine who was interested in the shooting sports. This friend is a resident of the neighboring state to our south. The employee with whom we signed in decided to invent a policy that an Illinois resident must have an Illinois Firearms Owners ID card (FOID) to shoot at this range.In case anyone missed it, this business resides in the State of Wisconsin where the ILLINOIS FOID does NOT apply. Yet, the employee claims that it is their policy that Illinois residents must have a FOID to shoot at their range.This is not only an arcane policy, it is a disgrace to all of us who belong to the shooting sports. The Illinois FOID is nothing more than a bureaucratic stopgap to gun safety in the State of Illinois and does nothing to prove the individual is a safe shooter.I was attempting to train my friend on the use and operation of my pistol that day. I gladly did it at a different range that didnt have such a nonsense policy. I also made it known at this other range that WFTC has such a ridiculous policy. We all laughed at WFTCs expense.I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN and I recommend that you dont, either.

Went here for the first time yesterday & I had so much fun! My boyfriend and I went to shoot the AR-15 which it was my first time and I had a blast..staff is amazing, helpful & very knowledgeable!

Awesome place. clean. tactical feel. all other ranges are pretty much filthy dumps compared to this one. compared to all others, I dont feel like someone is going to commit suicide next to me at the range.

Ive been to this range about five times, and I go primarily because I can fire long guns.The facility is clean and modern. The staff, for the most part, is professional and courteous. However, its a freakin range; so I dont expect them to do back flips for me... Id say its better than Fletchers (old school) but its definitely not as good as the WCTC Firing Range which, in my opinion, is the gold-standard for ranges in this area.

Employees are rude, unless you’re “one of them.”They will treat you poorly and speak in a condescending manner.The range is meh, nothing special. It’s also on the pricey side.No real reason to go here.

I’ve been a member there for a little while now(about a year) - they’re great, their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they get suuuuuuuper busy and because they’re relatively new I feel like over the last year or so they’ve worked out some kinks in policy, staffing, courses, really everything. There is a good community of people that use this as their home range/gun store. Overall it’s one of the best places I’ve been, and it’s right outside milwaukee.UPDATE: while the range is still a mighty fine range and the people there are nice, there are a couple of things Ive encountered there that are just a little bit irritating, mostly as they relate to transfers. For one, even reduced member FFL transfer prices are a little bit high in my opinion, if they werent so close I probably wouldnt use them just because of the price. Also, they have to check in your gun once its transferred there before you can come pick it up. I have two problems with this, 1) I picked up a gun there, opened the box and there were no scope rings inside (the rifle definitely comes with scope rings). I called the place I bought it from and they informed me that they never open the box before it leaves their building. Ive bought from this place several times over the last decade, never had a problem. Needless to say, Im almost 100% certain that when some jackass was checking the gun in he either lost the scope rings, or took them out and never put them back in. The second irritating thing is I almost always see that according to my tracking number the gun will arrive at the shop around 11 or so on a given day. However, its sometimes two or three days before the gun is checked in and I get a call that I can come pick it up. In one instance they never called and I called them two days later. Im obviously not.a dealer but Ive never heard of a place doing this before, and I have no idea why it takes any longer than 15 minutes to check in a gun. If it does, maybe its time to reevaluate your system.This goes to my overall gripe about this place is that it always seems disorganized, it always seems like one person isnt talking to the next. Still, their classes are excellent in my opinion and the range itself is great. Im not sure If Ill be renewing my membership or not, I guess well just have to see.UPDATE 2: still a member there, and classes I think have expanded and even improved. They have a good selection of firearms and I tend to like the staff. Cons would include gun prices that are generally more expensive than other places. Additionally, I just had a rifle transferred through them which member prices used to be 35$, and apparently are now 55$ -- thats ridiculous. Maybe they have their reasons as they do seem to be pretty high volume and thats a lot of paper work to keep track of etc. None the less, if youre thinking of having a gun transferred through them, Id look around a bit first.

Had a very good experience with a FFL transfer here. Very easy going and staff were helpful.
