Very friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally clean store. Hugh variety of merchandise of to choose from at prices to all budgets. They also provide a great budget plan so I could get what I needed without having to leave empty handed. I couldnt ask for better service, they were fantastic and I found the perfect mattress for myself with all the trimming at a very reasonable price! Top notch all around!! A++

I have purchased both my up stares and down stares couch here. Always have great prices at the main building & budget site. I purchaced two recliners here at a great price. I purchaced those items a year ago and are holding up great. I do a lot of looking around for best options & they ended up even being better prices than sioux falls. Today I got a great deal on a fire place/tv stand. I worked with Michael Lau for most of my stuff. Definitely recommend him, & really anyone else thats at the store. Great service, easy to deal with, & they set up fast delivery if needed.

I was looking for a specific lift chair for my dad, who recently broke his hip. The only Slumberland in the area who had it in stock was the Slumberland in Brookings, SD. However, I wanted to see the chair in action before purchasing. So I asked Mike L., the sales associate, if I could see a video of it working. He said “Certainly!” And promptly sent a nice video of the chair tilting back and lifting...just what I wanted to see. So I purchased the chair thru Mike and will be picking it up on my way to ND where my dad will get a lot of benefit from it.You don’t get such customer service like that anymore...Mike was knowledgeable, helpful, and a nice guy willing to go the extra mile to help out! Great store in Brookings!

Knew exactly what I wanted called store verified they had item. Paid over the phone went in later picked up receipt, went to warehouse got item. Got it home set up and relaxing. While at store I did try a floor sample and the sales rep gave very important details to set up proper and hints to trouble shoot on future. Sales rep very helpful thank you.

Very pleasant experience, furnished most my house after a big move. Employees very knowledgeable, no pressure. Most everything was available the next day. Which these days is almost unheard of. The delivery guys were professional and got my rather large headboard up and through a very small stairway. 5 stars for sure.

We shopped 6 different furniture stores from Sioux Falls SD, to Madison SD, to Brookings SD. Slumberland, Brookings SD was the ONLY store with inventory that would arrive prior to mid-December (HOM Sioux Falls sold mid-October delivery, but switched to mid-December after the required deposit was paid). Slumberland had inventory that they filled when the panDEMic started. Our furniture was delivered and placed where we pointed... 1 hour after purchase!! Mike was knowledgeable, courteous, and just great to work with. We highly recommend working with Mike. A drive to Brookings is well worth avoiding the Sioux Falls lack of inventory and bait-n-switch delivery tactics of others.

Mike was a great sales guy. He was willing to look up dates to make sure we would get our new furniture before the holidays. They had multiple options in stock where most other stores are 8-12 weeks out for getting them from manufacturers looking forward to our new furniture arriving in a week.

Allowed me to bring back a chair and pick out a better one that was nicer. Some of the customers werent wearing masks. Mostly older women with too much makeup that look like Republicans

My husband and I stopped at Slumberland Furniture in Brookings AD on Labor Day weekend. Rhonda the sales was GREAT. She showed us many items and answered all our questions. We bought a beautiful chair and are thinking about a table and chairs next. Slumberland is our favorite furniture store and we plan on making sure we will be going back again soon!

Barb at Brookings Slumberland was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We showed her pictures of our new house, and she led us from there. My husband and I came in with a basic idea of what we were looking for in the furniture we needed. Mike was very patient and helpful as we pieced together the right look for our new living room.

A great help in deciding which was best for me

Mike is always so helpful and really takes the time to go through his inventory to help find what will best suit the customers needs. Thoroughly answers any questions and goes the extra mile to resolve problems if they arise.

Back in early May, we went in wanting to buy a new kitchen table and chairs. After checking out the Clearance store and the main store, we could find anything we really liked in the stores. After talking to Mike (the store manager), we decided to order a set since their selection was very slim on kitchen tables. We paid half on the order and was told that we should have it soon (maybe a month). Time went by and we ended up calling in to check on our order. Delay after delay and excuse after excuse, they kept pushing it back 2 weeks at a time. We kept calling in, checking on our order. Mike ends up telling us he cant get ahold of the supplier they ordered it from and said he would order a similar table and chair from Ashley Furniture. Not exactly happy we werent getting what we wanted, but we just wanted a table and chairs. Then again, delay after delay and excuse after excuse, Mike seemed to lose the order. Mid August, we talk to Mike on order saying he had to contact Ashley Furniture directly on status on our table/chairs and that Slumberland wasnt really giving him updates and blaming this on COVID. He said the order said October 1st is went it should show up. We made sure Mike knew we were not happy and that we just wanted a table and chairs as it had been almost 5 months without a table and chair. I told him that if it was not here, we would be looking to cancel our order. October 1st rolls around, no call from Mike on an update, so I called the store and got the same old Ohh it got delayed another 2 weeks. He said we could pick something from the Clearance store as he understood we had been waiting for so long. We went and looked and there were lack luster of options to anything close to what we wanted. Bland color choices and all dark woods/colors. We went to the main store to see if there was anything and he offered us supposedly some furniture that he said might be here Monday. Checked his computer and Ohh well it should actually be here the following week. We said we didnt believe a word he said. He made no mention that we could maybe get a discount on anything we might have found for waiting so long. We walked around the main store and again, little to chose from and the wrong color choices. All dark wood and black leather. We asked if he would at least buy a set we found that matched what we wanted from Brookings Furniture Co. so we could actually get some chairs and table now as a possible resolution. Nope, cant do that. He and the whole Slumberland had no will to ACTUALLY come up with a fix to the problem other than just wait for something to finally show up. Ended up cancelling our order for their piss poor effort and took our business to Brookings Furniture Co. They had MANY options and we ended up finding a table and chair that matched what we wanted. Best part is they let us take it home THAT day. Dont do business with Slumberland unless you want to wait 6 months or longer for something.

Loved my mattress, delivery was quick and on time!

I have spent thousands here, but with 2 couches I purchased at $1,000 a piece. Both are falling apart fast. 1 was a rocking love seat and a metal bar popped out the corner and when a guest sat in it the bar went into my drywall and took a huge chunk out. The furniture is super cheaply made and I will NOT be returning ever! I will have to go to Sioux falls for my furniture from now on.

RHONDA the salesperson was so helpful in explaining which items were on sale and how the sales worked we left after purchasing a great chair that both my husband and I and our dog Charlie will be real happy sitting in watching tv during the Twin and Vikings games. There was a terrific sale for the Holiday and 5 min after they opened, it was unavailable. They only had 1.Fair enough, but then they offer me the same set, that there was only 1 available of, minus the coffee and end tables, for $100 MORE, than the advertised price.Really upsetting and felt swindled.Also wanted to look at bedroom sets, but left after their attempt to sell me something with less items, for more money.How can you run business that way?

My boyfriend and I went in looking to buy a new mattress. We were greeted by Rhonda as soon as we walked in. She was extremely helpful and made the process much faster and smoother than I anticipated! I will be going back to this Slumberland for future furniture purchases.
