This JCPenney location is currently closing. Right now they are at their 60% off most of the store. Some items are 70% to 80% off, but a very small amount. They are not allowing returns to any store location and they draw black permanent marker lines through upc codes on each item along with a mark on your receipt. They are also not taking coupons or JCP rewards. I have been here many times. The store is a small JCPenney. It does not have a salon and such in here. They do carry clothing, jewelry, bedding, shoes, and a small amount of toys and appliances. I have found some good deals over the years. I was just in to check it out before it closes and was able to score some good deals on clothing in each department and put away for Christmas gifts. There are still a few items in the store that were originally clearance and will still take 60% off and ended up being just over $1. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They do require masks inside the store and they have plexiglass between the register and yourself. I am bummed about the closing because it was the last JCPenney store close to our location.

I love this store, because of the clothes are so much better and we always got pants and dresses from here. We will miss this store alot, because we got all of the school clothes from here and much more that we cant find any place else.

Im suprise but theyre almost as chic and nice as Macys....well at least the one in Brookings

This is a well kept store with a lot of clothing to offer. The great thing about this store is that they have amazing sales. The bad things are the things that arent on sale are expensive. It also have a home section but very limited. However, the staff has always been very helpful and they can order the item or you can get it online and ship to the store for free.

Great deals with a nice selection. Not always the best selection of sizes available but they offer more sizes online. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I had a coupon for 25% off, sale merchandise included. I bought a sweater for $20. By the time the clerk ran it up, coupon included, I owed $33.50. So JCPenney math is 25% off of 20 equals $13.50 additional. But I learned why Brookings people shop in Sioux Falls.
